A very well equipped yet busy children's playground, with lots of climbing walls, slides, climbing ropes and swings. It gets extremely busy during peak times and can be quite dangerous with the amount of kids. Definitely worth visiting during quieter periods with your young ones. Good location adjacent to a large grass area, suitable for picnics or relaxing, and not too far from the Streets Beach lagoon area.

Very well maintained. And many things for kids engagement and activities. Parents can relax a lot. Definitely worth spending quality time with kids. They surely love this place.

Huge park with an array of endless fun. My one year old loved the playground despite perhaps being more suited to ages 4+. Playground is situated close to bathrooms, bbq and family seating areas and local shops. The playground itself appeared quite clean in comparison to other public playgrounds. If you’re game, take your swimmers and have a dip in the refreshing outdoor Southbank pools just a few short metres away. A great place to bring the kids. If you’re wanting to save a bit of $$, I would suggest catching public transport/getting a ride in and packing food to bring 😁

"Family Fun at Riverside Green Playground: We had a fantastic time at the Riverside Green Playground in Brisbane! This playground is a perfect spot for families with kids of all ages. The play equipment is well-maintained and offers a variety of activities to keep the little ones engaged and entertained. The surrounding greenery creates a lovely atmosphere, making it a great place for picnics and relaxing while the kids play. With its riverside location and beautiful views, this playground is a gem for both locals and visitors alike. Highly recommended for a fun-filled day outdoors!"

My little one definitely loved this place. I had to stay few hours for him to have fun with lots of kids. It's just next to the pool, so kids can play here then cool down at the pool. Such a great combination!!

Really good playground, especially for older kids. There is a small area for younger ones but most of the playground is great for the 4-12 years range with amazing climbing possibilities. Toliets just behind the park and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby for snacks or meals. Very busy park on the weekends and during holidays.

Beautiful park Cool breezes freshen your up whilst your drink your fresh coffee from the nearby cafes. Kids can play on the playground or the always popular mouse wheel. Or everyone can join him to throw a ball or play a game on the beautiful manicured greens next to the river.

Great place to take the kids for various activities around Southbank. There are several playgrounds at Southbank and all are great. Be mindful that weekends can be very busy and some much older ‘kids’ may use the playground. During the week it can be quiet and perhaps more ideal to visit if you have much younger kids.

Awesome park. For all ages. It gets busy in holidays but still super cool. Plenty of shade and bathrooms very close. Plenty of space to climb and two slides to have fun. It is close to the river. Also you have a nice view of the city.

Great playground for kids of all ages. Does get crowded but the kids still have plenty of fun. There are toilets and plenty of food options nearby so very little to be worried about during an afternoon here. Kids can easily spend an hour here be prepared.

It's the most beautiful playground I have seen so far. I have 2 young boys they are very active I went to lots of park in Sydney and Brisbane goldcoast. This is the most beautiful that combine many thing, playground, pool, like sea pool, BBQ, view ... close to restaurants and cafe. It's a huge park...and cost nothing ... I love this playground

A good place to be. The rides for toddlers are bit difficult for their age. The rides with ropes should have a entry with a ladder or something like that. There is a very nice pool as well for kids and adults.

It's a lovely and exciting playground, however on a Saturday it was incredible busy. Also entirely not suited for a 1 year old to play there. In a few years I'm sure I'll give this 5/5!

My children love this place very safe and can find lot of items to play with ‘whoever still need to keep your eyes on your kids as there are mix of children’s age playing together from 2 years old to 12 years old ‘ but over all very good place to spend time with your family definitely recommend this place

Great playground! Alot of challenging climbing and long slides to burn the little ones energy. Right next to the city Beach pool and a collection of wonderful restaurants. Very convenient to cool after and fill up the little tummies after all the climbing and running around.

  • 4/5 Julia P. 1 year ago on Google
Cool park, has a mix of equipment for older and younger kids and some really cool twisty slides. My 3 year old is pretty adventurous when it comes to climbing but the big slides were too difficult for him to climb up himself; but there’s other things that are age appropriate but of course he wants to do the harder stuff. So be prepared to join in the climbing if your toddler also wants to try to harder equipment 😅 Toilets are right next to it and there are sun shades, it was raining a bit but the sunshades were enough to keep us dry.

This is a super fun place and next to it is a massive water park! They even have sand. Highly recommend!!

  • 1/5 Ashlee B. 1 year ago on Google
Completely unsafe for young children as the playground is near water and you cannot properly visualise them without tailing the children. The leveling of the platforms near the playground do not give you clear site of the kids. Anyone that has a child that will wonder,, do not bother. We left quickly feeling anxious. Great for school aged kids. Anyone under, would not ever risk again.

All weather playground that is so good for kids of all ages. Climb, slide, explore, swing. It’s all here and protected by a soft cushioned rubber underlay beneath all the activities.
