The good: friendly staff, very clean room, decent location. Wifi was good. The bad: no food at all available, no room service, no delivery (it was raining and we have small kids so prefer to have room service).Parking is almost impossible. Bad was very hard. Towels and toilet paper were not kept in the bathroom but stored outside in the living area- not very convenient at all. Advertised to us a 4 .5 star hotel but I think it was a mistake. We also got a suite but it was nothing like any suite I have ever stayed in before. We ended up leaving before midnight as we were uncomfortable so not sure if the breakfast we paid extra for was good or not.

Stayed here 2 nights, breakfast both mornings, and it's here. I've had the best eggs Benny I've ever had!!!! Left me so happy. My ice latte was great as well, not bitter or anything !!!

The interior designs of this hotel are brilliant. Very clean, great service and welcoming staff. Only fault was how hard the mattress was, however everything else was fantastic. Will stay again.

Nice clean hotel with comfy beds and lovely staff. Super close to the airport. Would stay again. Plus there is a great playground across the street if you have kids.

We stay here regularly. We love the location and the standard of the rooms which are clean and well apppointed. It is walking distance to restaurants at Portside Hamilton and Racecourse road Ascot. There is a Woolworths supermarket across the road, a service station next door and several bottle shops in close proximity. The bar in the hotel is very quaint and we enjoy a cocktail or two when we decide to have a night in. The staff are just beautiful ladies and very obliging. I know other friends who also stay here so it is a popular choice of accommodation. It is also conveniently close to the airport and freeway so for me this is a very good reason why I don’t stay in the city. Some of the rooms have balconies and views of the river. There is wheelchair friendly rooms as I myself have a disability and need assistance showering. If I could give ten stars I would. Thank you for always taking good care of us.

EXCELLANT. I especially liked the environmental aspects with larger soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers rather than then tiny packaged ones at other hotels. Café and Bar was very good too. Highly recommended. The room was quite too although it's right on the very busy Kingsford Smith Drive.

The staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. We were supposed to stay at another hotel which was absolutely terrible and the staff at the Kingsford welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness. The rooms were so clean and well kept. We Would stay here again in a heart beat.

An amazing find. Incredible rooms, very spacious and modern and clean. Great little restaurant with a sensation drinks menu. 4 pages of whiskeys including the Holy Grail of Japanese whiskeys, Habiki 17 YO. We will be back

We did not stay here but had both breakfast and lunch here. We also had a few coffees throughout the days we were visiting. It's a friendly Cafe with great staff and great service. Very reasonably priced and a very nice and modern space

Our flights were cancelled late at night, and the hotel was so easy to contact and very accommodating. They organised use of the room the next day as well as a late check out, all with a massive smile on their face. Could not compliment their customer service any more!

Lovely and clean, Frances at the front desk was very helpful. Gorgeous super deep bathtub. Top quality tea and coffee provided. Very close to 7-11, a little further and lovely strip of restaurants and shops as well as a coles, chemist and BWS. Chic nails around tge corner do a lovely job as well if anyone is after a manicure :0). We will be back :0)

The room was clean. No water pressure in the bathroom sink and they didn’t offer to fix it. Glass shower that showed into the bedroom. Not a great location. Stayed there to go on a cruise. Better accommodation down the street. The view of the potential drug house back yard next door did it for us. Crazy. Front staff are nice and pleasant. A family business it seems.

The Kingsford is a fantastic hotel with exceptionally friendly, polite & helpful staff, always wearing a smile. It's a great location, a few minutes stroll to the riverside where there are plenty of eateries and where you can enjoy a nice stroll. It's also only a short drive from Brisbane centre, the Airport & the Port with a free shuttle service to the latter that can be arranged in advance. Very comfortable beds, blackout curtains and double glazing that provides great soundproofing for a good night's sleep. Hand Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner & Skin lotion provided along with a safe, mini fridge, hairdryer and an iron. Excellent facilities. A highly recommended place to stay. Thank you. :)

Far exceeded our expectations. We got upgraded to a corner suite and was very expressed with our room. Perfect for two people for a 1-2 night stay. Room was very clean. Staff are very friendly. Couldn't fault anything.

Convenient distance from the airport, easy on-site parking and quiet for the location. Nice and clean and a bar that was open for a drink before retiring for the night.

Our breakfast was included in our room stay and was amazing! Gave us a 2 hour late checkout before our free shuttle to the cruise port.

These guys are so decent. I had to cancel at the last minute, which would have messed them about. The hotel permitted a very generous cancellation due to COVID challenges, which would have ended up costing them. I'll make this my priority place to stay now because of the decency of the hotel in being so accommodating. That tells me a lot about the quality management of this hotel. Comfortable and spacious room. I believe I stayed in a wheelchair room which has wide open spaces except for the bed area, that could be a little challenging if in a wheelchair and need assistance to transfer to the bed. But since I am totally blessed to have fully functioning legs, I am very happy with the room. The bathroom smelled of cleaning products, love that coz then I know it’s been cleaned and with what, so no concerns there. The exhaust fan in the bathroom could have been cleaner, but since that is a bit pedantic and picky, no loss of score for that. Bed was comfortable, however I like a black room to sleep in, so not being able to turn off the “night light” in the entrance way was annoying. I put the bath mat over it and held it in place by moving the small cabinet by the door up against the bath mat. The supplied products in the bathroom are of great natural quality and scent. As were the supplies for a morning coffee before heading downstairs for breakfast. The breakfast: the best eggs Benny I have ever eaten! Avocado was perfectly ripe, tomato firm but ripe, egg yolks and whites cooked properly but not hard. Just delicious. The staff here are friendly, efficient and helpful. I rang earlier than my stay to find out about parking and they happily answered my questions. Off street free parking near the entry is useful and appreciated.

Easy check in process, parking is close to entry and free, loved the friendly staff, our room was so clean and smelt amazing. We had children with and it's such a good space for a overnight stay. The tv was super and big. I was impressed by the amenities being natural range. Quality stuff. Most impressed by the complimentary chocolate, biscuits and spare linen inside cover bags. I think this is so important for reducing the spread of germs.

I’ve stayed here on 3 occasions and have always been pleased with my decision. It’s well located, only a short walk to Racecourse Road with all those restaurants, and the staff are so lovely. There is a small cafe/bar on the ground floor that serves great coffee. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The hotel have been super accomodating allowing for late check in process and late check out. The hotel room is a really nice size and the staff are incredibly friendly. The location is really close to the airport but also close to the ferry to get into the Cbd or a decent walk. It's a close walk to some great restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great location between airport and city. Also close to plenty of restaurants/cafes, river walk and kids playground. Free parking for guests. Bar for drinks including coffee and cafe for breakfast. Big clean modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Slippers.

A very convenient location to the airport, and well connected, with the Brett’s Wharf Citycat stop just across the road, and both Racecourse Rd and Portside Wharf an easy walk away. Rooms are modern (which is a shame, since it means leaky glass shower doors - put a spare towel down first to stop the room from flooding; limited hanging space, and windows that don’t open), but otherwise comfortable. Discovered on my first night that the bed sheet had a massive stain on it, but the replacement sheet was fine (and everything else was good and clean). The “pool” is just a large spa, but is still closed “due to COVID” as of May 2022. Wifi is included and is about average for hotel wifi - you may want to use your mobile hotspot if speed or consistency of connection is important. The TV is good quality but is weirdly locked to display only broadcast TV and some custom hotel menu screens (half of which don’t work). No access to streaming services, no chromecast, and even the HDMI ports are locked out so you can’t connect your own devices. Reception staff say lots of people complain about that, but they also won’t fix it (it’s definitely possible - the TVs have been custom set up for the hotel, they just need the same people who set the TVs up to unlock the other functions)… so that’s a very peculiar choice by the management. If lots of people complain about something… fix it? Would rate 4* otherwise. As others have noted, reception staff are excellent and friendly - anything that they can help with they will.

Rooms are clean and modern the bed is only Queen size which is ok is still comfortable. Hotel staff are really friendly. Only issue is if its busy and you come back late you might need to park out on the side street as there is only limited parking which is a bit of a pain. But everything else was good. It is across the road from a Woolworths and near lots of restaurants.

The one staff member that was on duty was fantastic. Poor girl was so busy with the bar & reception I don’t know how she kept a beautiful smile on her face. Location & check in & out was perfect, The room was trendy & clean. But!!!! The bed was shocking, was like a covered slab of cement & I like a firm mattress. Softer mattresses & larger towels & you would have a first choice stay.
