Initially,
our
dining
experience
(celebrating
a
Birthday
dinner)
exceeded
our
expectations.
We
had
an
attentive
waitress
who
was
lovely
and
very
helpful
as
we
chose
Javier's
Table
Experience.
As
it
is
the
chefs
choice
of
meals,
I
merely
stated
that
I
did
eat
Seafood
but
not
Octopus.
We
soon
discovered
that
this
was
relayed
as
non
seafood
customers.
Unperturbed
we
thought
we
will
have
another
opportunity
upon
return
as
we
were
impressed
by
the
beautiful
surrounds
and
friendly
staff.
After
a
serve
of
tapas
that
were
amazing
and
so
beautifully
presented,
we
waited
for
an
inordinate
amount
of
time
to
receive
our
next
dishes.
At
a
later
point
we
noticed
our
neighbouring
diners
receive
two
dishes
including
a
Brasa.
After
15mins
or
so,
a
male
waiter
collected
them
and
returned
them
to
the
chefs
counter.
Waiting
a
further
5
mins,
he
came
back
and
served
them
to
us
but
discretely
apologised
to
our
neighbours.
This
was
infuriating
as
he
disguised
the
fact
that
the
food
had
been
in
the
care
of
another
table
and
we
were
exasperated
by
the
long
wait.
After
5
tapas
served
we
had
been
seated
for
80mins.
We
were
observing
other
tables
come
and
go.
Our
original
waitress
came
back
to
us
and
apologised
and
began
to
organise
the
sweets.
As
we
spoke
to
her
she
noted
that
we
had
not
received
a
savoury
tapas
dish
to
which
was
rectified
as
quickly
as
possible.
As
we
waited
for
the
final
course
of
dessert,
the
other
waitress
who
had
mistakenly
proffered
our
dishes
to
the
neighbours
began
to
serve
us
another
dish
of
4
baked
figs.
Perplexed,
I
asked
was
this
our
dessert
to
which
she
quickly
whisked
it
away
without
comment.
Our
dessert
than
arrived
courtesy
of
our
original
waitress
to
which
we
were
now
keen
to
close
our
evening.
We
left
confused
and
disappointed
that
what
had
seemed
a
perfect
dining
experience
dissolved
to
chaos.
It
is
a
shame,
as
past
reviews
commend
the
quality
of
food
and
service.
We
can
attest
that
the
food
is
of
outstanding
quality
but
sadly
our
service
experience
was
not.
