    Let's face it there are a sea of personal trainers offering all sorts of results, some with really dubious qualifications., I chose Anthony and best practice because of Anthony's holistic approach to health. His qualifications are very impressive with a degree in both sports science and psychology, a very clever mix for one aspiring to stand out from the crowd. Anthony is not just well equipped from an educational standpoint he is sincere and takes a real interest in his clients, when you are training to Anthony you are the only person in the room, his focus is on you. I don't want to make this review to glowing because it will seem too good to be true, suffice to say Anthony is a unique and endearing individual, I highly recommend training with him.

    The last 15 years of my life have truly been the busiest! Trying to keep all the balls in the air as a Working Mum raising 2 active children while attempting to be be the best Mother, Partner, Daughter, Sister, Friend to everyone has meant that exercise has been a low priority! Anthony and his Team at Best Practice have helped me to put exercise back on my agenda and to work around my busy schedule. I now have more energy to meet all my commitments. If you are feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start I throughly recommend Best Practice Personal Training where they see you as an individual and help you put in place long term strategies to succeed.

    Tried the kickbikes out a few weeks ago. A lot of fun and a tough workout aswell! A unique aspect that I've only seen at Best Practice Personal Training. Highly recommend giving them a go.

    Anthony helped my wife set attainable goals that she achieved with his support based on a genuine interest in her and well founded advice around diet and exercise. If you want a personal trainer with a bed side manner that makes you feel valued and respected in taking the steps to achieve your own health and fitness goals ( and lets be honest - helps drop a dress size or two ) Anthony is the man.

    This is NOT your usual boot-camp! Anthony's education, experience and care mean that even with a group of us, Anthony is on top of all our previous injuries (war stories really) and is able to help us individually to modify the exercises and strengthening techniques to ensure we progress at a great rate, without further injury! It feels like a personal trainer to yourself, but with the company and fun of a great bunch of others. I have never found exercise to be so enjoyable and when I leave I feel like I can face the day with a positive outlook. Love it!

    I’ve never done Bootcamp before and I was a bit nervous! But Anthony made it a welcoming and enjoyable experience. It’s a great group of people and exercises target strength and mobility. It’s a great mix of cardio, weights and stretching each session. I can feel myself getting fitter each week! Three times a week and you’ll feel the difference. Highly recommend!!!

    I have been training with Anthony at Best Practice for over 10 years with my goal being to remain as fit and healthy as possible for as long as possible so that I can enjoy my life to the full. I absolutely recommend the Best Practice approach and its tertiary qualified trainers - expert knowledge, attention to client goals/needs and targeted programs. Good for rehab as well. Under Anthony's guidance I have ticked off participation in 5k and 8k runs and am planning a 270k walk over two weeks in May. Best Practice and Anthony have my highest recommendation!

    Hands down the most welcoming and inviting group of people and top notch Fitness Experts you'll find in Brisbane! You really can come as you are and feel at home; comfortable and confident you will be shown how to look after your body and maintain a healthy level of fitness for your age. No pressure, no complex equipment and no judgement. I've always been intimidated by gyms and group fitness environments but this place and the work Anthony does makes you feel relaxed, safe and welcomed., It's more like a good group of friends who all just want to see you thrive. Would recommend to anyone looking to learn how to exercise for your age and stage of life and to stay healthy and not be overwhelmed by the process.

    It is not a common practice for me to write testimonials however on this occasion I feel compelled to put pen to paper to share how Anthony Gillespie and his team at Best Practice changed my life. Over the last few years my fitness and overall well-being had declined as I had undergone a couple of operations on my knees and was then diagnosed with cancer which required surgical intervention. I have used several Personal Trainers in the past however found them similar, young people with limited qualifications and rolling you through the same program. A friend of mine recommended Anthony to me and at our first meeting I noticed the difference, he was focused on my goals, he was extremely well qualified and discussed holistically the things that will need to change to achieve my goals. One key issue is that due to my previous injuries, exercises had to be specifically tailored and Anthony came up with innovative ways to re-build the strength in those areas. End result is that I had lost 15kg, my body has not been stronger and I had just completed an Olympic distance Triathlon. I would highly recommend Anthony to anyone who wants proper personalised personal training. Thanks Anthony and Julia for their dedication and commitment.

Anthony, Sally and the team are very well educated in exercise physiology and have taught me tips on how to keep my body moving so that I have mobility, flexibility and strength.     The 6 Week Challenge with Best Practice PT was a great kickstart needed for me to get back into a heather lifestyle which i had been neglecting for some time. Anthony and the BPPT team not only taught me the importance of regular and manageable fitness training, but their well rounded and educational approach concentrates on making better choices through diet and how to combat the cravings for the naughty stuff. The 6kg's i lost was a great outcome but more importantly was the change in mindset to focus on a heather lifestyle for the long term. I highly recommend Best Practice PT for anyone needing support to become healthier for the long term.

    Best Practice PT is not your regular run-of-the-mill gym. I absolutely love the team at Best Practice PT. Anthony & Sally are very engaging and caring. If you're looking for holistic health & fitness support and eventual independence look no further! They go over and above always and genuinely know and care about your needs.     They are amazing. I have had lots of trainers.The number one difference that I can pin point is that I feel ‘supported’. They took the time to understand who I am and train me the way I want to be trained. it is a fun inclusive environment that focuses on form and function. Anthony and his trainers are all degree-qualified and what's exceptional about their business is they truly care for their clients.     I've been training at Best Practice Personal Training for over 10 years now. Anthony and all the trainers are highly qualified and easy to get along with. Their training focuses on my goals, with an emphasis on exercising safely. Boot camps aren't for me, I'm over 60 now, and don't want to get injured. The Best Practice Personal trainers have all spent time getting to know me and what I am capable of doing. They then use this knowledge to push me during training sessions. Its a great feeling to set and achieve a goal and I find that the physical exertion gives me a self-confidence that spills over into other aspects of my life. If you're older and are serious about your physical well-being, then the personalised training from Anthony, Sally and Joao at Best Practice is a safe way to improve fitness and surprise yourself about what you can achieve.

    Sally is focused on helping me achieve my fitness goals and makes every session challenging with a good healthy dose of fun. My fitness has increased and I’ve seen noticeable improvements with my weight and body movements. The sessions are modified on a regular basis which makes them interesting. She sets new challenges and levels which pushes me to work harder throughout each session. Sally ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries and has the workouts recorded so I can repeat them during the week to suit my work schedule.     I've known Anthony and the BPPT team for over 10 years. They are so much better than your normal gym/boot camp trainer. BPPT focuses on your personal situation, goals and challenges. They use the latest in nutrition and training science and techniques, along with a great, friendly approach that really works. Their genuine interest in helping you achieve your goals and how they make training an enjoyable social experience really helps you get results and be able to achieve more than you ever thought you could. They have been amazing through the COVID lock downs, offering a range of Virtual Train-from-Home options that I still use today and that fit in well around my work commitments. I highly recommend you check out BPPT if you're after a supportive PT the has the techniques that REALLY work.

    I started out as a member of a 6-week challenge group, which morphed into full time membership and then back into small group sessions due to covid limitations. This is personal training at its best, especially for those who get lost in the big impersonal gyms amongst the grunt and sweat of the lycra generation. So if you want or need special attention in order to deal with niggling injuries or just the ageing process so you can keep moving, make the move across to Best Practice.

    I joined Best Practice with the goal of improving my mobility. I was assured they would work with me and my limitations which they have definitely done and I am really impressed. After the first 2 weeks I increased my days working out from 2 to 3 and after 5 weeks the improvement in my mobility is very noticeable. I am even able to do exercises on the floor, which I thought would not be possible due to my knee issues. This I credit to their focus on your abilities and how to improve your fitness levels. I would highly recommend Anthony Gillespie of Best Practice and his team to anyone who has mobility or other health issues that they feel inhibits them from doing any form of exercise. This was me nearly 6 weeks ago now. Thank you Anthony and your great team of trainers.

    I worked at Best Practice 2014 - 2016 whilst I was completing my 2nd and 3rd year of Uni in Exercise and Sport Science. Anthony provided a lot of support and guidance that greatly assisted in my learning and developing as a coach. Anthony is always trying to keep it exciting and helping everyone reach their goals, and as a result has created a really great community to be involved in.

    As a former elite / National sports coach, I am fully aware of the importance of having a great mentor and motivator; as well as someone who truly knows what the hell they are doing. After a number of years of not following my own guidelines and tried and true methods (getting fat and lazy), I decided to turn to Anthony, to reignite my discipline and consistency - through simple ACCOUNTABILITY. Anthony and I put together a program, and with his direction, I committed to provide Anthony regular updates. Anthony also made regular contact with me, to ensure I was honouring the process, and my own commitment. I am now feeling and looking the fittest I have in well over 10 years. As we all know, results only come through doing the small things - day in, day out. It's called DISCIPLINE. I can honestly say, that it was with Anthony's help (technically and holistically), that I have found that old disciplined and fun approach to feeling and looking good again. He has just the right balance of knowing how to kick you in the butt, while at the same time, telling you, "you've got this." Anthony's combined knowledge and genuine care, are second to none. Anthony truly gives a damn.
