Cannot recommend Indooroopilly General Practice enough. Dr Jenny Conn is our family GP and she is fantastic! Down to earth, really listens and cares. The whole team take the time to make sure you are well cared for and not just rushed through the door.

Very rude Reception staff and got treated very poorly when I called to book an appt while a family member had moderate Covid symptoms. Reception staff totally lack empathy and provides very sub-standard experience during such challenging times!! I understand that we need to be respectful to staff but, be sure to train staff to be respectful to patients and their family members too. Absolutely pathetic and disappointing!!

I asked dr Richie Jaggi a referal to se a pediatrician to my child. Even having medicare I had to pay 100 dolars for the GP. The doctor recommended a pediatrician for my 5 year old, I went there paid 370 dollars to hear that she doesn't do behavior assessment in children younger than 6 years. A total waste of money and time. I felt robbed to be honest. I never had to pay for gp for me nether for my child in NSW.

My brother was able to seek and receive permission for me to see Dr John Denzin, on my return to living in Brisbane after 30 yrs north. He is the perfect GP for me. Excellent approach, excellent doctoring. The front desk staff are very good at their work as well.

Given that this now a private billing practice, the service needs severe improvement. For the money paid, to not have test results communicated, to not be contacted that they’re ready, and to only have a 1 hour window each day to call up to check them, is abysmal. Despite the recent rebranded to a private practice, the level of service is not better than the bulk billing GPs around the area.

Dr Barbara YOUNG was so lovely to speak to. She seems to have the best interest for her patients. Definitely a doctor I will pay to see in future 😊

I presented in severe pain due to a cold and having developed throat ulcers. I advised I had not slept the past two nights as a result and was also dehydrated due to the pain of drinking fluids. Despite this, I was not prescribed decent pain relief to assist me in dealing with the cold and resulting ulcers. I get the whole codeine thing - but I have never used any illicit drugs(in fact I don't think I've ever had pain relief with codeine either) - but I was in severe pain and advised that Panadol etc were not showing any signs of helping me. Despite this the GP said paracetamol will be enough. I'm wincing in pain, unable to eat or drink. Tonight will be three nights in a row without sleep, water or food - all for the sake of not prescribing decent pain relief. I wonder what's more adverse to my health - not sleeping or drinking for 72hrs, or one round of codeine meds so I can rest, drink fluids and get through this? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Update: the very next day, due to the above issues I went to another local GP who prescribed pain relief immediately noting my situation. I took the tablets for two nights, was able to drink and sleep both nights, and am now on a far less painful road to recovery.

Checking in with the HotDoc app really sped up my appointment. Dr. Melanie is awesome. Experienced, friendly, practical and thorough. I have no hesitation recommending her.

Dr Denzin has been my family's GP for well over 20 years. As always, seeing him today was a delight. He is thorough and caring. Front desk staff do a wonderful job also.

Today I had a really positive experience with Dr Young at Indro General Practice. She was incredibly supportive, kind, patient and attentive with me. It was a breath of fresh air to access this care. I unfortunately had a negative experience with a previous GP and felt very lost recently which I explained. I didn’t feel rushed or judged when I was talking with Dr Young. I felt seen and heard. She also supported me having a friend to help me as the previous experience I had with another GP absolutely rattled me plus helped with some forms I needed Also, the practice is very well organised, clean, receptionist was really lovely! It was assuring to be somewhere that was well structured and organised. Even choosing the different type of appointments on HotDoc was so straight forward! Definitely worth the money to engage with good quality care. Thank you again Indro team. Looking forward to engaging again and getting on top of my care. I appreciate it a lot :)

Dr Young has helped me through a very difficult period.I felt quite abandoned by my original doctor and not really knowing which way to turn. A week before I saw Dr Young I was not in a good place mentally or physically. She listened and together we came up with plan. She never judged me or made me doubt myself. She encouraged me and celebrated the small wins. She always said be kind to myself. When I consider the myself 6 weeks ago I would have never thought I would be at this stage. I owe Dr Young a huge thanks for believing in me.

Just passing through Brisbane when I got crook. Set up appointment immediately and got in to see very good doctor very quickly. Problem diagnosed immediately and there's a pharmacy right there so, all in all, an excellent experience - very quick, effective, courteous and professional. Highly recommended!

This was my first visit to the centre. Dr Subramaniam was very patient and listened carefully about my problems and took all necessary steps for the treatment. Very impressed!

Found all staff helpful and cheerful. Medical advice, procedures and care to be first class. I imagine I will be with this practice for life now.

I was given a phone appointment with Dr Harley. Over the phone, a doctor can choose whether or not they prescribe antibiotics. If I had known this, I would have booked an in-person appointment. I have been a client of this medical centre for over a decade and have always received great service; however, I am currently sick and need antibiotics and thanks to Dr Harleys decision and the staff’s unawareness that he can choose not to prescribe medication over the phone, I will be unable to purchase any antibiotics today. I have contacted multiple medical centres around the area and none are available today, but all of them have stated that their doctors will prescribe medication over the phone. I will not be booking with Dr Harley again.

Took my mum to Dr. Nimalan today. Absolutely amazing, answered all our concerns. Didn't feel rushed. Thanks, would definitely recommend him.

We had a really long wait, and I’m hoping that doesn’t happen that often but Dr Jaggi was very apologetic about it; and main thing was that she was great with my little boy. She even called me a day later to make sure everything was ok with him. Felt well cared for. The receptionist were also friendly.

I am fortunate to maintain relatively good health but periodically I need to attend the Indooroopilly General Practice to seek medical assistance and attention from Doctor Jenny Conn. I cannot speak highly enough of the professional and personable attention provided by Doctor Conn. I also find the customer support staff at this Practice to be very pleasant and professional in the reception of patients visiting. Would highly recommend this General Practice to all comers!

My son needed a short notice appointment and we received thorough, kind, unrushed attention from Christine. I am very happy with the care at this practice.

I've been seeing both Dr Vickers and Dr Conn for a few years now. Both doctors have been warm, professional and simply phenomenal in their work. While appointments have a tendency to run a bit late, I don't mind at all because I think it's a reflection of the care and effort they put into their patients. Reception team are always lovely and helpful too!

I am extremely happy with this medical practice and in particular with my GP Dr Nimalan Subramaniam. He is supportive of my self care practices. As an RN I am very proactive with my health care. From my perspective we have a very positive partnership in my health care. I am sure he agrees.

Dr Watson and Dr Denzin are wonderful doctors that take the time to provide you with a comprehensive but easy-to-understand explanation on medical topics. I have been coming to this medical practice for over 26 years and I am truly grateful for the high level of continuous medical care I have received.

This was my fist experience of using Telehealth. The doctor rang on time, dealt with the issue efficiently, answered all my questions, gave clear advice and arranged a time for a follow up appointment. I am very happy with the way the practice managed my appointment.

We have recently moved to Brisbane and we are loving the overall health and support system from both Staff, and Doctors. I had to visit a few times for myself and for my kids and the Doctors were really highly cooperative and supportive. Listening to the patient's problem thoroughly in a really nice chat, and prescribing treatment in as simple terms as possible.

I was quite distressed and after not being able to get through on the phone I just turned up. I got an appointment with Dr Young quite quickly. I have seen her before and quite like her manner. She’s been quite a straight shooter and explains things well. She was patient and understanding and I left feeling heard and helped.

The doctors at the practice are all fantastic, but are usually running behind and the reception team doesn’t advise you of the wait time when you check in.

I walked in to the practice at 08.15am requiring medical support. Having moved countries recently I had no medical arrangements in place. After filling in the required documentation I was seen. Dr Nimalan Subramaniam attended and I was extremely satisfied with his professionalism and after he completed various tests he provided a diagnosis. A course of action was agreed and I feel confident that the problems I have been experiencing will resolve. I am very grateful to De Subramaniam and the Indooroopilly General Practice for being accessible and professional.

Dr Densen is by far the best Doctor I've been to! Very thorough and has looked after our family for many years. Couldn't fault him and would recommend him to anyone!!!

The practice is welcoming and the team friendly. Dr Denzin has seen me through a range of health issues and his skill and compassion has made each issue seem much, much less daunting.
