Given
the
extreme
price
of
hotels
at
the
moment,
with
my
usual
being
3x
the
price,
I
looked
at
hostels.
I
found
a
private
room
at
the
YHA
for
about
what
I
used
to
pay
for
hotels.
It's
a
little
bit
of
a
hike
up
from
Roma
Street
station,
up
a
hill,
in
the
hot
afternoon
sun
which
wasn't
the
most
pleasant.
The
staff
then
take
your
photo
and
give
you
a
card
to
access
your
room.
I
was
pleasantly
surprised
by
what
I
found
there.
Elevators
up
to
the
rooms,
and
in
my
private
room
it
had
its
own
bathroom
and
air
conditioning.
(The
air
conditioning
turns
off
automatically
every
hour
or
2).
As
I'm
only
there
to
sleep,
and
out
all
day,
that
suited
me.
It's
a
little
noisy
with
train
tracks
ride
outside
your
window
so
bring
ear
plugs.
There
is
a
kitchen
upstairs
where
one
can
store
and
prepare
food,
and
a
bar
and
pool
outside
in
the
evenings.
A
TV
and
yoga
room
also
make
the
stay
more
enjoyable.
Downstairs
they
have
a
$12
breakfast
which
was
little
more
than
a
few
different
breakfast
cereals
and
instant
coffee,
which
wasn't
really
worth
it.
Limited
parking
in
a
tiny
car
park
for
$20
a
night.
