Delicious isn't a strong enough word, a brilliant example of classic French cuisine. Excellent service and real gem for Swansea. Will be returning!

After hearing very good reviews for a long time, I was looking forward to a works meal which was organized with a small group of close colleagues and partners. The food was excellent. Unfortunately that's where the good news ends. The service was terrible. On entering before getting to our table we were asked "where's the other two?", to which we replied we think they're running a little late (we arrived five minutes before the sitting), the response was "well I hope they hurry up as we have a lot of parties tonight". Drinks were dumped on the table, not once were we asked if we were ok for drinks etc. Our friends who were five minutes late hadn't even got to the table before having to confirm their pre order. When finishing up, we asked have you got the last sitting now then, to which the response was "oh God no, I've been here all day, you're the last sitting". So not only were we rushed for nothing, we were told they were rushing because of more parties, which were never coming. Unfortunately this definitively left all the positive reviews I've heard about here, completely null and void. Thankfully the good company and the food at the time made the meal enjoyable and look forward to our next meal together, elsewhere.

Stunning food. Nicest steak I've ever tasted.

Staying in Swansea for a few days, I was hiking along the Gower and quizzed a local couple for recommendations on places to eat in the area. I am glad that I did with their stand out recommendation being Bouchon De Rossi. I had a fillet steak with chips and vegetables. The steak was excellent, the chips beautifully cooked; crisp but fluffy and the vegetables very fresh. It was one of the best steaks I have eaten and I was unfortunate enough to have one in London this week from a well known restaurant here at twice the cost and 10% of the quality. I had the house red as it was the only red wine available by the glass. It turned out to be an excellent accompaniment to the meal. The dessert was also very good, although not quite as amazing as my main. Thank you! I should add that the staff were lovely. Traveling alone can be a little anxiety inducing at times and they were very welcoming.

First time here, lovely friendly service, excellent menu choice and food.

Impromptu lunch here today. Parking was a slight problem. Lovely friendly greeting. Shown to a spacious table for two. Service was excellent. Food choices were good. No set lunch menu. Food was delicious, good portion sizes and good value. The muchroom soup with medeira was very good. It wasn't fine dining....good hearty fare!!!

Really nice lunch with my mother. Lunch menu was reasonably priced but food was lovely. Had king prawns and the wine and garlic sauce was delicious. Have also been in the evening and that was amazing too. Filet steak with roquefort sauce was to die for. Spent between £40 and £50 which included a bottle of wine.

We turned up without booking a table (would not recommend this) and were welcomed by the owner who showed us to a table. Throughout, we were met with smiles and a can-do attitude. We have no criticism of the food, which was fab! These guys definitely know what they're doing - it won't be long before we're back!

This restaurant has been open for years. I have been here as a normal eater and as a celiac. Loved both experiences, they know their food, they didn't have to check what was safe for me as a celiac and the food was amazing. Never had a bad meal here, so professional and friendly. A very good place to go for lunch or a pre-show meal.

Christmas staff party, food was excellent as was the service. Absolutely delightful staff, couldn't have been more accommodating.

Lovely lunch, grp of three. Fairly priced, good variety, big portions, overall very tasty indeed. Goof and friendly service. To make it five stars :provide a bowl for olive stones, a bowl of lemon water to dip fingers for eating mussels, provide a full drinks list.

Best food I've had for a while. Never usually go for steak, but by God, the chef can cook one. Steak was accompanied by madieria sauce. Absolutely stunning. 20 out of 10 for the food.

Well what can I say........ best restaurant ever. I'm 55 and Never had better food anywhere else bar this place. Awesome food, super staff and a class of it's own. Amazing XXX

Organised a group meal for 12 people. Had to pay a deposit and also pre-order, including choice of vegetables/salad, etc. All went well and everyone enjoyed their selections from the lunchtime menu.

Arrived for 1.00 booking was asked if we wanted a drink before we had even taken our coats off. When we sat down we were rushed by the waitress to order, we asked for more time. Starters were good but main course of steak emiliane was poor, overcooked and dry we weren't asked how we liked our steak cooked. Have dined here many times but this was not good

Service is terrible, woman server was rude from the start and seemed to have an attitude problem. Wasn’t happy when we asked to add on an extra chair to the table and said we need to call in advance however we called multiple times beforehand with no answer. Rushed to order as if we were just a bother! Food was nice but used to be better, prices have gone up a lot. Didn’t come around to ask if we needed the bill or more drinks. When finally getting the lady’s attention asking for the bill she said hang on and walked away. I’ve had 3 people say how bad the service has been so definitely losing customers! When the bill came, it said food = £ With the price?! Bizzare! How are we supposed to check if it’s correct?!? Again she came over and rushed us all completely to pay and then walked off with no goodbye or “ thanks for visiting” probably the worst service I’ve had in a restaurant yet. Used to be a family favourite place but will not be returning again sadly.

Went here for my husband's birthday and it was excellent. The food and wine was amazing. Our party of five really enjoyed.

Great place for food and drink. Went here for a Christmas meal with my colleagues and thoroughly enjoyed; would seriously recommend the baked goats cheese from the Christmas menu and their homemade steak burger was super tasty! The service was really friendly too. They have a great team of hard working people here and it shows.
