😠 Go to the Sleeman Centre at cnr of Tilley and Old Cleveland instead. My family were told to leave because I wouldn't share my medical status with a shot nosed kid behind the counter. Apparently they DO NOT HAVE to discriminate but they instead CHOOSE to, he tells us. Great customer service. Never... People often mention pool, swim, equipment, staff,

Well maintained centre, always clean. The water temperature in the pool is always comfortable, not cold. The kids have a fantastic mini water park with slides to play on. There is always a lifeguard on duty to keep things safe. The cafe sells decent food and snacks with plenty of undercover seating. There is also a state of the art gym and an indoor pool for recovering and learning swim. Lots of parking and well priced.

Good gym, not too busy and good range of equipment and classes. Only issue that on multiple occasions I’ve walked in to a group of people “jerking off”, I understand that people with physical impairments attend to this gym, which is lovely, but my daughter was quite disturbed to the point where I had to wash her eyes out with soap, leaving her with permanent blindness in her left eye. Not to mention staff are rude and oblivious to this behaviour and often join in.

Fantastic facilities. Please consider 24 hour opening times now that the second gym is closing :(

The gym has great weight equipment, though the weights section can feel a bit cramped during peak hours. The gym is well-maintained, with members cleaning equipment after their workouts. The cardio section offers some unique machines worth exploring. Nonetheless, the bikes and electronic gear could benefit from an update, particularly in terms of compatibility with modern smartwatches such as Apple and Android devices. Friendly staff and the showers and toilets are clean. Plenty of parking.

Always clean and friendly. Plenty of development going on but parking still ok. Great facility overall. Staff friendly. Would be even better if it was 24 hours.

A swimming pool in which you're not allowed to swim!!! It's true. I took a young man who can't use his legs. We were told that he was only allowed to walk in the indoor pool, to avoid collisions lol. I explained he can only swim slowly using one arm. We were told we had to use the cold outdoor pool. Let that sink in. A YOUNG MAN WITH A DISABILITY WAS TURNED AWAY BECAUSE YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO WALK IN THE INDOOR SWIMMING POOL. THE YOUNG MAN IN QUESTION CAN'T USE HIS LEGS. CLOWN WORLD. Finally, shout out to the highly obnoxious rude scowling lady staff, I love the way they speak down to you, even before I discovered that we couldn't swim in the pool. If they were to ever smile there is a very real danger that their faces might crack.

Excellent gym with wide range of equipment. Depending time of day, usually don’t have to wait for equipment. Friendly staff and excellent trainers, reasonably priced. Lucky to have such a wonderful facility in the area. New renovations happening, love that they’re modernising!

Beautiful, organised and fully equipped sport centre. For someone who worked in the customer service industry for over 15 years I have to say I am absolutely astonished by the kindness and availability of all the staff. They really go that extra mile to make everyone feel happy and comfortable. Would recommend to all family and friends for sure Well done guys!

Great 50m pool. Open area, lots of sun (but plenty of shade too if needed), not cluttered, heaps of lanes, easy access and parking pretty good. Multi pass access makes it easy. Looking forward to the new shower being ready to use as the kiddy bathroom is too hot.

I have been swimming at Clem Jones for years and i have decided that I need to share my experiences over the last few months. Firstly every time I go to lap swim all pools are full of either squad training, kids in both pools and aqua. Today was especially bad. I came down 3 times to get a swim in and each time there’s no room for the lap swimmers. The only time I have been able to get a lane is at 7:30pm at night, which is ridiculous. My question is why are kids in both the 50 meter and the 25 meter at the same time? It’s so frustrating. If I swim at night the pool is cloudy and looks dirty. Not very happy.

Went for granddaughters birthday party. Was awesome the kids had a ball and so glad lifeguards there to supervise. Only problem was very little shade to sit under, would like to see more shady seating
