Where do I begin. We came across the Village Cay on the way to our ship. Two of us ordered the honey fried chicken. Portions were fair, price reasonable, unfortunately one of the fried chicken breast were frozen inside! Raised a complaint and were battered off by two members of staff. Additionally they advertise free WiFi. However they gave out the password, which was wrong and rather than admit it was wrong they blamed "the Internet being rubbish" not the fact that the router wasn't accepting the password! In short, not the best experience. Wouldn't recommend. Edit: 24 hrs later... Downgraded my score further as the last 24 hours haven't gone well. Even though the bits of chicken I actually ate were piping hot... The gastric distress and cramping I have had since has been awful, leading me to question their hygiene.

Worst experience ever!! There was 3 of us, all of our meals came out separately. Like, 10 mins apart. This was after waiting over an hour for a meal to come out. It was not busy. There were 3 tables, a party of 6, us and another party of 3 who walked out before thier food was delivered. Will never come back and don't recommend this place to anyone. Oh, and the food we waited over an hour for SUCKED! Burger was over cooked and dry.

I read the reviews and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but boy were we wrong. Drinks came and appetizers but after that everyone that came in after us got their food before us. Then they wanted to convince us to stay but no one deserves this kind of treatment. Very negative experience and worst part is this was our first time in Tortola.

I came here for dinner and we waited two hours to receive our food, the crazy part is the restaurant didn’t have much reservations. It was basically empty! We ordered grilled lobster and it wasn’t cooked throughly, it was still cold in the middle because it was frozen!

Good rooms, big beds, great AC, coffee making facilities, fridge and ensuite bathroom. Restaurants is okay, closes a little early but good food at reasonable prices (in context of location) can be found on the menu. Good place for a nights stay either end of a yacht charter.

Spent night before liveaboard Dive week. Decent, nothing expected. Near a grocery store, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Check out the restaurant, Roti-man for some nice food, even has a "to go" section. Expensive island for food and drink.

Nicely situated by the sea in the marina but bad service with long waits, food then served more cold than warm and more than 40 minutes apart, also the food itself didn’t taste that good…for what you get it’s also expensive!

I couldn’t ask for a more quiet location in the Road Town area. Large bedroom and living room overlooking the marina. Fabulous. Very nice staff, bar and full restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Drinks were good, I got a Pain Killer and my wife got a Frozen Margarita. It's the service which is why I am giving it 2 Stars. It took forever to get served the first round of drinks. Then I ordered another beer after my first drink and I waited at least 10 minutes before another server came by and asked if everything was ok. I understand if they are busy but there were about 6 couples in the entire restaurant and the servers were wrapping cutlery. So, if you dont mind waiting for service then it's a good spot.

The first thing I love about the food at Village Cay was that the the roti was flavorful, and wonderful... It wasn't just "hot for the sake of being hot", it had some 'spice' but it wasn't packed full of pepper seeds just to make you mistake hot for well-made. It was also well balanced, with enough veggies to complement the meat, yet not so much to overwhelm the dish. The view and the weather were certainly matchless; the location was close enough to be an easy walk from a cruise ship, but not so close to the main track that they get swamped and crowded. You'll have to look for this gem on the water, and yet you won't regret it when you get there. Do give yourself time to enjoy it, it's quite worth it!

Probably as good value as you'll find anywhere in the BVI. The hotel is clean and comfortable and staff helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant is very good and a good selection of cocktails served at the bar. Great location and excellent for a few days stay in Road Town.

Unfortunately when I was there the food took so long to come even though there was not many people there. However, the portion sizes were large.

Worst Experience ever, Had called and order a pick up the lady told me an hour wait for a pizza and a garlic bread. I agreed, went there after an hour to pick up, she said sorry another 30 mins, I said it’s ok cancel the order, she went the kitchen and said don’t worry they are packing your order and she charged my card, After charging my card, the lady just practically avoided me, made me wait for another 25 mins in the name of packing. After loosing my patience, I just left the place without picking up my order. They didn’t even bother to call me, they took my number when I placed the order. Horrible service.
