Stayed
for
hotel
quarantine.
Upon
initial
entry,
we
thought
we
were
lucky
as
the
reception
area
is
highly
clean,
tall,
modern
and
beautiful.
That's
where
the
amazingness
stops.
We
were
told
the
rooms
are
"Professionally
cleaned"
due
to
COVID.
Our
room
had
dust
on
the
window
frames
which
looked
3-4
months
old.
When
opening
the
curtain,
dust
would
fly
all
around
the
room.
(This
is
not
an
exaggeration,
I
was
literally
covered
in
dust
from
head
to
toe
just
by
opening
the
curtain).
The
floor
had
crumbs
from
previous
guests
on
it.
When
we
addressed
the
issue,
we
were
unable
to
move
rooms.
So
we
requested
cleaning
equipment.
(Which
is
ridiculous
in
the
first
place,
why
do
we
have
to
clean
a
room
we
are
paying
to
stay
in,
in
the
first
place??)
Was
told
by
management
"We
will
send
the
equipment
up
to
your
room,
please
tell
us
what
you
require"
So
we
requested
certain
items
(Lint
roller
to
clean
the
floor,
wipes,
cleaning
spray,
paper
towels)
A
day
passes,
no
cleaning
equipment.
2nd
day
passes,
no
cleaning
equipment.
So
we
call
the
reception,
ask
them
where
is
our
cleaning
equipment
that
was
promised?
We
got
the
response,
"We
will
send
it
up
right
away!"
20
minutes
later
we
get
a
knock
on
the
door,
and
behold,
our
amazing
variety
of
cleaning
equipment
arrives!
(....It's
a
single
dust
pan,
2
chux
wipes
and
a
huge
bottle
of
liquid
alcohol)...
okay..
fair
enough.
Not
sure
how
we
were
supposed
to
clean
a
mountain
of
dust
off
the
curtains
and
crumbs
off
the
floor
with
this,
but
we
managed
nonetheless.
In
addition
to
the
room,
taps
were
leaky,
and
screech
horribly
every
time
you
open
them.
The
view
from
the
room
was
nice.
That's
about
it.
Food
was
average
at
best.
Rinse
and
repeat
meals
over
a
14
day
period.
Christmas
lunch
was
an
exception.
For
$21.50
per
meal
(On
average)
I'm
not
sure
how
cereal
and
bread
with
no
butter
as
a
meal
is
justified.
One
of
the
meals
was
corn
chips,
with
cold
shredded
cheese
and
salad.
How
do
you
suppose
we
heat
up
the
cheese
so
it
can
melt
with
what
I
assume
is
supposed
to
be
nachos?
Nonetheless,
we
used
a
hairdryer
to
melt
the
cheese
as
we
weren't
provided
with
a
microwave
or
anything
else
to
heat/melt
certain
foods.
As
there
was
2
of
us
in
the
room,
we
noticed
differences
in
meals.
(For
example,
one
bag
had
butter,
one
bag
didn't
get
butter.
One
bag
had
cutlery,
the
other
didn't
get
it.
One
bag
got
a
soft
drink,
the
other
one
didn't
get
one??)
Lucky
because
there
was
2
of
us
and
we
could
share,
but
for
people
who
are
staying
alone,
not
sure
how
this
would
have
gone
down.
On
top
of
all
of
this,
one
of
our
laundry
items
had
been
lost.
When
we
reported
the
issue,
I
never
received
a
follow-up.
It's
been
about
10
days
since
then
and
we
still
haven't
received
a
follow
up
in
regards
to
our
missing
laundry
item.
They
say
they
will
"Call
me
back"
but
they
never
do.
Unless
I
initiate
a
conversation
first,
there
is
never
any
incentive
from
their
side
to
follow
up
on
an
existing
issue.
Service
from
the
hotel
staff,
in
general,
wasn't
bad,
not
like
they
were
rude
or
anything.
They
were
quite
pleasant
to
talk
to
over
the
phone.
I
just
feel
like
communication
could
be
a
little
better
between
the
teams.
(Housekeeping/reception).
In
short,
whoever
has
to
quarantine
here,
good
luck.
:)
