Engaged couples, be wary of making reception plans here. My partner and I have been held to a contractual clause for over a year relating to cancellation policies for a wedding reception which has no regard for the current COVID19 pandemic climate. During times of great crisis is when you will truly get to gauge the calibre of an organisation. We have tried to be reasonable and have already tried to reschedule our wedding with them once before, however we have now established that we will simply not be able to have a proper wedding in QLD and have had to move the wedding to Victoria where my partner's family live so that they can be there. Tattersall's have flatly refused to provide a partial refund of the deposit and have advised that we will have to spend this deposit in the Club itself. The deposit is a lot of money to us and that money would help greatly in organising our reception in Victoria. It saddens us that the organisation lacks the empathy in this climate to negotiate an exit of this clause - even just a partial refund for a couple who are trying to start their lives together. Absolutely one of the best experiences for service quality, and food wine choices I've had for some while. Beautiful ambiance, old world charm. Simply delightful. Highly recommend.

Opulence on point. Bars, restaurants, a library, gym, Olympic sized pool, billiard tables, ridiculously comfy leather lounge chairs, office spaces, a library, a cellar and accommodation. Just a few of the offerings at Tattersalls. Bookings are an absolute must and dress codes apply. Access is strictly members and guests only, guaranteeing you a drama free experience and the opportunity to relax into your surroundings. They also have limited accommodation and members get subsidies on parking.

Absolutely wonderful wedding experience at Tattersalls Club. Firstly, the club itself is extremely beautiful and regal to make you feel like royalty on your wedding day. Tattersalls has so many locations for photos such as the library, the members bar, the dining precinct, balcony, hallways and it’s hotel rooms. The complimentary hotel room for the bride/groom is extremely clean and smells so fresh. (Must say though the bedroom lighting is very yellow and the members bar is bright when you take photos so definitely invest in extra lighting if you want to alter the ambience) The service staff were bubbly and friendly during our wedding menu tastings and on the wedding day. The front desk staff were extremely helpful with advice on Brisbane city, to our guests upon arrival and provided trolleys to make transporting items easier. Patrice the wedding coordinator was a delight to work with to make our wedding dreams come to life as she was easy to communicate with, so accommodating to all our ideas and worked hard to ensure the wedding flowed smoothly. The food is delectable - we had the option of lamb shank or steak for main and 3 months on our guests still talk about how it is the best quality/taste dinner they have ever had at a wedding. Overall extremely satisfied with our wedding experience at Tattersalls Club and definitely the easiest choice we made for our wedding!

Very friendly service, excellent banquet menu for the special function cooked to perfection.

I went as an invited guests with a member and have to say what a place of great history and tradition. As the member said they will never make places like this again such was the grand scale of the establishment.

It is a great old and soon be modern establishment to dine in. Menu is limited but the oysters and steak dishes are of great quality to enjoy and the Christmas Pudding was devine. Staff and services were good and we always enjoyed it.

Quite simply the best business man's club in Queensland.

What a night out with great friends and excellent whisky. Tattersalls Club was a new experience for me and the food and whole experience was definitely worth it. We had the privilege of drinking six Highway Man whiskies and were given a bottle to take home. I highly recommend the club and their experiences.

The best club in town by far for many reasons, including its ideal location, ambience, impressive member's bar, regular activities and many interest groups. But I love it most because they have a very low staff turnover so when you walk in the staff know you by name. The food is consistently good, excellent cellar, amazing top floor pool and huge fitness centre (with Pilates, Boxing, Water Aerobics etc.) quiet guest rooms (as good as any 5-Star hotel in Brisbane), function rooms to suit all occasions, full-sized snooker tables, and my favourite: the members' library. Thank you to all who make it happen!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice sized room, spa bath, excellent location right on the Mall. Guests also get to use some facilities of the Club such as the pool and bar.

I was lucky enough to spend a night at this gorgeous old world club. I haven't been there for about 30 years, but it's still beautiful. After a drink at the bar, we migrated to The Conservatory Restaurant and was greeted by Paolo. The service he provided was second to none, and when they didn't have the wine we asked for, he went and searched for another one that was superb. The steak was THE BEST I have had since being back in Australia. The meal was nothing short of fantastic! Can't wait to go back.

Good club staff service, the health centre is a real benefit for its patrons. The complex's interior has varnished wood highlights, green marble panelling, and heritage memorabilia.

The best bar in Brisbane if you score an invite (members only). Beer in pewter mugs just hits different and great wine and whiskey list.

Old world charm with modernised appointments. Very clean, comfortable room but very noisy aircon! Excellent attentive staff.

Booked a tour of the venue for our upcoming wedding. The location was through a public mall and then we were told that we could not have a tour that we had booked in because of a dress code that was not communicated to us. They were only viewings available during the week and we had taken time off work and paid for parking, they didn’t even go through the brochure in the lobby with us. Needless to say I would not trust my wedding planning with someone who can’t even plan a simple tour!

Of all the exclusive clubs in Brisbane, this is by far my favourite. It earns this because of its unique dining experience, amazing private dining rooms, and quality wine selections. I have attended many functions here and been delighted by each experience. The parking access alone pays for the membership fee, and it's always good knowing you have a place to call home when visiting the city

A beautiful club with a rich history and modern attitude with excellent service. The restaurant was particularly excellent serving us excellent meals despite the late hour.

Nice place for an event, but food service at this particular event was a bit short. For an establishment of this calibre, one would not expect to have to raid other tables for basic cutlery.

No air conditioning in room. No laundry service despite it being listed in the services directory. No room service on a Sunday after 7. Rooms are lovely and the showers are incredible.

Have been going here for about seven years now, very welcoming friendly professional staff, great atmosphere, stunning views, and overall an amazing experience, if you ever get the opportunity to go to a mother’s day or Father’s Day or another special event like Christmas, it is always so spectacular, just went to the mother’s day high tea and it was by far the best one I’ve ever been to, very kind staff and great food and alcohol! Something for everyone

Atmosphere, staff and location of Tattersall's Healy Room are the greatest drawcard for a lunch. And, once upon a time , the food was wonderful. The food now, on the other hand...is very average. One family lunch, a couple of weeks ago ..dissapointed with quality , taste and presentation. Maybe an "Off " day in the kitchen. Mum was asked not to complain. Mum didn't. For ladies lunch today...very average again. I have never had a Bruschetta as I had today...thick slices of tomato ( not diced, thick slices )on a slab of bread with a strip of melted cheese ( ? ) on top and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and a basil leaf... Mains, again, average and disappointing... Maybe third time lucky ? Hope so. Sue Wrigley
