I absolutely love Joe's, and expected it to be ridiculously busy in St Helens (as always) but surprisingly it wasn't! The ice cream needs to comment, it's Joe's! The store has the line managed well, better than mumbles, which avoids chaos inside! I always have the raspberry crumble sundae!

Best ice cream in Wales. Have always gone to Joes since I was little. It’s a family favourite! You can’t find one that tastes like this anywhere else (Can’t beat the fresh scoops from store!)

Beautiful Ice cream if you get the fresh scooped stuff. The frozen ice cream in the back is also delicious but the scoop is where it is at. The price might look high but I assure you worth every penny. The staff are also very nice and if you go there at the right time of day your served within seconds. During the summer be warned that the queue often has more than 20 people in it so plan accordingly and you'll have yourself a great treat

The best ice cream ever, it's worth making a trip to Swansea just for this, even if you're in John O Groats.

Tried Joe’s ice cream and honestly wow! I had the chocolate and vanilla flavour. The vanilla was definitely my favourite! The ice cream was so good I almost forgot to take a pic, so here’s what was left of it 🤣

It's a must to eat here when you visit Wales. This branch, though, doesn't serve fresh ice cream flavors aside from vanilla. The branch in Mumbles does, so it's even better to try out their flavors from there. Expect more crowds, though. They are well known for their vanilla ice cream and for good reason. It would be nice, though, if all branches served the different flavors.

I recently visited Joe's Ice Cream in the heart of Swansea and it was a delightful experience! The ice cream parlor offers a wide variety of flavors, from classic favorites to unique and creative options. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, helping me choose the perfect flavor. The quality of the ice cream was exceptional, with a creamy and smooth texture that melted in my mouth. The flavors were rich and full of depth, and I was impressed by the attention to detail in each and every scoop. Whether you are in the mood for a classic vanilla or a more adventurous flavor like salted caramel, Joe's Ice Cream has got you covered. The atmosphere of the ice cream parlor is perfect for families, friends, and couples alike. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, Joe's Ice Cream is a great place to relax and enjoy a sweet treat. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous, making it a great value for the quality of the product. Overall, I would highly recommend Joe's Ice Cream to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying ice cream experience. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat on a hot day or a fun date night, Joe's Ice Cream is the perfect destination. So if you're in Swansea and looking for a top-notch ice cream parlor, be sure to check out Joe's Ice Cream!

Restored my faith in humanity.I contacted them when I realised I had left my handbag there with passports and credit cards inside. Not only did the staff send it to me the next day ( I was staying 4 hours away) but they paid for the delivery out of their tips. Please tip them well on my behalf.

No doubt that Joe's ice cream is amazing. Unfortunately we were there today and there was film crews everywhere and I had a push chair and it didn't feel like we were welcome to sit in and nearly tripping over tripods on the way out. The owner kept looking at us as if to say we were in the way. Shame. Will just get a take away next time.

Although I do not live in Swansea whenever I visit I always make sure I get a visit to Joe’s ice cream parlour. The parlour is nothing special but the ice cream is out of this world. I always chose the vanilla with chocolate sprinkles.

The ice cream was excellent, but only serves vanilla ice cream, so don’t keep your heads up that there will be multiple flavours.

Service: Unfortunately, after purchasing ice creams my wife asked if my toddler could use their bathroom, staff refused on the basis that the seating area was closed and the toilets had already been cleaned for the day. The quaint family-run business failing the vibe check spectacularly and behaving like some multi-national coffee chain.

The ice cream is the best and very popular and famous in South West Wales. The peach melba Sunday and the chocolate cone we had were delightful and service was quick. The attached parlour was functional but not inspiring, hence the 4 stars. The ice cream is always 5 star.

I love a Joe's ice-cream and I would have given this a 5 star review if it was just for the ice-cream. We decided to go here on the 1 day we have no rain in Wales, as we have not been since it had its refurb and have been eager to go since hearing about it. Sadly the service, I go as far as asking what service? As it was appalling ... There was not many seats available as they did not seem to increase the number of seats, despite freeing up alot of upstairs by getting rid of the old toilets After waiting 10 minutes to jump on a table someone just got off, I had to rejoin the long queue in the cold to then take it to the table indoors. All the staff consisted of teenagers and all seemed really flustered and overwhelmed, despite pumping out orders. If you are prepared to have a takeaway then great, but it may be wise not to come here if your planning to sit down and chat. They should of thought about how to cater for table service. As Joe's is always growing in popularity and in Swansea it is recognised as historical to Swansea. They should put more effort in to the service side more, as the Mumbles parlour is just as bad in this area, depsite being much larger. Honestly, if this parlour was just a little window where you would have takeaways, then it would be 5 stars ... however, if you have any form of seating it should be treated differently.

Lovely ice cream parlour, a main staple of Swansea for decades. The normal variety of ice cream flavours with some new additions, like ice cream cookie sandwiches and cookie and creme ice cream. (Pictured) Personally I did not like the cookie and creme ice cream, I found the cookie dough pieces too salty and sweet and took away from the nice crumbly biscuit Oreo/cookie pieces. Can recommend a choc sundae with nuts and sprinkles.

I love Joe's ice cream ..don't have it often enough! 😂.. I did notice how the sundaes are much smaller than they used to be and the price had risen quite a bit ..only 2 small scoops of ice cream ..£3.70 .. could have been bigger for the price but as always very enjoyable 😁

The ice cream is absolutely amazing! I'm a frequent visitor. I'd recommend their standard vanilla ice cream with some sprinkles, you won't regret it. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

What a gem it was was to find Joe's on our recent holiday in Swansea. The best ice cream I have ever tasted in my 75 years! After two visits for double boule cones we took an 8 boule ice box to out flat to be consumed at leisure. DO NOT MISS THIS and even make a detour if you are in the general area. Thanks Joe.

Joe's ice cream is without a doubt the best ice cream on the planet! Zero ice crystals and that delicious creamy texture satisfies the taste buds every time! 🍦 My personal favourite is the strawberry marshmallow sundae with raspberry sauce and nuts and chocolate on top. 🍧 Joe's have a range of ice creams but the vanilla is to die for. They have a range of takeaway tubs and even sell ice-cream cakes! 🎂 The cafés also sell cakes, hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and seasonal specials, so you don't have to have ice cream. They offer dairy free sorbets, too. 🍋 Joe's have cafés across Swansea, one in Cardiff and one in Llanelli. They're all great and the high standard of their products are always the same. 🎯 Worth a visit if you're new to the area, or if you're a local 👍

My childhood favourite was and it’s still the best after 40yrs! On the flip side, me and my siblings drove from London for a day trip on Saturday and we stopped by in the afternoon and tucked in. After dinner in the evening we decided we take our last trip for desserts again, before we head back on the M4 but the shop was already shut at 8.16pm to be precise when the close of business is advertised at 8.30pm. Little disappointed..

Just had my usual treat from Joe's in llansamlet triple tub and chocolate sprinkles between each layer, beautiful as usual heard the assistant tell the person she was training to put less ice cream because the chocolate would fill the tub. I am paying for a full scoop of ice cream and expect a full measure for the full price. Not a happy bunny

A long-time family favourite. Unique tasting ice cream, teas, coffees and snacks. Only wish Joe's were to expand eastwards! No other ice cream or gelato comes close. Try the strawberry marshmallow sundae! Highly recommended.

I didn't like ice cream until I tried Joe's ice cream! Absolutely incredible. Their vanilla is amazing but their salted caramel tubs are the best ice cream I've tried in my life.
