We had more than one great trip with Chad! It was easy from the beginning to book and look up pricing. We had an island hop and a fishing experience that was unbelievable. Captain Chad and First Mate Joe were absolutely amazing. They personalized our 8 hour day trip to accommodate every one in our family:snorkeling Diamond Reef, fishing, lunch on Jost Van Dyke, White Bay with a Soggy Dollar Bar Painkiller, and ending with a trip to Pirates on Normand Island. They were both wonderful with our children 19,17 and 12, encouraging them as they fought hard to reel in the fighting barracudas. Such a fun and perfect day. I had the pleasure to be onboard “Salt Shaker” with Captain Chad Lettsome. Unfortunately on this trip fishing was not part of the agenda, but I was able to enjoy a beautiful and comfortable ride to the North Sound on his Stuart, FL built L&H custom sportfish. On our way there and back I was able to interview Chad about the history of his family in the BVI, their passion and involvement with the ocean, fishing, sailing and a few blue marlin stories from the famous BVI North Drop. I learned a few new things about the BVI and fishing there, but most important I was able to feel the passion for what he does, his respect for the ocean, how safety is on top of his list based on his equipment and orientation and most important his humbleness.

Chad and Salt Shaker BVI are the local experts on the North Drop, South Drop and all regions in the BVI! The hospitality is second to none, and I highly recommend to avid anglers and amateurs they spend a day on the water with Salt Shaker.
