Really nice theatre ! Many options for sitting. There is a bar inside you can get something to entertain yourself before the show or during intermission. The theatre is easy accessible by public transport

I've always had a great experience seeing shows at the the lyric theatre. the attendants are very friendly and helpful. you can usually find a paid park underneath at the cultural centre. I do wish the seats were a little more comfortable as you do start to feel it into a long show.

Great service by theatre attendees, shop and bar staff were a bit rude and indifferent. More room in a Jetstar economy seat than in Lyric theatre. Felt like I was sitting on a strangers lap. Too hot the air con is no where near strong enough by the end all I could smell was B.O of the people around me and hearing them complain about the heat. The shows are great. The facilities could improve.

Absolutely luved seeing Moulin Rouge, it was magnificent of what I could see of it! We had greatly hindered view as stage protruded below. People attending our Matinee Session on Sunday were frustrated and angry and complaining and asking guests in front 2 rows who were really leaning forward to see full stage they were obscuring our view almost totally at times except for outer sides! When I called QTAC to reschedule our day & time the operator never advised choosing Balcony seats would have hindered view! I checked our printed tickets when we got home and no mention of hindered view. I was really disappointed as not cheap seats and would have bought stall seats should I have known. I should complain to QTAC and ask for refund. Why sell tickets fully well knowing you will disappoint your patrons? I feel like we should rebook stall seats and go back and see it properly as just hearing the singing was not good enough!

The theatre is beautiful. There were elevators for assessablity, you may have to wait in line for them. I wish they didn't allow food in the theatre as it was distracting to hear people chew ๐Ÿ˜• the show was loud enough most the time to block this issue out. The chairs to me were comfortable enough even with Fibromyalgia and curves I watched the play, Hamilton. An absolute blast to watch so well designed and preformed.

We went to see Frozen. The facilities were great but the staff at every point were amazing. Our 7yo is autistic with multiple challenges but all the staff in every area bent over backwards to assist us. There is no room for complaint and I extend my sincere thanks to everyone there

Ive been lucky enough to see a few shows here and they were a blast! The theatre was really big, and the seats were comfortable with a great view of the stage! Also, the sound really resonated throughout the entire theatre. I wish I could visit more often ๐Ÿ˜‚

Due to being on crutches we had to change our seats from up stairs to the edge of Row N. We still had a great view and thoroughly enjoyed the show - Moulin Rouge.

This theatre is no where near as well equipped as the best theatres in Melbourne as far as stage machinery goes. They tried to get around that with huge digital screens, but sometimes they doesn't compensate fully. The way that the movement of the audience is done, especially when exiting the auditorium, leaves a lot to be desired. It's a real people crush. On top of that there are so many staircases to traverse, so finding the right one can be a challenge when leaving.

Loved "Moulin Rouge". Everybody... the performers, musicians, lighting technicians, ushers, shop and bar attendants, cleaning staff... were amazing. Every one of them contributed to a most enjoyable experience. The set was spectacular. The songs were catchy and familiar. Such a clever choice superbly adapted to tell the story. It is a great show! Congratulations to all who made it possible. Bravo!

Have had the privilege of seeing many performances at the Lyric Theatre over 20-odd years. There isn't a bad seat in the house and I believe the acoustics rival the Concert Hall. ALL of the floor staff are, and have been, incredibly kind and helpful, always ensuring a wonderful experience.

We went to the 9 to 5 show and loved it. The passion skill, voice and music was world class. Row three in the middle of balcony 1. Great position to see and hear everything. Seats were comfortable, staff were friendly. Next time I'm going to try one of those Gin slushies at interval. ๐Ÿ˜€

Had some great experiences at qpac. There is always something exciting performing. It is best to book in advance for the best seats. Lovely theatre.

Fantastic night out for the whole family. Great productions, easy access via public transport, good dining options around. You can also go for a stroll along the river along South Bank gardens that are beautiful day and night.

Went to see Cinderella and was disappointed with show. Have seen much better musicals than this one I'm afraid. Cast voices were amazing but acting not so much. Delivery of lines not so good to catch the gags. I thought the Prince was ordinary at best. The sets were great and I can't wait to see the new renovations finished. Long overdue.

Cosy theatre, ushers are great, seats were comfy. Train station across the road makes it 3asy to commute without worrying about parking . Central to buses also. We enjoyed our night.

The show was fantastic, the seats typical theatre seating. Unfortunately there is no audio loop in the theatre and the headphones supplied to a hearing impaired member of out party did not work, they couldn't hear the dialogue so missed all the "one liners" but said they enjoyed the music and the dancing.

Always have a fabulous time, the recent ballet was visually stunning, orchestra & performance, brilliant. The theatre caters for everyone, including wheel chair access, you can eat there or at many of the nearby restaurants at South Bank. Catch public transport right across the road.

Great theatre to watch shows. Seating is well set out and comfortable. Saw the show 9 to 5 which we were seated in the stalls, 5 rows from the front, dead centre and the view was great. Bar and food areas located inside Qpac, great night out.
