Used bloody Band-Aid in salad. I went to Soul Origin Chermside Westfield food court on Sunday 19th September 2021 at 12:30pm. I purchased the 3 salad bowl with falafel salad, chicken and chorizo salad and marinated beef. After about 4 mouth fulls of salad I noticed something strange amongst it, at first I though it was a sauce packet, I flicked it with my fork to discover it was a used Band-Aid! I immediately felt sick and presented this to the staff, the young girl offered to replace it.... why would anyone want more salad from a tray of salad that's had some ones dirty Band-Aid tossed around with it. I told the young girl, no I don't want a new salad, I feel very sick. She didn't seem stressed about it, like this is something that happens all the time. I received a refund and left feeling disgusted and nauseous. I assume they continued to serve the contaminated batch of salad to the public for the rest of day, considering the staffs first thought upon seeing the Band-Aid in the salad was to offer a new salad. I believe the salads here are made in house, so it seems the Band-Aid has come form one of the staff at the Soul Origin Chermside food court. I'm very concerned for the public eating at this place as there food health safety standards seem to be very poor. Anyway I have filed a complaint to the QLD food safety authority about this incident. Update - I reached out via the soul origin website as they asked me in their reply. It’s almost been a year and no one has contacted me. They obviously don’t care.

Last week I’ve been to Soul Origin next to Whoolies and everything was absolutely amazing. The food, the quality, fresh and full of flavour. The customer service was great! So when I was at Westfield Chermside I’ve decided to go again to Soul Origin. For my surprise there was another one next to MC Donald’s. I thought I had a good experience and would have it again. Unfortunately, the attendant was with a cranky face, and she was only putting heaps of salad and poorly adding the meat. Obviously I know you have to balance the proportion on a business, but she was putting really few pieces of meat. I had to be asking for meat for every choice I was making. Could you please add some chicken to it? And she was pretending to add some and just salad basically was there. When eating my meal, it was not fresh, the chicken was dry and it was not tasty. Really disappointing. Definitely not recommending the place next to Mc Donald’s, and definitely recommending the one next to Whoolies.

Bought an almond croissant, looked nice, took it home to enjoy with my coffee. It was old, dry and rubbery. I tried to eat it, but gave up after a second bite and threw it outside for the birds 🐦. They wouldn't eat it either. They should have named their shop, "Sole Origin," because it tasted like an old Thong. I was conned and totally ripped off. The saddest thing is, I was right outside Woolworths and could have bought a better croissant there for a fraction of the price. My advice is to avoid Sole Origin.

I ordered a chorizo and egg roll from here. Very quickly ended up having a lot of stomach issues after. Escalated after an hour. First thing I ate that day. Last thing I ate that day. Not cool.

Fake advertising, get a plate full of salad from beneath a plate filled with salad and meat/veg etc on top. Justifying the bowl of salad with hardly anything else by saying its a 'salad bar' when questioned is really just fake and bad product to consumers. Customers are being hard done by you You have dishes named something else than salad, why is that even, if its just a salad bar. Immature staff also have an attitude every time we've been there, as if they are untouchable. Bad experience at this business multiple times, i wont ever recommend it

I just had the most terrible experience ordering food from here. The young Asian girl was totally obnoxious when I requested my salad be portioned correctly after receiving terrible service last time I visited. She rolled her eyes at me and became very argumentative and made me feel very uncomfortable. As someone who goes to a lot of different Soul Origin stores. So then I asked to speak to the owner about how she made me feel ( as ahe claimed to be the manager) and the service I received. He stood there with his arms folded showing totally negative body language and would not look me in the eye at all. Just shocking service across the board from both the Asain girl and the owner

I came to make a review and saw all the negative comments that are 7-8 months old by now. From my experience they've listened to the criticism and I had a nice lunch with plenty of meat and "good stuff" in the salad I ordered. The guy with the curly hair and blonde highlights had great energy and fantastic, friendly customer service. This was my first time here but I'll be back

Literally just saw you people spray windex over the food to clean the glass. So great job spraying people’s food with chemicals I guess.

Long gone, apparently, are the days of an actual fillet of chicken schnitzel on their panini. Sandwich was tiny, bland, stale and disappointing. Definitely not worth the $13.50 I spent on it. Ended up throwing it away and getting something else.

Sister & I got coffees, my sisters was spot on. Mine was far from it. Was not close to tasting like an iced mocha and it had a dome lid. :(

They don't really care. Small wraps compared to other souls around Brisbane. Didn't know any deals. The manager seemed meh.

Food was good, but I had to deal with a young and slim lady that was all but friendly. Very rude and no customer service trained at all. I understand that working on a 31/12 might be frustrating but if cant do it properly then do not take the job. Btw, this is the shop located in the main food court.

I love this place, whenever I come to Chermside it's a treat to visit. The large salad will fill almost anyone with healthy high quality food !

friendly staff but a tad expensive. Ordered a toasted chorizo & egg roll, it had a soft brioche bun with big chunks of chorizo. The egg was omelette like, although a bit thin. The coffee I ordered was a large caramel, most places will throw another shot into a large, As the coffee was 70c more expensive than the smaller size. Overall not bad.
