Sheltered Coves Saved Our Day We had a great day, despite poor weather forecasts and rain late in the day. Our three teens and two adults enjoyed sailing, snorkeling and catching a few rays. Dee and Capt. Chris expertly selected sheltered coves in Peter Island and Norman Island, which were picturesque and full of sea life. Our kids even caught some video of hawksbill sea turtles! See below. Best of all, all locations were quiet with only a few other boats and swimmers. Lunch was delicious with great side salads and Dee customized wrap sandwiches for two special requests: dairy-free and non-meat eater. Small group of fellow day-sailors was compatible with our family. A great choice for our day on Tortola, off our cruise ship. We will book with Adventure Charters BVI again. Thanks again for a super day!

On December 13th, our cruise ship arrived in Tortola. Instead of booking an excursion through the cruise ship, I contacted Dionne before the cruise and we were able to arrange this trip quite easily. We booked a motorized boat so we could see as much of the BVI's as possible. It turned out to be the favorite part of our cruise! We are a family of 11 and Captain Malcolm made sure everyone was comfortable and safe. He stopped at two different locations where we swam and snorkeled. In addition, the older members of the family were able to swim to shore to explore the Baths. The two teenage boys loved climbing on the rocks. The area is beautiful, the service was outstanding and we had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend contacting Adventure Charters BVI and I want to thank you for a picture perfect day!

We had a beautiful day sail with Adventure Charters on Christmas Eve, 2023. We sailed on the gorgeous catamaran Beline II with Captain David and First Mate Wafa. It was simply an amazing day. We chose a sail to Norman island (Adventure Charters offers day sails to the island of your choice). David and Wafa greeted us warmly and showed us around Beline II, making us feel comfortable and at home. Delicious Painkillers were awaiting us, as well as a cooler full of soda, water, beer and wine. We left the dock and headed first to the Caves on Norman Island. We snorkeled the beautiful caves, and when several in our party discovered the swimming was tougher going than anticipated, David brought the dingy around to collect everyone. Wafa prepared an amazing lunch of chicken, pasta salad, garlic bread and more. As we sat and ate, we got to know more about David and Wafa, and their sailing experiences. They are both truly amazing individuals, and it was a pleasure getting to know them! Once lunch was finished, we decided that we were not interested in other snorkeling destinations, so David and Wafa amended plans and sailed us around Norman and Peter islands to see the beauty that is the BVI. It was truly a magical day, made even more magical by Dee who makes the arrangements and handles all the logistics of the reservation, David and Wafa (who hopefully will have her captain's license soon) who made us feel special, quite pampered, and allowed us to sit back and enjoy. We definitely plan on sailing with Adventure Charters (and hopefully David and/or Wafa) again when we return in December 2024!

Great experience! Great staff (a family) and they were so nice, laid back, knowledgeable! We all had a blast, so nice not a huge crowd on the boat. It was only 6 and the staff…loved it. Saw turtles and fish. Highly recommend!!

November 2023 We had an AMAZING trip aboard the Belline II through Adventure Charters. The captain and the first mate were absolutely perfect. We were able to sail across the main channel to Norman Island and snorkel. We then went over to the famous Willy T to experience drinks aboard a pirate ship. Our last stop was the Indians - an amazing snorkeling spot that rivals any other place in the world (in my opinion)! Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had a great day and would highly recommend this trip to any other families wanting to get out on the water for a day!

We spent the day on the Sun Goddess with Captains Kevin and Cheryl while in Tortola with our cruise ship. There were 7 in our group, ranging from ages 7-70. We all had a fantastic time snorkeling, spending time on the beach, and learning about sailing. Kevin and Cheryl were wonderful hosts and were happy to tailor the day to make everyone happy, including the kids. The pier was an easy 5 minute walk from the cruise ship park and the Sun Goddess is immaculate. I can't recommend this highly enough - truly the highlight of our trip!

We had a fantastic trip with Adventure Charters BVI during a short Tortola stop on our cruise with our group of 12. I knew we were in good hands from the first interaction with Dee. She responded promptly to my first inquiry and quickly answered all my questions before booking. We opted to go to Norman Island and do some beach and snorkeling. Upon our arrival at the marina, Rosie was there to greet us. From there, we boarded the boat with Captain Phil and set sail toward Norman Island. Captain Phil and Rosie were excellent and shared all the area details. We stopped at a pretty much-secluded beach club on Norman Island and enjoyed the pristine beach. Several of us snorkeled and saw turtles. After a stay at the beach, we headed snorkeling in the caves. Captain Phil led the way through the caves, and we had an excellent snorkeling trip seeing all sorts of fish, sea urchins, and lobsters. After returning to the boat, we zipped around to some different coves, and Captain Phil shared more tales of the area and pirates. Captain Phil and Rosie we the best and made the trip so enjoyable. They took several photos for our group and made sure we captured the best sights! Our group ranged from 13 to 72, and we had something for everyone! I highly recommend Adventure Charters and would book them again in a minute. First class all the way.

We arrived in Tortola on a cruise ship and had booked a full day trip on the 38' contender boat. The boat was beautiful! So spacious for our party of 6. We had a flexible itinerary as we weren't quite sure what we had wanted to do until we arrived. Our Captain was very helpful in giving suggestions about what we should do and we had a wonderful day. So nice to have a stocked cooler full of waters and drinks waiting for us. Special thanks to Dee for helping with all of my million questions during the booking process. We really enjoyed our boat trip with Adventure Charters and hope to be back to the BVI again soon!

From the time of booking to our actual sailing day (and a few days after even!) we couldn’t be happier with adventure charters. Dionne was extremely responsive through email regarding any questions I had (food on board/lifejackets available/what we needed to bring etc). We went on this charter with 2 little kids and 5 older teens. Everyone had an amazing time! The boat was extremely comfortable. There were 9 of us (11 including the 2 captains!) and it never felt crowded. Most of us sat up front on the trampolines while we were sailing. There were refreshments as well as a fruit platter and cheese/crackers for snack and a DELICIOUS roti for lunch made by one of our captains, Kiara. When we first came on board our captains asked us where we wanted to go. I mentioned some things we wanted to definitely see and things we weren’t that into (crowds). They gave us their opinion and we went with it. We sailed from Tortola to sandy cay and took a dingy onto shore. We were the only people on the island at the time which was so cool! We saw a huge stingray and lots of fish. Then we headed back to the boat and set sail for White bay where Soggy Dollar Bar is. We picked up a mooring pretty close to shore so we all jumped off the boat and swam to shore. We got drinks at soggy dollar bar and swam back to the boat with them in hand :) it was an unforgettable day. I highly recommended this charter company to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing or adventurous sail! Oh! And we forgot our GoPro on board but Dionne reached out to me and we were able to coordinate a time/place to meet to retrieve it!

Adventure charter made my life so much easier. We were a group of 20! Dee reserved three boats for us in total. The first day we had two power boats and our Captains Roan and Phil/Rosie were amazing!Took us all around Virgin Gorda and had a blast with them! Thank you guys. The second day we chartered a sail boat and it was amazing! Captain Jeff decorated the boat for my birthday and did wonderful with our large group to Soggy Dollar. We were floored with the wonderful hospitality and kindness. Thank you everyone at Adventure charter for making our trip one we will always remember!!

Dee and her team took our family's interests and children's ages (7 & 12 years old) into consideration when planning the perfect sail. Our day included snorkeling, boat jumps, pirate caves, and an amazing white sand beach. We couldn't have imagined a better day!

Great trip on sailing catamaran from Virgin Gorda - full day sail leaving at 930 and returning at 530. Comfortable boat with all the right equipment (snorkels, towels, etc.), food and beverage perfect for a day trip, and a fantastic friendly crew (perfect mix of interactions and privacy throughout the day). Would definitely sail again!

Incredible Couples Catamaran Sailing Charter! We loved it! Sailed to Peter Island for snorkeling. Then we went to Willie T's for lunch and we did the famous jump off the back. Finished with snorkeling at the Indians, it was hard to choose between looking under the water for the beautiful coral, or just float on top to take in the views! Thank you to Dee and John for being wonderful hosts!

Absolutely the best Catamaran sailing day trip. Captain John, Jerry and JD did an amazing job. Very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Can’t go wrong with them.

Absolutely incredible!! We had a wonderful day sail with Captain Jeff and first mate Ciara. We started in Tortola and sailed to Peter Island where my friend dropped his phone in the water. Ciara dove 30 ft to retrieve it (and it still worked)! Next, on our way to Willie T's we ran into a very large pod of dolphins who swam with the boat for while. It was magical and something I will never forget!! We ended at Norman Island where we swam with turtles and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The sail was the highlight of our trip and I HIGHLY recommend it if you are in the BVIs!

Our family did a day charter with Captain John and his family on there 50 foot Cat and we had the best time! They took us snorkeling to a few islands that were just amazing! We also had a blast eating at the Willie T and jumping in the water from the second level! The water is like a swimming pool in that whole area! It was the highlight of our trip and look forward to heading back to the bvi and doing it all over again! Definitely recommend Capt John for any charter, he knows the area extremely well !

Amazing as usual with Dee on her beautiful boat. We took out a group of 15+ guests multiple days during our wedding and had a wonderful time exploring the best snorkel spots and visiting bars and restaurants. Clean and well kept boat with a friendly staff and they even came over from Tortola to pick us up on Virgin Gorda for the day. Highly recommended!

We had such a great few days on the Belline II! Warren and Pinny were fantastic - took us to several great spots for snorkeling, dining and drinking. Pinny’s cooking was amazing! We would highly recommend!

Went out for the second and third times this trip with Dee and her fabulous catamaran. Did private charter for friends and family during our wedding stay and everything was organized, professional, and a blast! We snorkeled, sailed, had fabulous lunch and cocktails on the boat. They provided great quality snorkel gear for everyone, all 18 of our guests, which seemed to go above and beyond. A perfect day trip experience whether you are looking for jump on a day trip with family or friends.

Had a lovely sail aboard the catamaran Belline with Chef Pinny and Captain Warren. The Thai inspired lunch was yummy and there was an ice chest filled with an assortment of drinks. We swam and toured the Baths on Virgin Gorda as well as a great snorkel along the shoreline of Cooper Island. Highly recommend this Charter and crew.
