I'd give 6/5 stars if I could. I love everything about Dr Gimlette. The bar is breathtakingly beautiful, posh, classy and elegant. The marble bar, the chandeliers, the leather seats add to the luxurious yet homey vibe and the relaxed ambience of the bar. Delicious cocktails 🥃🍸🍹 and fantastic service. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The best bar in Brisbane city (together with Death & Taxes) 😁

Love!!! I’ll say it’s the best cocktail bar in Brisbane so far. The atmosphere is amazing, service was amazing, drinks also amazing. 10 out of 10. Me and my friends ordered 2 drinks each, every drinks was yummm! Also love the menu designs, divide few area earthy aroma fruit… with a good wording, leave a good imagination to help you decide. Very very tasty, definitely come back!

One of the best cocktail bars in Australia. Very nice atmosphere, beautifully crafted cocktails and enthusiastic staff. Absolutely loved it there and will be back everytime I am back in Brisbane. If you are Whiskey lover, I would definitely recommend the Triumph Of Death. Absolutely amazing.

This is the best cocktail venue I've ever been to! The wife and I always now ensure we get into this place. Great range, excellent staff. Fantastic drinks, something for everyone! Great stories for history buffs too! No booking- walk in and hopefully sit at the bar

Had an absolutely incredible experience! Will, our bartender, was brilliant and looked after us so well! All the drinks were incredible and his knowledge of cocktails and tailored it to exactly what we wanted! Made it to what we needed and added sweetness to what we wanted. This is a Cocktail bar. The theatrics of cocktail making is fantastic. Very professional staff who look after the patrons & ensure you drink water in between cocktails. Loved it.

Broad selection of drinks & cocktails. Amazing service with knowledgeable staff. Venue and atmosphere suits perfectly. (If you order a Martini, they'll bring out a cart & make it at your table)

First time trying them out and fell in love. The staff are friendly and helpful, the décor is amazing and the back area is quite unique (it's also where the main bathrooms are). Great prices on cocktails, better than anticipated ($20-30). Wheelchair access at the door (lift to the floor) and disabled bathroom at the back of the bar.

My daughter recommended this place for cocktails. Never been to a bar like this before . Awesome atmosphere. Not too loud that you can’t talk and I tried this flaming cocktail that was warm and smelt spicy but is went down real smooth . The service was really professional with the waiters having intimate knowledge of the drinks. Definitely a great place for a classy group drink.

Beautiful bar, great cocktails and amazing service. The decor and atmosphere is stunning and you almost can’t believe where you have walked into after being on the sidewalk of the CBD only moments ago. Service incredible. Waters were at our table within seconds, our drinks were all remembered correctly by our waitress and we didn’t have to tell them who ordered what when being served. Cocktails are unique, delicious and well worth the price for the overall experience of this place. Highly recommend.

We had the most sensational afternoon at Dr Gimlette today. We sampled at least half the cocktail menu. The staff looking after us were sensational. Thank you to Maddi (Allison Hargreaves😉) for the excellent service and also spending the time to check on us to see if the selection of cocktails was meeting our expectations. What a great day! Awesome cocktail bar. Dimly lit, leather booths, chandeliers, the atmosphere is sophisticated and somehow slightly steampunkish as well. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The cocktail selection is extensive and the couple we tried were divine. A really lovely evening out.

Fantastic all around. A premium bar with premium prices, but I believe you absolutely get what you pay for. Cocktails and service is to a very high standard. I will always recommend their blazed Cocktails, but the staff themselves are experts at recommending and sometimes even custom creating drinks for you depending on your tastes.

Came to Dr Gimlette on my exes recommendation. Probably the best advice she's given me, Max, Alex and Dan did a great job, knew the drinks and I had An amazing 3 hours, that I swore would end at 4. 7 hours later I went home happy. Really lovely venue, great staff and service

Nice drinking place, interesting cocktails with great atmosphere and nice decoration. Friendly and efficient staffs with good explanations of the cocktails. Clean and well maintained. Reasonable price for the drinks as well. Highly recommended.

I struggle to find words to describe this establishment. Walking in, wearing just shorts and a tee shirt, this place should have spat me out! It is way too classy. But, class is about knowledge after all, and I came here to learn about their craft of mixology 🤣 The drink menu here is seriously troublesome for anyone trying to avoid alcohol, I repeat, only come here if you have no limits!!! You will want to try everything. The stand-out drink to me is 'The Death Rattle'. The name of this drink does not suit the drink itself, or maybe it does. Whatever, it's the best cocktail I've ever had. It's served warm, reminds me of my other home country, Indonesia, and it's like being embraced by the ghosts of deceased loved ones. A high level of quality as a place and drinks wise.

Excellent Bar after Death and Taxes! A different menu and different cocktails but the quality is top notch! The bartenders are scientists and the service is GOAT. knowledgeable servers are worth everything

I’m so glad we found this place when we’re walking around to find somewhere to get after dinner drinks. Great atmosphere as soon as we stepped in, I loved how they set up the place with nice furniture. They have massive drinks menu, so hard to decide what to order. All staffs were very friendly and professional. Fun to just watch all talented bartenders making your drinks, and drinks taste very nice. Thank you so much for a lovely time. Can’t wait to go back there next time I visit Brisbane!
