I had an awesome stay at Selina Brissy! Staff were excellent, room was clean, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and the location is great! Only a 5 min walk to Roma Street station and not far from the city centre. Thanks for a great time!

So far, the best hostel we have been in Australia. The rooms are nice, clean and allow for some privacy. Clean toilets and common areas. The staff is amazing, helpful and cheerful. They have helped us a lot, and provided us with an excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would come again for sure.

Suit more mature travellers and job seekers who go to bed at a reasonable hour and get up in the mornings. NEGATIVES - Bathrooms have 2 showers for 4 people BUT neither showers have a privacy curtain or screen door, and so everyone locks the bathroom door and for however long they decided to have a private bathroom experience (waited as long as 45 minutes) no one else can use the other shower or use the toilet nor the sink!). So paying more for easier access to bathroom and shower but actually worse than any traditional hostel. - Tiny kitchen. - NO LAUNDRY facilities. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere without the capacity to wash/dry or hang clothes. POSITIVES - No noise between 10pm-7am although this ofcause won't stop someone however overall I found most the people staying were more mature; were not coming in late making noise, didn't take calls etc in the room and kept lights off. - Black out curtain helps with anyone getting up early to leave. - Dedicated work space 7am-7pm was super helpful. - The door key is small and on a ribbon bracelet. - 4 universal electric points PER bed with 2 inside the lockers! Massive plus for safety!

Loved this hostel, rooms are very private and the bar next door is a bonus. The host of our drinks, Zoe, did an amazing job of making sure everyone was happy and always had a drink in their hand. Would definitely recommend!

Another nice Selina location! First one in Australia. Rooms are great with privacy curtain and beds are comfy. Free drinks from 6-7pm where you can meet others. Located right next to greyhound so you can walk and also walking distance to the stadium.

I would like to share my pleasant experience at Selina. Firstly, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were always ready to assist. The location of the hostel is also excellent. It is conveniently close to major tourist attractions and transportation connections. You can explore the city without much hassle. The hostel has a bar where you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Special thanks to Lauren, who makes amazing ice lattes. :)

This hostel was absolutely the place to stay. Great atmosphere and location. The staff was so friendly and made me feel at-home. The bartender Lauren makes a fantastic cocktail and was so fun to talk to. Great for solo travelers because of the sense of community!

My friends and I were looking for a hostel to stay at that we could meet people and get good recommendations for activities while we were in Brisbane. That’s exactly what we got here. The bar was a great place to hang out. We mostly got served by the bartender Lauren and she not only provided great service but gave us insight on her travels that really helped us out. Overall, staying here made our trip so enjoyable and we definitely hope to be back!

I’ve stayed in lots of hostels in several many countries and this is one of the best ones. The staff were incredibly nice. Special shout-out to Adriana who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The rooms have a lot of space and the beds are really comfortable. I loved my stay here.

An absolutely lovely place & how I discovered Selina. Think of it as a chic hostel with a mix of backpacking travelers & people who enjoy a bigger hotel room - Selina has both. I had to book this place last minute while going to Brisbane as my previous booking in another hostel was cancelled - Selina was a bit more pricey but really, really worth it! I was in a 4 bed shared room. It had plenty of space for my stuff & a lovely, clean shower. The restaurant & co-working space were such a bonus, in an unbeatable location. The staff was also lovely & very accommodating. Did I mention the free drink? I ended up going to two other Selina locations in Europe after that, and I am very grateful for this experience! Very good hostel. I started my trip in Australia and I stay in Selina while 2 weeks. I was a very nice place : the team is very professional, welcoming, adorable. I loved spend time with them. I was very sad when I had to leave to my farm job. But I have very good memories with them. It's very good to meet a lot of people around the world. I make really good friend. I hope Selina company will open several Selina in Australia, because it was the best hostel that I known.

Have stayed here twice, the second time I needed to extend on Christmas Day and they made it a breeze. Super kind staff and exceptionally clean facilities. Nice restaurant downstairs and the most important part, DIRECTLY across from the train and bus station. Cannot beat the convenience. Be advised that all rooms are mixed, and there are no full length mirrors.

The rooms are really nice, curtains for privacy and an inbuilt lockable cupboard for your personal items. The plugs even take UK plugs meaning you don't need the cumbersome adapter which is a blessing. Great location next to the main city centre. Amazing staff, really helpful. They offer a welcome drink which is an amazing way to make some new friends in the hostel to kick off your Brisbane adventure!! Highly recommend!

I love the hostel. The rooms are clean and really comfortable. The people that work here are really helpful. I booked for 1,5 week and halfway I needed to change my room, that was a little unpleasant. But Victoria the manager helped me really well and she arranged that I could stay in my room. She was really kind and she did everything she could to make my experience the best. I'm really thankful for that. So the service for me is 10/10. I really recommend the hostel to everyone.

What a great stay! The staff is so lovely, Nahel helped me out at reception. She’s the best! Coffee was great, everyone at the bar seemed like some real A1 people. I made some friends there that I hope to last a lifetime. Because of my experience, I hope to return very soon🥰

Very clean hostel, but small details make it seem a bit older, while their vibe is trying to be modern. A bit more expensive than alternatives. Sadly my room had no windows, which is a major drawback and it was freezing cold (no blanket, only a top sheet provided) making it hard to sleep. Complimentary towel. Very busy kitchen. Friendly reception sent me to a delicious Thai restaurant.

Just came back from a short but beautiful trip to Brisbane. What a lovely hostel. I was warmly welcomed by nahel the receptionist. During my stay she made sure I had a fabulous time. Such an amazing hostel!! Made my trip in Brissy one of the best because I was able to meet so amazing people. Adriana from the front desk helped me to solve a problem with my booking and girl hosting social hours was also friendly. Moreover, I got an upgrade to a better dormitory. My stay was perfect.

This place was just what we needed! Booked as a private and it was super clean. It’s walking distance from every main sight. We feel so lucky to have stayed here and been in hands of such caring people. Adriana and Sandra were friendly and helpful. :)

Private room was nice, bed was comfy and ensuite was spotless. This hostel also hosts events at night at their bar, and it’s a great opportunity to meet people and socialize. Staff were lovely, Adriana was always over the top!!

It looks like an interior decorating magazine cover in some places. The location is convenient, reasonable distance from the train station. The bathroom inside the room is a plus. Afternoon’s girl behind the counter (Adriana) was helpful and friendly. The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and chill.

I recently stayed at this hostel for a few nights and this was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Australia… although I didn’t connect with anyone in my room particularly, I really appreciated the social events that Selina had every night, which allowed me to network and meet other fellow travellers… I attended a trivia night at the bar below and made a few really good friends that I am now in touch with! Rooms were clean and I was in a 4 bed room which was nice and quiet as well. Being a 2 minute walk from Roma Street station was also a blessing - couldn’t have asked for a better location! Definitely will be staying here next time I’m back in Brissy!

Was definitely the best hostel i stayed at in Australia. The prices are definitely higher than typical hostel. But you get a bit of a privacy with the curtains. Very modern hostel. Stuff super friendly. Right next to Roma Street Train Station - that is a big plus if you want to go to other places by train.

Best hostel I have stayed in on the East Coast. The rooms and the whole building are modern, clean and private. There were free drinks on arrival and the staff and bar were a lot of fun. Location is also great.

We had a great 3 nights stay in Brisbane !!! Loved my morning yoga class and the welcome drinks on Monday night, my room had a nice decor and was super clean, but a bit expensive to be honest. The downside was the noise at nighttime specially if your room is on the first floor, also lifts can take forever.

We absolutely love Selina Brisbane, the beds are so comfortable and private. Every bed is so private with a curtain, a locker, drawers and charging ports with lights. The bathrooms are clean and the overall decor is lovely. The staff are so accommodating and so lovely to chat to!

Great hostel! Host a lot of social activitities such as a social hour every night which is very nice for solo travellers. Four bedroom dorm was good: clean and storage underneath the bed as well as a small cabinet above the bed you can lock. Only reason it’s not five stars is because the shower barely had any water come out and there was also not really warm water. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Hostel was lovely! Nice, clean and modern rooms. Most lovely and thoughtful staff I've ever experienced in a hostel (loved Emy and Zoe!). Amazing social activities, fun times and easy to meet with new amazing guys. Would recommend any time. Anyways would be perfect, if they're had a wash machine. Only "negative" aspect about it.

Good vibes in this modern and clean hostel right in the city centre! The staff is very friendly and always there when you need any help or just want to have a chat. The co-working space is a big plus. The bar do serve good food and is a nice place to be social with other travelers and locals. They also do daily activities to meet and spent time with other travelers. Will stay here again!

The hostel is super easy to get to from the airport with only a short walk from the main station. I stayed in the 4 bed dorm room and it had plenty of space. Really nice curtains that blocked the light. Nicest staff, specially the Mexican superstar Adriana. 10/10 would recommend it!!

What an awesome place to stay. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for and the vibe throughout the whole place was amazing. Excellent staff, very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy, with comfy beds (new!), although rooms are a little small for dorms. I was lucky for the last 2 nights to get a room for myself so it was excellent . Location is very central. Met some really nice people there!

Located across the road from roma St station. The check in time is a little late (3pm) but the check out time is also extended (11am) and they are happy to hold your bags. Staff very friendly. Ignore the instructions to download the app when you book. It doesn't matter. Room was tidy and simple. Bed comfortable. They are a very very basic room. Bed and bathroom. No fridge. No tissues. No compendium No extra frills. But still a nice tidy room(with like 6000 pillows). The hotel was quite busy when I was there (sat night) all dorm rooms booked and I wasn't woken up by noise at all. No street noises either. There are signs clearly stating all noise is to cease at midnight. I received a free drink card to the attached bar. But I would personally recommend investigating other areas to eat. As I don't feel what I paid matched the quality. They may have just had a off day. If you are just looking for a city based spot to sleep while you do things through the day this is ideal for you.

Totally beautiful place, I highly recommend staying there! I couldn’t believe what happened to me. I booked a dorm room, but because all rooms were fully booked, they upgraded me to a double room just for myself for free - it looked amazing and I was so happy! The people working there are very friendly and the place is simply stunning!

A great recommendation for solo travelers that do not enjoy noise/don’t want party/need a place to work/working nomad travelers. I really enjoyed my stay at Selina. Everything is clean and comfortable. Great located.

Really nice hostel with large bar serving great food. The bunk rooms have large comfy beds with curtains for privacy and a large lockable box. There is also a coworker space and outside roof/cinema terrace. WiFi is super reliable and the kitchen has good amenities.

This was a fantastic hostel to stay at! The location was great and Selina as a company I highly recommend. Right in the CBD of Brisbane, and just minutes from a train station. Every staff member I encountered was wonderful, beyond helpful and welcoming! They had several evenings that had events (my favorite was the musical bingo!), which was a fun way to meet other travelers. I stayed for two weeks in a dorm, and the room was cleaned daily - the privacy curtains are a great bonus 😍 Thank you everyone at Selina Brisbane for a great visit!

The hostel is great, love the vibe! The activities they plan each day are fun and nice to get to know new people. The room was very clean and I liked that we had out own bathroom. The staff is super friendly, especially Linda and Chloe who gave us a very warm welcome! I would recommend for sure

Selina is probably the highest standard hostels I've stayed in. Definitely stands out from others as regards quality of beds, location cleanliness and offered activities & events. But above all, what makes a big difference is the staff which was very kind and welcoming, especially Laure, my stay wouldn't have been the same without her for sure!. Thank you so much ☺️

Staff are so accommodating and welcoming. They exceeded my expectations within just the few hours of my stay. The hostel hosts different sociable events every evening which is a great opportunity for solo travellers to meet other people. With discounted drinks and food on offer and super comfortable and private bedrooms, it's a no-brainer to stay here.
