I don’t think the images I took do justice to the food because my goodness, the food is just absolutely stunning. Delicious. Worth every penny. And the service (despite them being understaff because it was a busy night) was just beyond satisfying - they were gold. Hospitality at its best. Friendly, warm, welcoming, efficient. I really can’t fault them, at all. If I could give the team, the food, the service more than 5 stars here, I would. 10 stars for each category. So get down there. Experience it for you, bring your family and your friends. Heck, bring your neighbours and colleagues. It’s the perfect place for celebrations and for a large group who wants to enjoy amazing food and company. Even a memorable date is recommended at Nostimo Restaurant Bar. Worth it. I paid $25 for a pizza which was burnt and cold, pork belly was just chunks of fat and the pizza was dry, very disappointing as the place looked nice and staff friendly. Maybe an off night but at $25 a pizza you can’t have an off night.

We enjoyed a Saturday lunch on the balcony surrounded by olive tress. The service was friendly, food was delicious and the extensive wine list offered plenty of options with lots of Greek wines. The recent Club refurbishment is brilliant also.

We were a table of 6 celebrating Father's Day. The wait staff made us feel very welcome and the food was fantastic. If you wish to try Greek cuisine I really recommend Nostimo.

Delicious meal, but very, very small portions for the price. Paid $35 for four (amazing) mouthfuls of pork belly and no real substantial sides (half a beautifully poached pear, about a tablespoon of pureed pumpkin and some charred greens). It would be more of an appropriate size for an entree. We would recommend the pizzas though - they were great and a very decent sized portion for the price ($25). For a small restaurant, it was very noisy. My partner and I found ourselves struggling to hear eachother across the table. Perhaps some floor rugs or soundproofing on the ceiling might absorb some of the noise? The wait staff were helpful and attentive, and the food quality was excellent. Aside from the disappointing portion size we really enjoyed the night. I'd just recommend ordering an entree if you wish to leave sated.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. We had the pork on the spit (special of the day) and lamb shoulder as well as prawns and octopus. All was great, definitely recommended.

Was heading through brisbane, was craving Greek food and this place came up on Google. We got the lamb and chicken lunch special. I have to say it was some of the best food I've had in a very looooong time. The chicken and lamb were cooked perfectly! The Greek salad was delicious, tomatoes that actually had flavour! And they actually give you a decent serve of tzatziki, not just a little speck on the side. But the chips, omg when was the last time you actually had crisp chips? I'll be dreaming about these chips for years. Great value for the lunch special. This place will become a must on any of my trips through Brissy.

We have eaten here quite a few times now and each and every meal has been equally fabulous. The atmosphere and decor compliment the cuisine and the service. They do excellent Greek fare and a good wine list to match. Reasonable prices, all designed to share. Highly recommended.

Food was outstanding as always even considering how busy it was last night the calamari and halloumi chips were divine full of authentic flavours. The slow cooked lamb a favourite with everyone along with the Greek salads breads made us feel like we were back in Greece for the night. Great atmosphere as always with the live Greek music. We now have friends who have told us how impressed they were and can't wait to go back! If you are wanting the ideal place to bring friends for a great traditional vibe with an added bonus of amazing Greek food look no further!!!

Once seated it took awhile for someone to take our order. Food was nice but seemed like they were short staffed as we ordered a drink which they forgot about and then when i asked for the drinks menu to order a hot drink after dinner they gave us the food menu and never came back to take my drink order. When we went to pay we had to wait 10 minutes and when my husband said he wants to pay to the senior male waiter who walked passed twice he put his finger up and said just wait a minute No apology for the wait or even asked how our dinner was and just took our money. They seemed to be busy with a function out the front and not enough coverage to the public customers. Our waitress was nice but seemed a little stressed. Nice food but lacked a good standard of customer service.

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration. The dishes are wide-ranging, cooked to perfection and well presented. Importantly, the menu caters to all tastes and needs. Enhancing great food and drinks is the amazing customer service. Staff are engaging, knowledgeable, attentive and courteous. Nostimo delivers the full dining experience. We had a disappointing experience here which was surprising considering the good reviews. There were plenty of waiters for a half empty restaurant but they weren't on the ball as it was hard to even place a drink order and when we did we had to wait a while and watch our drink go out to the wrong table before eventually making it to us. The waiter we had also couldn't answer a basic question of whether it was better to share dishes - perhaps he was new. We had asked to sit outside but were told this wasn't possible yet those tables remained empty all night. The saving grace was the excellent lamb and mains but the baklava was dry and bland. At the end of the night we asked our main waitress to take a family photo of us, she said yes, and then completely left us hanging.

What a brilliant place. Staff were really friendly, no problems with a small child and high chair. Very patient when we ordered. Food was delicious! We bought a lot of plates to share and drinks and the cost was really good. Thanks for giving our family a great memory for 2022.

I've eaten at a few Greek restaurants and this, my friends, is one of my favs! Ive now visited twice and it hasnt disappointed on either visit. You MUST try here at least once. I visited on a Sunday for a midday lunch seating and sat outside (verandah). There's also inside seating. For 2 cocktails, 2 beers, 2 entrees + extra pita, 2 mains, 1 dessert, the bill was about $220. Updated menu always on website. TIP: You must at least get the Saganaki cheese and Tzatziki dip, Greek staples. Cons: None. Maybe you always eat too much and leave with a food coma 🤭 Pros: ...oh so many, here's my summary.. 🤵Service - always impeccable. Friendly, quick, attentive. 🌇Atmosphere - always clean, tidy, nice vibes, not too loud, so can still have a convo. The venue is gorgeous. 🍸Drinks - very large selection, a lot of Greek wines and beers, a page of cocktails. I had the lychee martini (x2) and was delicious! 🍛Food - yummyyyyy. Every single dish was delicious. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and seasoned, large portions. Great range of dishes! 💰Value/Cost - about what you expect for a decent greek restaurant. Really good value as large food portions. They do have banquet options n weekday lunch specials, which are even better value for money.

Lunch sets at $25 each from Wed to Fri were well worth it in my opinion. Meats were very well seasoned and tender. The sides were great, especially the fries and salad. Lemon potatoes were too sour for our taste but paired well with the lamb. Wife and I had a great meal here today!

We came here to celebrate my fiance's birthday and ordered Apollo Banquet which everyone loved! The service staffs were amazing! The attention to detail and helpful recommendations were spot-on. Thank you to the service staff Sara who added humor to our dining experience, making it truly enjoyable. Leading up to the date, Anna has been wonderfully proactive in offering menu suggestions and guidance regarding parking options. A perfect balance of attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our meal. Highly recommended!! We will definitely come back for more.

I dine here often but this was the first time I brought along new customers to Nostimo. Everything was brilliant as usual and my friends just as impressed as I am on each visit. Front of house is always just so good...attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble. Nikolais is always keen to share his wine knowledge. All staff wonderful and the FOOD!!...Incredible as always..thank you chefs! Can't wait for the next visit. This place holds a very special place for us as it was founded by my husbands family. Highly recommend becoming a member for the benefits also. The perfect restaurant for food, family vibes and service.

Place is good but not really that stylish just a basic feel like a club, food was nice but nothing special and the service was great from one waitress and the other teddy not so friendly. Not one greek person in sight with the service staff or kitchen, so lack authenticity, but the food is nice but nothing really 5 star.

Wonderful again. We had a large group of 15 including kids. Service from the team (Alex) was excellent with great recommendations for the food and wine and also ensuring we did not over order. A great night out with the family again at Nostimo.

Dined here (if you could say dined) Saturday night. What an absolute disgrace. Food tough and inedible. Had to order more dips and bread as the portions were ridiculously small. Lamb shoulder $39 was like rubber and the size of the Pork Baklava is so small for a $26 entree. Lets not even talk about the tough cold octopus entree $20. To top it all of - to hear the chefs abusive language was shocking to say the least i'm sure they were drunk. This place is over priced and the food verging on inedible. Dont bother going.

Outstanding new menu. Delicious Greek flavours. Portions are what you expect from good authentic Greek hospitality. Our Sunday lunch was incredible. Fall off the bone lamb, tasty chicken souvlakia, whole snapper and so much more. We loved it and will be back FOR SURE! The kitchen here is producing dishes better than places costing twice the price.

Avoid the banquet at all cost Really not worth it, trust me when you see this, I wish someone had warned me before this. But order single dishes would be so much better and cheaper. Service was shocking. We got to restaurant at 6:25pm, ordered banquet for 4 and drinks, 3 courses comes out so fast that literally 1 min apart, we thought it was going to be quick meal .at 8:20 we still waiting for our mains. We were drinking but still 1hr20mins to wait in between meals is shocking..during these we had ask waiter/Waitresses 4 time where our meals was. Everytime we got the answer is coming. Eventually meal came, its all pre cooked meal didnt understand why it took so long. Also they tried to charge us extra for some peta bread and dips..I can not believe it, the serve they give us was so small!!!!! for the price you charge, its really not worth it..been too so many greek places and this is the worst one I have been to.

12 of us had the pleasure of sharing a Greek banquet with matching Greek wines. Wow, what experience. We were made to feel like we were in Greece. The food was superb and previously, the wines kept coming noon stop and it was great to try wines you would only get in Greece. Costa looked after us like we were family. Great way to get friends together and celebrate anything even if its just memories of past trips to Greece. Well done Nostimo team.

I love everything about this place, the vibe is cosy and intimate, the music is unexpected but perfect, and the staff are so helpful and lovely. The food is absolutely divine and I highly recommend trying their take on an espresso martini. New favourite date night spot.

Great foodie restaurant in the Clayfield neighborhood of Brisbane. Brothers Dane and Morgan serve up modern Australian fare with a Mediterranean twist. We split one of their artisan leaf salads and we each selected our own personal-size pizza. Jackson, our server, recommend a nice red wine that we loved. If we lived in Brisbane this would definitely be one of our go to places. Helpful Hint: Check out the restaurant for weekly specials and special events.

On point, everything, absolutely wonderful. The food and wine, the service (Sam hats off to you!), and the music (Calum thank you for the atmosphere). Capriccio entre, flank steak main, and burnt butter pumpkin pie with unique candied sage leaves for desert all paired with a wonderful Shiraz - made for a wonderful night :-).

First of all, the front of house staff at Wooden Horse are always fantastic. Friendly and efficient and all that good stuff, but also always ready to chat about the menu and recommend favourite drinks. They set the warm atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The food never fails to impress. This time our table enjoyed steak, chicken, ravioli and some delectable desserts (that lemon merengue is to die for.) Everything was sensational. The owners and chefs, two brothers, clearly have such a passion and knowledge for food, it absolutely shines through every part of the dining experience. One of our favourite places to dine in Brissy.

One of the best Greek restaurants in Brisbane! Service is great - staff were all very friendly, happy & welcoming. Food was good - had the Traditional banquet for $65 per/person which is a great price for what you get. Food came out really quick but also at the right times (delaying the food as if we had ordered entrees, mains, dessert etc) - they definitely know what they're doing. Sat in the outdoor area but was kept nice and warm with the heaters & serenaded by a live musician. Atmosphere was amazing. Great value for money & tasty food! Will definitely be back!

What great food! Yup it was very loud with a Greek band playing, so it was hard to have a conversation with my wife, but I can’t argue about the super waitress that looked after us or the great tasting food. The belly dancer was also awesome.

We used the private dining room available to patrons of Nostimo and found it to be a good experience. Conversations were able to be private and any laughter or noise was contained so as not to disrupt the wider room. The delivery of the entrees was a little slow but that would be my only criticism. The banquet selection was well cooked and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful to all. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Nostimo to anyone looking for a relaxed place for lunch.

A very relaxed outdoor space, sheltered from the sun and breeze but spacious and well naturally lit. A very diverse menu. The food we ordered was wonderfully presented and tasted very fresh and authentic. Each dish was clearly different and just done very well. Even the classic gGeek salad with feta, cucumber, olives etc... was remarkably good. The service was professional but a little slow, we had trouble getting attention at times. In saying that the food came out at very appropriate times. Would recommend, and hope to return.

Had lunch here last Friday with my wife, son and his partner for my wife's birthday. Honestly could not fault the service, menu selection, wine or food. All meals were well presented, generous, fresh and tasty. Service was prompt and courteous without being intrusive. To top it off, my wife received a complimentary cocktail: a well made martini!

So accommodating when we arrived early for our reservation due to my error - seated us immediately. Food was amazing - highly recommend the Lamb Shoulder and Greek Potatoes. Our server was fantastic and never far away for drink refills, etc. Wonderful evening and will definitely be back.

This was our first time and for some reason I expected it to be less casual (I expected fancier dining experience) but it was more casual than I expected. This didn’t take away from the service or the food standard though. It was great. I will probably go more often now. All the food we shared was ample for our group of four and we were full by the end of the meal. We had the lamb, spinach and feta pastry, calamari, watermelon salad, stuffed zucchini, pita bread.

My one random feedback is that the floor in the interior dining room is INCREDIBLY slippery and I almost slipped in my heels a few times. Other than this tiny little critique I can't wait to come back and fine again. Thank you for being so accommodating on my birthday. The watermelon salad was my favourite! Although probably best lamb shoulder Ive eaten at any Greek restaurant in Brisbane and I've been to all of them!

It was a fantastic night! Food was great, reminded me of the food back in Greece! George and Christina - Maestro and singer created a great atmosphere, we even danced :-) We will not hesitate to recommend and come again Thank you
