Really enjoyed the 'gormet' steak and chips. Friend's pizza was a bit lifeless. Other friend enjoyed his burger. Huge dish of apple crumble and ice cream. Don't sit near the stairs as every noise from the kitchen is deafening! The outdoor dining areas looked inviting in the evening sun.

A decent pub in Swansea town centre, representing a branch of JD Wetherspoons. Tasty food and a wide variety of drinks at great prices. Nice atmosphere and very spacious! For those who appreciate a good Wetherspoons carpet, sadly there's no carpet in the main pub area, however there is a very nice blue, black, and white chequered tile layout throughout! 🙌🏻 Anyhow, despite Tim Martin being a Tory-backing, Brexit-supporting gammon, you just can't help visiting his pubs 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣🇪🇺❤️

Great service and helpful staff despite how busy it was. The prices of drinks are affordable and the food was good.

Came for breakfast this morning and my partner ordered on the app. We thought it was taking longer than usual so he checked back on the app and it was showing as if he had ordered to another pub. Thinking he had made the mistake, although he was adamant he had clicked the right place, we did not say anything and ordered again this time on my phone instead. Our drinks came not long later but had double the amount we had asked for. We raised this with the waitress who said you might as well keep them they have been made now. We then went back and checked his app and it definitely said potters wheel and not bank statement but this time when he clicked view receipt it did say bank statement on the receipt. When our food was brought out we raised the issue realising that it was actually a technical fault not our fault ordering to the wrong place. They advised they could refund the second food order but not the drinks order because the drinks had been brought out. This was not our fault, we tried to send the drinks back and we did not drink the drinks so not an acceptable outcome.

Really good Weatherspoons, It was very quiet when we arrived (8 in the morning) Staff were really nice and they even asked us how our meal was which doesn't happen very often in Weatherspoons. Food was hot and we didn't have to wait too long, we were able to swap some of our items on our breakfasts which was great. Filled us up and a great price as well! Toilets were clean, nothing to complain about with this branch!

Food an average Wetherspoons, clean and tidy with nice decor inside. Service rather slow but was very busy weekend due to gorgeous weather. Not allowed to take drinks outside after a certain time. Understandable for perhaps youths but 3 women in their 60s unlikely to be antisocial! Also, really loud music. Never known music in Wetherspoons and certainly not that loud! Good value though, as usual.

Food took forever to come to the table, drinks even longer. Far too noisy. I'm not used to wetherspoons having a music licence so people had to talk really loud to hear each other. I don't think I'll be going back there.

One of the better Spoons. Friendly and polite staff. Great choice of beer. Proper prices. Didn't eat so can't comment, but it was chocker full of diners early evening so they can't be doing much wrong.

Is a spoons, full of students as you'd expect I guess. Quite possibly the slowest service I've ever had a spoons, I had the little jug of gravy with my chicken basket that was stone cold, but they replaced it in a timely manner. 35 minutes for food and 45 for drinks isn't quite what you'd expect, but I'd guess they were short staffed, which, with an abundance of students about, is usual. Food was OK though, typical spoons quality, you get what you pay for in terms of quality 🤷‍♂️

Really nice wetherspoons, staff were very friendly and helpful. Using the app to order is just perfect as you can just relax and everything is brought to you. Very busy up on the outside area at the back. Prices are little high on food now than they used to be. But still very much enjoyed. Would go again

Great gourmet steaks on steak night, very reasonable and cooked exactly as we had asked. Good pint of beer. Excellent staff. Will go there again.

We love coming here for food as it's always lovely food and a good atmosphere. we tried the festive Christmas menu and weren't disappointed the burgers were delicious! Ordering was fast and easy as I downloaded the app, and for a family of 5, what a great price for a meal for us all, no doubt we will be back next week!!

Got some good memories in this pub. I'd say Wetherspoons is pretty consistent across the board so this review is based on the fascinating interior. Pretty strange to think it was once a bank. I wonder where they hid the safe? Rooftop area is nice as well, although a little grimy compared to inside which is fairly clean. Expect heavy business, the occasional nuisance, and thick crowds on weekends. Can be very loud during these times.

8am breakfast in November. Had Egg Benedict. Nice portion. The hollandaise sauce is delish, though would prefer the eggs poached than half boiled. But overall is delish. Service staffs are friendly. The environment is nostalgic. Have yet to visit for night drinks. The toilet nice too. 😍👍

Very busy restaurant in busy part of town. Like all weatherspoons restaurants, the toilets are a mile away. Food was lovely. Service became very attentive after I found my fork had dried up food between the tines...never been asked so many times if everything was OK... Apart from that and earning the nickname of being a "karen" by my group of friends, it was a nice meal at reasonable prices

Spotless(including the loo), at 8.30am, after a crazy busy friday night before! App ordered. Food arrived quickly, piping hot and delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. Very good, coffee with free refills. A definate, for a return visit!

Not the best experience. Food came wrong, then while partner had his food, I had to wait. So we did not eat the same time. Would of expected all meals to be taken back and fresh, so hot and eat together. Then second time it was not what I asked for exactly and was cold. They also billed me twice for one meal, so had to sort this out after meals. Being disabled I used the facilities. Had an other customer banging on the door, was spoken to rude (to say the least) and told to **** off. Back room was very loud, no staff asking a table to calm down. So had to move. Staff were polite, unfortunately offered nothing complimentary to apologise. In all disappointing.

My favourite pub especially on a Wednesday night. That said, on Student Night (every Wednesday) it does become crowded and the staff especially the security personnel are stretched. The ambiance is good but somehow the food today was not as great as other days. Maybe it’s psychological ! All in all, Wednesdays at The Bank Statement, the branch at Wind Street are great. Highly recommended.

I went for food with my friend the other day in this place. The food isn’t what it used to be. My steak was cold. I asked for it rare they gave me medium rare. They don’t have any options such as sweet potato if you wanted the healthier choice. Where as most pubs on wind street have. The place have gone down hill a bit. They don’t even lay the tables out for food like it used to be ( laziness). It’s a restaurant for god sake. Paid that to have hardly any chips with it, the only thing that seemed nice. They used to give you a salad and cooked tomato thing at the side they didn’t even do that. And a refill coffee? Sorry to rate two stars but the place used to be nice. Some of the staff didn’t seem that bothered either. 👍🏼 Screaming kids in there , the staff didn’t even ask politely for them to be quiet. Or move. Wanted a peaceful lunch. Not a nursery to go too. Kids shouldn’t even be in a bar at that time. ( no offence ).🙄 I agree with most some disturbing things on the way to the toilets as well.
