Awesome instructors and friendly atmosphere! I have done two blocks of classes here. Behrouz and Sibell do a lot to make guests comfortable and ensure that guests have a great time. They make classes lots of fun and challenge us, but in a way that leaves everyone feeling good about themselves. My posture and technique have been getting better and I am excited for further improvements with these wonderful instructors. I wish them continued success and recommend cloud 9 zouk highly. The socials they organized are always really fun as well and hopefully become more frequent!!

Always have a great time at all the social events and classes as well. Organized to a high standard and they are really friendly and welcoming to all individuals. Can't recommend more! Classes are tailored to different abilities of students and the instructors are very respectful that people are trying to learn and will make mistakes as we go along, which makes everyone comfortable and at ease.

I own so much to the Zouk instructors Sibell and Behrouz. The provide 5 stars classes and social meetings and dancing parties. They always look after each student, getting to know the histories and goals, willling to help out. They are very charismatic, attentive, polite, warming, friendly and welcoming. They changed the way I dance and the way I live. They have a such good energy and they are really open to help. I'm so comfortable with you, team! Thank you!

Honestly the best dance community in Brisbane! Behrouz and Sibell are not just terrific dance instructors and dancers themselves, they put in tremendous effort to make every person feel welcomed and supported! I don’t have any dancing background but the learning environment is just too enjoyable to resist! Your legs will learn it and your body will adapt, no worries! See you in class ;)

I joined Cloud 9 Zouk in May 2022 and it has been one of the happiest, most fulfilling years of my life! I discovered a love for this beautiful, flowing, expressive dance style, but I also became part of a beautiful dance community, where people love to connect, support and celebrate each other! This year has been filled with dance festivals, weekend parties, camping and other adventures with beautiful new friends. WOW Zouk is amazing! I just finished the beginners course and loved everything about it, the gorgeous sensual dance, the friendly people, the patient and super encouraging instructors. Loving the classes. Wouldn't miss it. I feel I have progressed and learned a lot in two blocks. And I have felt welcomed and encouraged right from Day 1. I appreciate getting individual feedback from the teachers and it is always delivered in a thoughtful and respectful way. Most of all, I love the friendliness and supporting social activity which makes me feel like I "belong" to this community. I have experienced a variety of dance schools and Cloud9 is definitely one of the best.

Dancing for me is a place of connection, fun and play. What I love most about Cloud9Zouk (besides the great instructors and amazing class content) is the balance between dance and community. Dance for me is non-verbal communication, a chance to get out of the mind and into the body. Perfect after a long day of work ;) Yet the community events and meet-ups that Behrouz and Sibell put on cultivate such a beautiful community spirit and allow us to connect with each other verbally and through other forms of fun as well. So much love for Cloud9zouk for the positive impact on my life ❤

I loved my beginning classes and getting to know all the people in this Zouk Community ! I definitely recommend it to who loves dancing or even who just loves learning and getting to know people! Mind blowing ! It's so so so perfect !

Having never danced really, it was good to actually be included and working on a rotation basis so you got to mingle with everyone. After spending a block there I mostly feel part of the group and like most people know me🤣 The dancing itself is quite easy to follow and taught well for the most part and makes you want to learn more, i wish the progression path was a little more timely and smooth but besides that have enjoyed my experiences.

Cloud 9 is so welcoming and inclusive. Their classes are so much fun. You alway feel like you belong. Once you try zouk you will be addicted.

Joining these classes is the best thing I've done for myself all year. The classes are fun and challenging and they progress quickly, unlike other Latin classes I have tried. The style is very flowy and sensual and the people are so encouraging and welcoming. There is no ego here. Just very lovely and supportive people. It's been a great place to make new friends and there is always some fun social activities you can join as well. Can't wait to start level 2 next year. Thank you Behrouz and Sibell☺️

I cannot recommend enough of this dance group or should I say, Community to others. This group changed my life through inclusiveness and everyone's passion for dance. There are no strangers in this community. Behrouz and Sibell are both excellent teachers where they gave their heart and soul into every lesson and every interaction. I truly enjoy the dance lessons and also the many activities planned that can range from movie nights to a weekend camping somewhere amazing. LOVE THIS GROUP!

If the thought of learning to dance has ever crossed your mind, Cloud 9 Zouk is the place to go. I joined about 8 months ago with no background in dance and was instantly surprised with what I was capable of, with the help of the lovely Behrouz and Sibell teaching me. Even after trying the first introductory block, I felt like I had come an incredible distance in my dancing skills (in just weeks)!! Every class has an incredibly fun and playful environment, thanks to the help and love of the teachers, and the great community within. If you’re scared of getting into a a serious and high-pressure class, don’t be, this is the opposite. It’ll be the thing you look forward to every week! On top of all of that, the C9Z class members go out most weekends doing amazing social activities, such as hiking, BBQs, beach trips and more..! So many more great things to say about this awesome community, but it’s better for you to just come and find out for yourself! See you there 😉

I attended a 2 hour "bootcamp". It was a great experience, the teachers are fun and easy going but we all seemed to progress surprisingly rapidly. Also they rapidly created a very friendly positive social experience in the class which was a great balm for a challenging few years of COVID social restrictions. They organised a perfect leader-follower numbers balance - which was impressive. Good current music too. I came away feeling wonderful and grateful to the organisers and fellow students.

I've been to C9Z since it's early days and I just love it there. C9Z excels in providing a wholesome dancing experience that combines Behrouz and Sibell's extensive dancing experience with an amazing and welcoming community full of diverse activities, gatherings and events. As an introvert, I was always afraid of going to a dance school and being side-lined because of my lack of skill, or because I knew no one. No such thing at C9Z. The team just makes you feel welcomed and safe from the onset and takes the time to get to know you and help you in your dancing journey. One of the highlights of my week for sure. All in all, well done.
