Been here a few times and not once disappointed! Great selection of beers, cocktails and mocktails plus menu caters for all special dietary requirements which is important for our big group ! :) Looove their frickles!!!

A great bar with a wide variety of tap beers and wine. A well rounded menu with bar food and nicely sized mains (no ridiculously sized meals just a focus on quality). I've always been able to get a table for myself but if you are a group its better to book ahead as it can get quite busy during peak bar times. I've generally always have had friendly service.

Brewsvegas brought me here for my first visit. Awesome venue with a lot of seating inside and out. So many taps giving plenty of beers to choose from. Hit up the cheese burgers for lunch and doubled them as we were hungry. The cheese on this thing was off the chain, never had a waterfall like this. The thiiick as pickles cut through the copious cheese and juicy double beef stack. Classic ketchup/mustard combo to bring it all home. Beers and burgers both really good so highly recommend!

Hands down my favourite place for lunch or a cheeky cocktail. Highlights on their menu are the sticky porky belly bites and the warmed Mt Zero olives if you’re after a nibble. Their burgers are the best in Mitchelton, and probably in my top 5 for Brisbane. A huge range of craft beers and cocktails, and a super friendly team on deck to serve you. Best of all, dog friendly!

Great food and great atmosphere. Staff were absolutely awesome. Menu was great and very versatile with vegetarian/vegan options that tasted great. Thanks guys and gals.

I like the outdoor areas and Blackwood street has a nice ambiance. Good range of beers, reasonable bar food, although I would rather the burgers came in healthier bun options. Very sugary tasting bread roll with my burger. The trickles are great!

Live locally, nice place to have a beer, unfortunately the last visit dealt with an extremely arrogant lady behind the bar when grabbing some takeaways, I guess customer service is not what it used to be...maybe the hospitality industry is not for you.

The ginger beer, oh my god, the ginger beer. Have one and tell me it's not the best you've ever had, go on...I'll wait..... P.s the food is pretty dope as well, try the pork bites!

Great locals bar with a really good selection of craft beers on rotation. Good for families and furry friends too. Can get pretty busy on weekends. Also for them take away beverages hit up The Bottleshop next door.

The beers are great, the food wasn't so good. Lamb shank with red wine rou that only tasted like watered down tomato paste 🙄. Other than that, the environment and atmosphere is great.

Easiest 5 star I have ever given. The staff are the tops, so friendly and professional. The food is delicious and the drinks are abundant. The only way this place could possibly improve is to host live music. I had so much fun celebrating my father in laws 50th here. I want to move to Mitchelton just to be closer to the Woods. Best restaurant around.

Been going to The Woods for a few years and absolutely love it - best food and best range of beers! Recently had my birthday here (25+ people) and everyone was SO impressed with the food and great service provided by all the staff. Thanks heaps to Hunter (and all of the team!) for making it such an easy process to organise, everyone had such a great time!

We lived in Mitchelton for 2 years and this place was our absolute go too and I had this review at 5 stars like it use to be. We got there to order take away and after spending a few minutes crouching to look at the clip on menus in the dark we ordered only to be handed new menus instead of saying sorry that’s our old one here please pick something new. the portion sizes are sad as this is apparently what a side of fries looks like. Besides that it’s good vibes and good drinks

Nice burger, the patty was cooked medium-rare which is hard to find these days. The staff were great and welcoming, but the tall chairs at my table were very uncomfortable.

Love our local bar! The take away deal is one of our weekly buys and we often enjoy an afternoon beer at the bar. The food is consistently delicious and the staff are really friendly. Great variety of drinks as well. Highly recommend.

Wow really impressed with this amazing little place! Fantastic food, great beers and even better cocktails! Not only that but they really care for their patrons, been a while since I’ve felt that in a venue. Appreciated all the little things that made hanging out that much more enjoyable! 🍻

Fantastic place with great beers and staff

Live locally and have dined in and had takeaway a number of times in the past and have always loved the food. The last two times (both takeaway) I was greeted by the front of house server (could not identify her by name but recall she had an accent) and found her to be very rude. Last time I ordered take away I was told 20 minutes but waited 45 and found the food less than ordinary, in particular the frickles were soggy and the serving size was appalling. I think we'll give Woods Bar a miss from now on.

Had a great time, nice background music. Staff was very friendly. The food was great. Really recommend the Sticky Date Pudding. What a great way to finish lunch.

If you go down to The Woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise. This place is a hidden treasure! There are inside and outside seating options depending on your mood. Has a relaxed and chilled vibe. Staff amazing. Food great. Cheeseburger THE BEST we’ve ever had. Great place for locals to catch up and have a cold one. Great range of boutique beers on tap… no XXXX in sight, lol! So glad we can call this our local!

Beautiful food! The flat breads are amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very warm inside on a hot night, couldn't feel aircon at all. Welcoming and friendly staff. Great atmosphere, caters to allergies and well priced. We can't wait to come back when the weather is a little cooler.👏 👌

As regulars here, we can't recommend The Woods Bar enough. Very friendly and attentive service, from a skilled, well-oiled team! The Espresso Martini's are the best I've had!!! Highly recommend the Pork Belly Bites and the Fattoush salad! There is such a great atmosphere too, which makes it our go to for a drink and bite to eat! We look forward to returning in 2024! Good selection of food and drinks, little expensive for the suburbs. Some meals are on the small side for the cost.. beef cheeks. Good flavour but the serve doesn’t represent the cost. Other meals are good value.

Love the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and a good banter with them. Food is good some days and a bit of a letdown on other days. I will always go back because the cocktails and beers and atmosphere is what I go for.

The food is amazing. Great service and chilled atmosphere. Highly recommended. I have been here 4 times and the food always has been great.

Four people had four different meals. All were excellent, but mine was the best. Beef Cheek Green Curry. Funny but the other three said I was wrong, they thought theres better. Great that foir meals could be so good.

Great vibe, good food. Would love to go more, but no real choice of beer for those who just like an old fashion traditional lager. All the beer options are crafty botanical recipe. Would be great to have a least one traditional option on tap.

It's a bit cramped but nice atmosphere and you can tell they put care into the food. Ordered a side of frickles on a whim and they were so tastey! Ended up being a highlight of the meal for us.

The food was good. Nice selection. Would be awesome to note on the menu if there are hot sauces added to items or a 🌶 rating as my daughter was a little limited with what she could eat. If we had realised, we would have ordered sauce on the side. Pork belly bites were awesome though and got us through!

Just a great venue for whatever occasion: be it a few weekend brews, casual Midweek lunch. The food more than satisfies and the beers are always interesting and rotating.

Awesome bar with a great selection of drinks and several craft taps to wash down some absolutely stellar food. Helps that the service is excellent and that the place is well arranged as well.

Always quick service, attentive staff and always helpful with their knowledge when you want to try a new brew. The food is always quick qnd tasty.

Brilliant beer selection although there was quite a few unavailable. Food was good albeit slightly above what I would call good value, by about $5 per main. Will return for sure.

Incredible spot! Such a rarity to have a boutique craft beer bar like this in the suburbs. Perfect food pairing whether you’re looking for a pub or restaurant menu. Great place to bring mates to spend the afternoon. I had the lamb shanks and I’d happily visit to have it every night of the week 😋 Also - try the Frickles, they are delicious!!!

The atmosphere is great. Food was mediocre Schnitzel was very dry. Beer was marketed under the wrong label eg Motorcycle oil was sold as a stout/porter/dark beer, but it is a very pale ale similar to "Stone and Wood Pacific Pale Ale".
