We went yesterday for my and my girlfriend’s birthday. To start they were really friendly upon our arrival. The service was 11/10 they actually care about customers and they’re really nice. Now the food was spectacular!!! The presentation of the dishes and the flavours were absolutely delicious. A great experience and definitely a come back!!!

An absolutely stunning restaurant on the river with glorious views. The decor is sophisticated and fresh, big tables great for group events. We ordered banquet one and was very impressed with the food, the calamari was delicious! There was a lot of food, we ended up having to take away most of the lamb. It was a shame we had to leave the table at 2 hours, it was rushed at the end but they got us tables at the bar so we could eat our dessert there.

We got the Aphrodite’s Table. This banquet cost $99 each and it was absolutely incredible value. Every single item was absolutely delicious and my word, there was so much food. Highly recommended.

Superb Experience Last night my friend and I arrived in the rain and Instantly we were whiskey to our table under the warm heaters in a cozy, warm and very dry beautifully location. The service team are simply incredible. Their knowledge of the menu and recommendations is like sunshine, everyone is here to help and fills the restaurant with a calm, helpful and very friendly vibe that only comes from exceptional training and a passion for exceptional customer service. The master chefs appear to have plucked the fresh oysters out of the ocean just minutes before being served (my mouth is watering thinking about them now). The octopus was tender and full of flavour as everything else we ate. Tips, spreads, chicken, pita, olives, skewers, eggplant chips and yet we kept saying we should stop…. And didn’t. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert, which is a first for me but we will be back to enjoy another amazing dinner and work our way through the menu.

We went here for my birthday yesterday. We had a wonderful lunch. Was so delicious! We had the 1/2 lamb shoulder. It was so tender and fell apart. The stuffed capsicum was so tasty and the chips perfect! We had a great time the drinks were beautiful and the chocolate baklava was so yummy! Was a large serving so definitely one to share! Also the staff sang me happy birthday was so cute and they were so friendly. Offering to take pictures. Great atmosphere! We will be back again for sure

I don't think I've ever had a better Greek restaurant experience in Australia. Firstly the service was beyond excellent. It was my partner's birthday dinner and they took amazing care of him. Staff were helpful and happy. The best thing though was the food! Every single dish was 10/10. Very well done. I'm so happy Brisbane is getting these great restaurants. Atmosphere was also exemplary with a beautiful view of the Brisbane River. The prices are also not too high which makes the value of this place VERY GOOD! Recommend getting the banquet for two people. Although make sure you're hungry cause the lamb is huge!

Sunday late afternoon dinner for a birthday. Great food and service! Sorry we had to leave so quickly after dessert. We needed to get to a show. Wished we had more time, the restaurant was lovely. We’ll be back for sure!

I've been to Opa Bar and Mezze twice already and both times I loved it. The service is fast and efficient and the staff are nice and chatty. The ambience is very relaxing and pretty and it is nice being near the ocean. I had the spanakopita and the lamb ribs, which were both absolutely delicious! The Artemis drink was a tasty and sweet cocktail with a pretty lilac color, too! I highly recommend this amazing restaurant to everyone. One of the best in Brisbane!

A great place right by the water. (Pity there is a big container in front of the restaurant), but the view and atmosphere still lovely. Fantastic service, menu was mostly amazing, I would like to see some more vegetable sides (I like my vegetables). The food we chose was delicious. And we got lovely happy birthday sparklers with some ice cream. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The Banquet for 2 people is an absolutely delicious selection of Greek food and wine. Kurtis our waiter for the evening was super friendly 5 star service. This restaurant is highly recommended for those who love a classy environment, good food and quality service.

Great venue on the banks of the Brisbane River down at the Riverside precinct. Decor is beautiful and the staff were all super friendly, helpful and attentive. It's slightly on the pricey side, however having said that, the quality and location make that worthwhile tbh. We visited mid winter but I imagine it would be amazing in the summer with the warm nights and the open frontage on the river. Would definitely recommend to others.

Another great Greek styled restaurant, and in my opinion the best in Brisbane. They were very good at ensuring dietary needs were catered for. The ambience is really nice and the decor is beautiful.

Had a 6pm dinner seating and we enjoyed some great cocktails followed by mezze. It was great to have a menu with allergen options for 2 of our group of 4 have allergies. Service was a little patchy on topping up water and we had to ask for the dessert menu twice. Also it was quite warm when seated inside as there doesn’t seem to be good aircon.

Exceptional restaurant. I was so impressed by the service from the lady who checked us in and Antony, our waiter. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and looked after us so well. Food tasted amazing and the quantity was perfect. The location is perfect and they have a beautiful layout for photos. Definitely recommend this restaurant and I look forward to bringing my friends and family here. Opa!

From the moment we arrived at the time we left, we were treated like royals. The waiter, Curtis, was awesome, and when he had to go on his break, Wendy took over, and the excellent service was maintained by her. The food was some of the best Greek food I've had the pleasure of eating. The location is awesome, dining on the brissy River. The menu is reasonably price and the portions are generous. Great dining experience.

Fantastic geek restaurant with an amazing food and drinks menu. Great spot on the river. Helpful and highly experienced staff who made us feel very welcome. One of the best Greek restaurants I have eatten in a while. We had a brilliant evening here. Highly recommend.

Had my anniversary lunch with my husband there. Food was amazing! I’m sure it will be more beautiful at the night time. But I enjoyed my weekend breeze and sun during the day. Will come back in the future.

A nice Greek vibe with a view Service and atmosphere is great but the food can improve even it’s tasty now I really liked keftedes, but the whole baby barramundi for $72 didn’t worth it! Prawn saganaki had a tiny amount of prawn. Honey puffs was a tasty dessert which I reckon to try They also have 10% surcharge for Saturdays which I think it’s not fair But overall it’s a nice place

We went there yesterday to celebrate my permanent residency in Australia. Such a lovely decor and has a great vibe. Very busy restaurant but the service is great and the food came very fast. Is a bit loud but that is part of the vibe as they have music on. We had the apolo banquet and it was amazing, soo much food, we could not finish it but really enjoy it! Would definitively recomend!

Alexis was lovely and provided awesome service. The food was yummy and plentiful. All eight of us enjoyed the Aphrodite banquet and we still had leftovers.

✨I went here for my belated 21st birthday, and Opa was literally amazing. Ammar was an utter champion, and he presented everything brilliantly. Emily, Grant, Joana, were fantastic staff. Everybody was super friendly and delightful. The customer service was on point. I had a feast fit for a king and the food was flawlessly perfect, and the chefs did an absolutely tremendous job. The lighting was nice and atmosphere was great. Personally I highly recommend this place because my experience was sensational. 10/10✨

The first time we went here and definitely won't be our last. Though the weather was gloomy outside, the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and the interiors are inviting. From the moment we stepped inside it felt like we were transported to the Mediterranean. The food was great, and the staff served with a smile (new staff needs ample time to learn the service), but other than that the whole experience was delightful.

Amazing place with view on the river serving refined Greek cuisine. The food was excellent and very tasty, the Opa cocktail with watermelon, vodka and opa (anise) was delightful. Highly recommend, it’s not a place for a quick lunch but to taste gourmet cuisine. We only had to wait 5 minutes to get a table, 10% surcharge applies on the weekend and 20% surcharge on public holiday. We spent A$220 for 4 persons including 2 cocktails.

I had an exceptional dining experience with my girlfriends at this Greek restaurant. The Baked Eggplant and Capsicum Yemista were exquisite, bursting with rich flavors. The picturesque view and attentive seevice complemented the delightful meal. Highly recommended this place 😊

Was blown away by the experience we had! It was my best friends birthday and she’s leaving to head back home to Tassie soon so I requested if we could pls have a booth by the river… well wow! We were placed in such a beautiful spot over looking the river and in direct view of the bridge. I am so thankful and grateful for the team giving us such a wonderful dining experience! I also ordered the birthday plate so my friend got to enjoy the crew singing her happy birthday! Memories we’ll cherish forever! Thank you thank you thank you <3 :)

Brief walk for fitness down to the riverside was cut short when I noticed a very busy lunchtime going down @ Opa. I fronted the counter for a solo walk in and was promptly given a seat with incredible views for people watching and river action. Ordered all types of oysters on the menu and boy were they fresh. Char grilled lobster for the main as per Yumiko's suggestion. Trainee waitress but she was more than professional and along with the perfect food made for an afternoon of high end dining complete. Delicious. What a great spot along the river to enjoy the view, some cocktails and tapas. The staff were attentive and friendly, atmosphere and restaurant decor were gorgeous, and the food was delicious. The desserts were the best! You ever try chocolate baklava (a little unconventional i know)? Well I hadn't and it was amazing! Nom nom nom 🤤

It was a beautiful Greek experience, service and food are excellent , we went on Saturday for lunch I love the fact that their Manager is also always around checking on each table , and interacting with everyone. That adds so much value. Their chef deserves a 10/10. Overall great place !

Everything was amazing. Best service ever from the waiter on Friday, very quickly attended to, plates changed between courses and water was filled promptly. Some friendly chat and overall had a great time here. Pita bread was so delicious and the dishes were surprisingly light. Dessert probably has a little bit too much cinnamon but was still great and a generous portion size. Will be back! :)

Amazing food, ambience, service and location. The food tasted great and was presented beautifully. The only thing we didn’t like that much was the stuffed zucchini due to its lack of flavour, but Ioved every other dish we tried (loukaniko sausage was my favourite). The service was outstanding as Manuel was attentive and polite. You also can’t beat the ambience of this place as it’s impeccably decorated with the view of the river in the background. Prices are at the higher point but worth every dollar. Highly recommend.

Sorry Opa, we weren't all that impressed after looking so forward to trying your food out. At least the view was nice... The pita bread was a little doughy for us, but tsaziki was a decent serving size. I was hoping this tooth fish we ordered was a little tastier, but was pretty ordinary.. 😕

We had my birthday here and it was an amazing experience. We ordered a heap of share plates, large and small and it was one of the most enjoyable feasts. Greek, seafood and some lovely cocktails. The team also brought out a lovely birthday sparkler :)

Opa Bar was a fantastic place to have dinner. The restaurant was located on the river with a great view. The staff were so friendly and very attentive to our needs, they spent time explaining the menu and continually asked us if we needed more drinks. The food was amazing, so authentic and you could tell it was all homemade - best food I have eaten in Brisbane. The waiter asked what we were celebrating and we told him it was birthday. Within minutes a group of staff had brought over a dessert sighing happy birthday. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Lovely location on the city boardwalk Brisbane river. Nicely appointed restaurant greeted by friendly staff. Shared a number of different dishes and couldn't find one I didn't like. Staff were very friendly and approachable . Meal cost was very reasonable considering the great location. Wheelchair accessible and in house toilets. Thank you Opa.

Came here during lunch time. It was packed but I was surprised that the service was quick. Their serving size is huge as well! The spanakopita is a must have. Got curious what it would taste like but im so glad that I tried it. It was so delicious. Definitely a good restaurant to dine in!

We had a fantastic time at Opa. Loved sitting in the booth area but all of the tables have a beautiful view with a great atmosphere. Customer service was exceptional - thank you Wendy. The meals were delicious. My favourites were the Opa eggplant chips, meatballs, barramundi and the saganaki. The mixed desert plate was just devine.

My family and I came here for my mum's 60th birthday. I can't speak highly enough of this place. The service was faultless and the food was simple, clean and humble...and most importantly, exceptionally delicious. The location was lovely and the decor also adds to the great vibes. 100% recommend for a wonderful dining experience.

I ordered grilled cheese with fig sauce, zucchini fritters, grilled octopus, rib eye stakes, capsicum with rice and dessert. Except dessert, there were awesome🥰 I really enjoyed😋 but the dessert I ordered was too sweet. Especially the dough on the bottom was too much syrup😫 Also the waitress asked me water or sparkling water, I thought it was free service, but they charge $8 for two. I ordered another drinks, I didn’t drink sparkling water though🤣 it was a lil bit disappointed.

Dined here for a girlfriend's birthday and we will most certainly be returning again. Great venue for group and romantic dining with the gorgeous view of the Story Bridge. Presentation and service from the staff made our night enjoyable. Their Lamb Plate and Lobster Pasta is a must try, very tender with burst of herbs and citrus flavours. Thank you for the lovely experience, can't wait to dine here again.

Such nice restaurant with beautiful view, lovely staffs and super delicious foods. I have always enjoyed everything I ordered here, from mezzas to dessert menu. My favorite choices are Sagnaki, Barramundi, whole Octopus and their Moussaka.
