    I am writing this review, not with spiteful or malicious intent, but rather a genuine concern for others. I'm sharing my experience to make you aware of what happened to me, and what could possibly happen to you too. Please read on, before you consider seeking training with Biologic Labs. While these guys might be good at taking very fit people to a whole other level in their fitness, perhaps they need to be more careful with the average to not so fit/strong.... I am bedridden. For the second time in just a few months, unable to walk, sit, move or stand without excruciating pain, after I endured an intense pelvic hip injury as a result of training at this gym. I enrolled for training a few months ago, believing I would be in experienced hands, who would guide me and train me to improve my strength from the level I was at. Rather than working with me at my fitness/strength level, I believe I was pushed way way way beyond my capabilities, and because I myself tend to push myself when challenges are given to me, I did my first 3 sessions, with all the weight, sets and reps that were set out for me by my trainer which were ascertained after we did an initial strength test. As a result of pushing way beyond my fitness/strength limitations I am now in month 6, still trying to repair the damage that was done. It took me a month after the initial incident to be able to walk, sit, stand or move without crazy bouts of pain, initially recovering from what seems to have been a displacement of my pelvis(on the right), which ended up causing nerve irritation and excruciating pain. Not being able to walk, sit or stand properly for weeks was extremely frustrating. I limped around for months. Again, that was approx. 12 wks ago.... Now, after months of no exercise, nutritional therapy and chiropractic sessions to set the hip right, I started doing really really mild exercise last week and boom, just like that, I am bedridden again. It flared up, what has turned out to be, a very significant long term injury. Its like having the injury for the very first time all over again, unable to walk, sit or stand, or walk, ...here begins the journey of recovery a second time.... in between taking very strong painkillers, when the pain killers wear off, the waves of pain from the nerve irritation are so intense...I can't even put into words. My chiropractor who helped me recover from the injury the first time it happened is helping now again (For 3 yrs, he has assisted with any injury I have, after being the only one who actually successfully treated an old snowboarding arm injury I battled with for years). Interesting that not only has he treated an acquaintance of mine who also had injuries from training at Biologic Labs a few months back, but when I went back in this week with this injury flare up, he told me he has subsequently had to treat a number of other people with injuries as a result of training at Biologic Labs. Some food for thought....

    The best inner city strength and conditioning gym. With the support, guidance and genuine effort by the trainers at SOF, I have been able to create a lifestyle where I continually promote the creation of healthy habits - core strength, flexibility and dieting. Their core promise and "science" approach has helped me achieve unreal results. More importantly I am, and the others around me, everyday, are happier because of their influence. There are a variety of classes to suit your goals and each class is tailored towards all levels of fitness. Don't waste your time at 24 hour gym's - try the free week. It will be your best decision this year. genuine effort towards building a stronger you.

    I'm a granny. I am not injured and i could probably lift harder than you sonny. They would of taught you more 'form' than a cross fitter. Biologic Labs is the best in Queensland. Big call i know, but if you have big 'guns' like me you can back up your big words. Jill.

    Fantastic experience, can't recommend this place enough. Don't settle for the generic chain gym experience. These guys are the real deal, drop in and experience for yourself.

    We’ve been coming here for years and love it. The owner is a great guy, and a good trainer. They will push you to work your *** off, and it sucks - but you leave feeling amazing. I’ve put on nearly 20kg (of muscle) in the past 3 years working out here. They offer an integrated fitness solution, including simple body composition testing, nutrition planning, and personal training. They also partner with a doctor for hormone therapy. Recently remodeled, 100% recommend.

    Amazing facility. The trainer are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about you and your improvements. I owe all my strength and muscle gains to their methods. Just trust what they recommend and you will see extreme gains

    Finally Personal Trainers that genuinely help you achieve your goals. I have been training in gyms for 20 years with the sole goal of building muscle and losing body fat. Over these years I have trained for hours day in day out and I have never achieved that goal until I started training at biologic labs. I have been very fit (running half marathons) and I have been very thin but I have never, until now, been muscle toned and strong. I only train an hour 3 -4 times a week now and have so much extra time. The training is intense! What you achieve at Biologic Labs is up to you, if you do the training and follow the nutritional plan you will build muscle and lose body fat. Your trainer will be there every step of the way making sure you achieve your goals but you have to do the work.

    This place scams people They arrange a meeting with the onsite Doctor with Payment upfront. I went in there to get testosterone. The doctor kept a ton of sustanon 250 on the table in plain sight and advised me on the benefits of keeping optimum levels. He told me that I would need to get a blood test done and that he could prescribe me some. After another payment at the clinic, I tried to arrange a meeting with the doctor but could not get intocuh. No matter how many emails i left, he would not respond. No matter how many phone calls, no response. Will definitely be bringing this to the attention of the fair trading office.

    I’ve had no success in years of attempts to change my physique until I started with biologic. I have arthritis in my upper back and loose shoulders from dislocations. I’ve been training with Tom, he along with all the other coaches are personable and devoid of the ego most trainers I’ve seen carry around with them. Any time I’ve hit walls in training due to physical limitations Tom has used his experience to modify each exercise to strengthen my weaknesses without injury or pushing too hard. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough.

    Amazing location, skilled coaches and good quality equipment. I would highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a positive training environment, group sessions and / or personal training. Well priced and well worth it. Friendly staff with a great sense of community.

    The facility itself has many knowledgeable coaches but Matt excels at a totally different level. It is evident from only one session that Matt is not only personable, passionate about the art of training but also has excellent knowledge that he is able to communicate, deliver and share effectively - even to novices. To me, this is perhaps one of the most desirable qualities a coach should possess - to be able to teach and effectively tailor his delivery of knowledge to various clients/students with different level of training.     Their trainer/ PTs are well trained, not just got certified through some u known facilities. A lot/ all of them are actually uni graduates. Much more professional than someone got certified in 6 months.

    My experience at Biologic Labs has been incredibly positive. I’ve read the all of 2 negative reviews here and while their experience is valid, they certainly don’t describe the Biologic Labs I go to. The business owner (Matt) and my trainer (Tom) are highly experienced, thorough and thoughtful. I can identify with walking (well OK limping) away after my first few sessions and being in quite a bit of pain for days afterwards but never has my trainer pushed me beyond my limits. Quite frankly, if you don’t have some pain then you’re not doing it right and besides, you must be honest with your trainer about your physical condition from the get-go. They are guided by you so pushing yourself beyond your own limits is on you, not them. As for being scammed… give me a break. Biologic is a locally owned and operated boutique gym making a go of it in a tough market. I’ve been to the retail gyms and they cannot compare. If you want the best and you’re willing to commit yourself then make an appointment at Biologic.

    Science of Fitness is an amazing facility for anyone looking to better themselves both physically and mentally. The beauty of SOF are the people behind it, who put tremendous time and effort into each member ensuring everyone reaches their goals and more importantly enjoys the journey! SOF have created an amazing family culture that really encourage you to keep pushing yourself each day and leaves you wanting to come back for more. I would recommend to everyone!

    Absolutely love this gym! It’s programmed really well, and isn’t just a random bunch of exercises for the day. The staff are all really knowledgeable and have adapted the programs around my injuries. The members are welcoming and people I now hang out with on the weekends. I’ve never been as strong or consistent with my training. Thanks so much SOF!!

    Very poor service from the lady at reception named Nicole. Walked in to enquire about prices and classes for the facility.Waited over 5 minutes for her to finish her conversations with members and take notice.Following this,her attitude and tone towards my queries were very condescending and unprofessional,in regard to my questioning about pricing. This became rather apparent when I saw her interaction with other members.Definitely not happy with the standard of reception I received from this lady,as individuals from all ethnicities and backgrounds should be treated equally.

    Can not speak highly enough about the entire Team at Biologic Labs - these guys are truly AMAZING at what they do. Have been Training with them for almost a year now and would never again waste my time or money on regular Gyms or so called 'Personal Trainers'. These guys get you the results YOU want through proper planned nutrition (never eaten so much food in my life) and weight training. They definitely are the leading professionals in the fitness industry and I would recommend anyone who wants to loose weight, get stronger or just become healthier to call Biologic Labs and stop wasting your time and money in Gym's and with Personal Trainers who have you exhausting yourself with no results. Huge shout out to my Trainer Amy - could not be happier with how she has helped me transform my body.

    I have tried and failed with many 'personal trainers' and pointless gym programs over the years and all I did with them was waste my money. I stumbled across Biologic Labs accidentally and I'm glad that I did as my life has been changed forever. I needed to make some big changes in my life and after my first consult with Matt I knew I was ready for anything he threw at me. The whole team at Biologic Labs are extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to answer any questions you throw at them. The Body Recomposition program is second to none. If it is results you are after then this works. Simple. In 13 weeks, training twice a week at the Labs with Matt and being very vigilant with my eating plan he designed to suit my goals, I successfully lost 33kgs of body fat and gained 16kgs of lean muscle and I am stronger and healthier than I have ever been. I am very proud of what I achieved in that short amount of time however I firmly believe that I would never have achieved results anywhere near these without the professional guidance of Matt and his team. I cannot recommend the whole team highly enough and know that if you are willing to put the effort in, you will not be disappointed with the results!

    I’m most definitely NOT a gym-bunny and was apprehensive about training in a “gym”. I wanted to get strong, but gym environments in general have never really appealed. Big machines. Big mirrors. Big egos. However Matty assured me from day 1 that egos were not welcome in his gym. And from my first session with Tom, it was clear that Biologic Labs is not your usual gym and these guys are not your usual coaches. Everyone there is super friendly (athletes and coaches alike) and there are indeed no egos. Just people working out to their own agendas and modestly smashing their own PBs. Also, if you follow their plan? You get the results. I’d say, as a female, this is the perfect gym for those who don’t like the idea of going to the gym. The most challenging part for me was convincing myself to give it a go. And from day 1, Tom and the gang have totally changed my perception of training. Oh! And they welcome four legged friends as well. I’d give them 6 stars if I could 👍🏼

    Excellent equipment, great atmosphere and Matty’s knowledge is second to none. Highly recommended for strength and nutrition, complete body recomposition is what they do. Naseem is an outstanding PT if you are after that extra push.

    I was involved in a car accident a few years back and had to have a back operation to walk again. I went to many rehab trainers and they got me so far, but I kept having relapses where my back would flare up and I would be bed ridden for days at a time... and then I discovered Biologic Labs, "That place with the muscly nude guy on the roller door" as my friends call it. Josh took me through everything from diet to life style, from training to mentoring. They are extremely articulate with form and training and put together an individual package to suit my needs, requirements, goals and body composition and not just generic programme slapped together by a weetbix box trainer thats been churned out of the Sickness Industries (Most commonly referred to as the Health Industry) personal training school. The most encouraging thing to see, is that each and every trainer at Biologic labs practices what they preach, they all look amazing, (unlike the 80% of PT's at most chain gym's these days that got churned out of that PT factory in 3 months) which is extremely encouraging and motivating because they obviously know they are talking about. I have been training with Josh for a year now and am stronger and more powerful than I have ever been, and the best part is I haven't had a single relapse! This has by far been the best investment of my life and I would recommend Biologic Labs to anyone who wants to improve their life beyond what they ever though possible! Thank you guys for everything, you are Amazing!

Walking into a new training centre is apprehensive for anybody, regardless of fitness level, however the coaches at SOF have got the formula just right. Energetic, entrepreneurial and incredibly professional, Joseph, Rory and the other coaches will work hard to get you comfortable, to understand your limits and to develop your potential, whether through personal training or as a member of the group classes. This isn’t your stand in front of the mirror doing endless reps type gym; no, this is an environment where your strength, fitness and flexibility is enhanced without a reliance on boring machines. The team are always willing to go the extra mile to prepare plans and programs that suit your goals and preferred training style. Group classes take inspiration from the Zuu fitness modality that consistently delivers strength, agility, increased mobility, and are, above all, heaps of fun. Come and see what the magic is about.

    Rory, Joe and Jimmy at SOF helped me rediscover my enjoyment of exercising. They got me motivated to train and better myself physically, which helped me feel better mentally. They have an incredible amount of knowledge when it comes to training, biomechanics, neural activation, functional movement, plus more, and they never stop wanting to learn more themselves. After training at SOF, not only do I feel better about how I look, but I feel better about how I move and am able to complete everyday activities. If you're looking for a place to train, whether it's 1-on-1, group training or elite sport, this is the only place in Brisbane to do.

    I have been training at SOF for well over a year now and have never looked back. The boys there not only show a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of health and fitness, but whatever your goal is they will cater for, anyone and everyone. My strength, physical fitness and attitude towards health and well being have all changed for the better since starting at SOF. Highly recommend if you are looking to improve all aspects of health and well being, whether you are an elite athlete or not, you won't regret it!

    Science of Fitness is unlike any gym I've been to before. The coaches know everyone by name and are more than willing to hand out encouragement and advice wherever they can. They teach you everything you need to know about why you're doing an exercise, what area it targets and how to get the most out of training. Before starting at SOF I dreaded going to gym because I didn't know how to use most of the equipment or what exercises were best for me. I rarely interacted with the trainers or the other people working out and everything was a solo effort. SOF is a community where people who were once strangers have become friends, everyone is happy to encourage each other and high fives are always handed out at the end of a class. Since starting at Science of Fitness earlier this year, I've lost 12 kilos with the help of my PT Matt and by attending the classes SOF has to offer. I'm more motivated than ever to work out and the trainers are always encouraging of attendance and participation. Science of Fitness is a positive environment where encouragement is aplenty, safety is a priority and goals are worked at until they're achieved! Hands down the best gym out and 100% would recommend.

    After watching my husband reap results from a combination of his weekly training sessions with Joe and attending the classes offered at SOF, I decided to swap up my existing exercise routine and give SOF a go. I have never sweat so much, or thought I would throw up so often but at the same time, I’m feeling pretty good. While I’ve only been attending for two months, my cardio has increased dramatically and I’m pushing weights above anything I’d done previously. I had never deadlifted (that was for extreme gym chicks only right?) or done front squats and the idea I would one day do a chin up was a far fetched concept. Not anymore. The general vibe of the place is just happy, the trainers love what they do, high fives are a plenty and everyone is out to push you to reach new goals. There is no judgement on your ability, the classes are for people at varying stages of fitness and there is plenty of variety in what is offered. As someone whose fitness was slipping due to ongoing injuries, I’m happy to report through my weekly sessions with James I have been able to work on my technique and start addressing these issues. Chin up, here I come.

    I need the world to know how good the boys at SOF are at making you feel Happy, Healthy and FIT. I'm 53, joined so many gyms with great enthusiasm but never went, I hate missing a session and its been nearly 3 years . From not being able to stand on a 40cm box on my own to squatting 70k yesterday shows Joe has the most amazing manner to push you way beyond anything you ever thought possible. The knowledge he has on how everything works is such a security knowing you will never HURT yourself. Their smiling faces and warm greetings on arrival is such a lovely way to start your exercise session. I Can highly recommend SOF if you are looking for the BEST most Respectful Trainers in Brisbane
