Excellent little museum with lots to look at. I didn't know this was virtually on my doorstep! Had a well stocked gift shop with various items relating to the occult, witchcraft, taxidermy etc. Free to get in, only us there when we visited so car park was empty (situated along the canal). A friendly owner and a beautiful cat named Pickles came up to us when inside looking for a stroke. We love quirky places like this, i would definitely recommend.

SO much to look at in such a small space! Display cabinets full of oddities, and a place you'll need to return to. Dave is friendly and welcoming, answering any and every question asked.

A great day out. Dave is a friendly and confident teacher and with a class size of only 5 he has plenty of time to give everyone the attention they need. The days course is well structured and beverages were offered at points when hydration is critical! A great gift or a treat for yourself if you have even the slightest interest in this fascinating subject. Highly recommended.

Did a beginner's taxidermy course here and it was fantastic. Dave is really nice and an excellent teacher, allowing you to get in and try and only stepping in to help when you ask. It's not messy or smelly at all and was really fun to do. I did a really cute little white rabbit and treated myself to a few things in their cool museum/shop.

Absolutely loved visiting. We didn't have much time to spend in Wales while visiting but we are so glad we stopped here! Fascinating collection of oddities, a gracious owner and a beautifully curated little shop that was as interesting as the museum itself. Highly recommend

Ordered a necklace and bits from here online, and couldn't be happier. Fox jaw necklace is great quality and the jaw itself is in great condition. And I love the other bits with the freebies. Will definitely order from here again and want to visit one day!

A very interesting place to visit, the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable and told us stories about the objects he had on display, which made it a great experience visiting the morbitorium, I'm definitely going to visit again and would highly recommend, especially if you like the weird and unusual.

My dad and I came for the beginners taxidermy course and had an amazing time. A very unique experience, and a fantastic venue. The museum itself was wonderful and they have a great collection of oddities to buy. Dave was very helpful and friendly, and the many cats roaming around was a definite bonus!

Really fascinating place to visit if you love oddities, the occult and taxidermy. The owner is lovely and likes to engage with visitors which is a nice touch. It has a shop to the rear which I could quite easily spend a lot of money in 🤣 had been meaning to visit for quite a while and I'm really glad I finally have

The saying goes that the best things often come in small packages and this is true of Morbitorium. An absolute treasure trove of the uniquely weird and wonderful. Dave is the perfect host, generous with his knowledge and stories. I'm usually not a fan of 'exit through giftshop' but our purchases are just the best. Go see, it's brilliant.

Had a great time at Morbitorium, went there this weekend and full of really interesting artifacts. The guy who ran the place was really friendly and great to chat to. The gift shop was great too and we definitely couldn't leave without a few bits. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic place to kill a few hours for those who like the strange and usual. Packed floor to ceiling with a wide range of oddities. Lovely and friendly welcoming owner who was informative, but left us to us peruse the displays at our own leisure. Great gift shop with something for everyone at a range of prices to suit any budget. Will be back to check out the ever growing collection again for sure!

An awesome place! Though small, there isn't a corner that is boring! All sorts of wonderful items, many for sale too! The gent that showed us around is very friendly and knowledgeable, and obviously passionate about his and his partners collection. Highly recommended for the curious! I brought my teenager and toddler, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it...thankyou 😊

Visited here today and we absolutely loved it. So much to look at, we will definitely be back when I have some spare cash there's so much I want from the gift shop lol

What a fantastic (and huge) collection of the macabre, occult, and just plain odd! The gent running it was very happy to talk about his collection and showed us some really fantastic items. Definitely worth a visit.

Very interesting place with a collection of curiosities for the visitor (and those who like cats). Halloween fanatics & alternative people rejoice, but if pickled puppies in jars aren't your thing, it's not for you. Friendly owner with lots of subject matter expertise on the exhibits. A £2.50 entry charge (well worth it).

Fascinating place! The Morbitorium has a magnificent collection of some of the most unusual, weird and truly interesting oddities. We travelled 2 hours each way and it was well worth the journey. We got a warm welcome from Dave as we entered and he was on hand to tell us more about any items we had a particular interest in. I had ordered a mummified Egyptian anubis burial statue online and it was securely packaged and ready for me to collect. It is one of my favourite ever purchases and come payday I'll be back on the website as there's definitely a few more oddities I'd love to bring home!

Amazing service yet again. Quick delivery and Mummified heart was spot on for Valentines! Dave is such a friendly happy bloke. I even called just before Christmas on a Sunday, early in the morning fretting over a Present to buy as I was unsure. Dave answered all my questions and helped immensely. My wife is excited to do her upcoming taxidermy course! Quite a distance to be fair but helped me as if I was a local. Thank you Dave

I enjoyed my visit. It was very interesting and I liked seeing all of the unusual exhibits. The owners are very nice and happy to answer any questions about the exhibits. They own six cats, I met one of them and he is very friendly. There is a book exchange outside the entrance which is cool. If you're into weird things, horror, medical artifacts and more, I highly recommended a visit! Entry is free, they also have a great selection of things in the gift shop. I recently ordered something from their website and paid for it to be delivered to me. But one of the owners was passing by my house that day so she dropped my order off and gave the delivery money back to me. That was very kind of her :)

I visited the Morbitorium with my partner on our way back to London after a small break away in Wales. I loved every second in the museum and shop, Dave and his Mrs are a wonderful couple and very inviting. This place was definitely the highlight of the whole trip and I will be stopping by if I am ever in Wales again. Thank you for such a memorable experience and I will be buying from you again!

Just been to the Morbitorium today for a taxidermy class, and I can't recommend it enough! The museum is incredible, so many fascinating things to look at. Dave is an excellent teacher, very patient and explains everything really well. I'm so pleased with the rat I made, never thought it would turn out so well. All in all a fantastic day!!

So spooky. An epic place that more people should visit! A little out there if you aren't into natural history, curious or the accoult, so requires an open mind. Dave is such a lovely guy and his cats are the friendliest!!
