I didn't physically stay here. I did a tour through Brisbane Nature Tours which gave us access to visit the property. The trails were so diverse, full of different kinds of birds and trees. Robert who looks after the property took time and explained the different kinds of spiders, and was friendly. I would definitely stay here next time as there is so many different trails to explore.

The location is amazing and so relaxing. The bird life is excellent so if you haven't watched the movie, The Big Year, you should before you stay. We walked each day to a different section of the property. It was fabulous. We'll definitely return.

Could not think of a more wonderful place to spend our free time. We take our own food so we do not have to leave the tranquility until check out time. Have lost count of how many times we have stayed there and will return again & again.

A beautiful rustic cabin in an outstanding location. David & Wendy are lovely hosts with lots of information about the walking tracks in the area. Highly recommended as an amazing place to stay especially if you like birds 🙂

Perfect spot to get away. Relax and enjoy a rainforest walk and the amazing ambience of the country. I'd give this 10 stars out of 5.

This was our second trip here and it's such a beautiful spot. The cabins are comfortable and each one is nestled away from view of other cabins. The walks around the property are well worth doing and not too strenuous. So much wildlife to spot and views to appreciate. The hosts are lovely and helpful. From here it's also nice to explore a few small towns around the range or you can walk in the national park. We loved it and will return.

An amazing experience, away from everything, immersed in nature with wildlife experiences at your doorstep. Humble, comfortable cabins. Friendly and obliging owners. Wildlife you won't forget.

Myself and a friend stayed the weekend at this wonderful, peaceful oasis and had a great time. The king parrots were a friendly welcoming committee and we had fun feeding them over the weekend. Being bird lovers we enjoyed the variety of different species that we saw both around the cottage and on our walk down to the creek. The cottage was very comfortable and well appointed and the owners were lovely. Due to an injury I was unable to do as much walking as I would have liked but will definitely be back.

We absolutely enjoyed the mountain getaway experience. The kids were impressed with the two bedroom cabin and the fire place. The birds that come onto the cabin deck are amazing, king parrots, greenies and these adorable red banded finches. The walks within the property are a must do. All in all a great weekend was had by the whole family including our Golden Retriever Archie. Yes dog friendly!

We had such an amazing couple nights away. I loved waking up in the morning, making a coffee and looking out over the farm and hills. The views were gorgeous, the walk was so beautiful and it was extremely peaceful. I loved that we could bring our dog along as well. Wendy met us when we arrived and was so lovely, but apart from that we didn't see anyone else during our stay. The cottage was so cute and cosy and being able to snuggle up by the fireplace during the rainy night made for perfect stay.
