1 of the best indoor markets in Wales , unless there is a better 1 that I don't know off.Has everything you will need for the house ,so don't waste time get to the market to get all of the produce that you need and also the presents for Christmas with lots of rapping paper and cards to go with all the toys you can carry. So I have given them a five star's so get on down there soon before all the bargains are sold.

Lovely indoor market with a variety of shops and excellent local produce. Loved the souvenir shop and the traditional sweet shop, as well as the fantastic bakeries and other food stalls. There was a lovely public seating area I could sit to eat the fresh cockles I bought, and everyone was very friendly and helpful, even giving me directions to the railway station. I definitely would love to visit again next time I get the chance to go to Wales!

Feels like I was transported back into the old times. Love the indoor Market, I visited again another day for breakfast and buying bits and bots of food. Had an amazing large custard bun from one of the stalls.

Great market, got a really good buzz about it. Had the best Welsh cakes I’ve ever had in my life here, 10 for £2.60… unbelievable

Electrical stall. About as helpful as a chocolate saucepan. Instead of saying sorry we don't stock ES/E27 (extremely popular now) Bulb holders he goes through the the whole schpeel of how they are not British standard fitting. No help! Bought the required items an hour later from another supplier.

A local market, we were quite surprised by the quality of food, veg and meat. We tried welsh cakes, freshly baked and warm that were a fab match for a coffee. We were there with a baby, there were a few baby changing toilets. Pretty specious that was very helpful with our little one. I really recommend this market, we would not have know about it if one of the locals wouldn't kindly introduced that to us.

I love visiting Swansea Market. There are so many different shops and stalls. There's a couple of lovely bread (bakery) stalls to choose from. A really good selection of fish mongers with really fresh local produce. Some really nice little trinket and gift shops. You'll be able to find anything from electrical goods to beauty products and lots more in-between.

Atmospheric, traditional market with lots of individual stalls selling anything from clock's & watches, old fashioned sweets, pet supplies, newspapers, clothes, plants, crystals & incense, as well as indoor bakeries, seafood/fish mongers, grocery products (fruit & veg), butcher's, health food store, a variety of cafes catering for all tastes (the freshly baked Welsh cakes are strongly recommended). Various entrances to the market depending where you are. Swansea market is definitely "the beating heart" of the city.

The largest market in Wales has nearly everything you could need and want from an indoor market. This indoor market feels like a walk-through time with its many fresh food stalls and its massive glass/clad roof. Navigating through this Market is easy for someone who uses it regularly, but can be a bit of a pain if you are looking for a particular shop. If you are visiting you must try the fresh Welsh Cakes from one of the centre food stalls. This market is the true heart of Swansea ...

A huge variety of stalls. Friendly, bright, clean and spacious. The well-appointed open seating area where you can consume your drinks and takeaways from nearby stalls is very much appreciated. Some great local produce, Gower Meat and Fish, Cockles & Lavabread. Fresh fruit & veg; hardware, clothing, jewellery, alterations and mending, hobbies & toys, Christian bookstore, newsagents and cafes aplenty. Everything you want from a market and a great reason for visiting Swansea.

Great place, Café Janet is really good for food and a cuppa. The market has a really good feel about it and is very clean, when in Swansea we always go there, we live 1 1/2 hrs away, but well worth the journey,

Still a really good market amazing seafood especially the cockles. It has a nice militarily shop and a old school retro games and toy shop in the corner off the market called console action. Good cafes too. Not much it doesn't have its still the hub of Swansea everyone should make use of it your money is going to real people not teach fat cats.

Really enjoyed it. Cockles were very tasty indeed. Bit of a treat: first time in about 20 years where I could eat cockles with a cocktail stick. Vibrant and charming. Welsh cakes were yummy.

Excellent variety of stalls covering so many services and needs. Had my face and eyebrows threaded and tinted and hands and toes done for holidays thanks to the lovely Rani. Still perfect after 2 weeks. The hubby loves the veg and meat stalls too. A fabulous array of food stalls to eat in too. Great customer service all round. X

There is something for everyone in this wonderful market. Lots of food, meat, fish and vegan to choose from. Every corner you look there are different items and stalls. We sat in the "garden" and it was a lovely atmosphere with live music playing. There needs to be a few more toilets available, but there is a baby changing table in every toilet. Along with a disabled toilet and an adult changing toilet.

I love Swansea Indoor Market and the wide variety of stalls here. The fresh produce I find is always of an excellent quality. There is an ample selection of food stalls too, which the Thai and Japanese stalls being my favourite. The Butchers at Gower Butchers are great, so friendly and very helpful when helping you pick the right cut. When we lasted visited the Market was holding Easter activities for the kids during the half term and the kids really enjoyed all the activities and meeting Peter Rabbit. It was nice to see such an effort being made, as many of the kids won’t have attended an event like this before because of COVID restrictions.

👍👍 A well established market running the 2nd Sunday of every month and weekly during June, July and August. A very good selection of good available from independent small businesses.
