Great park to let your dog run free off lead, not too muddy and not too busy mid week. Pokémon stops & gyms everywhere. Little cafe serving a nice variety of meals and drinks.

Love the ambience at Gnoll Country Park. Plenty of space to set up for a picnic, as well as a number of tarmac / packed dirt paths, both around the lake and through the wooded areas. Great for family groups, particularly those with kids, as there is a playground beside the park cafe. Parking is £2.80 for four hours, which is very reasonable. Highly recommend this place for nature lovers and bird photographers.

A lovely, tranquil place to spend the day watching the many birds on the lake there including beautiful swans, Canadian geese, moor hens & ducks. Very picturesque & well maintained, no rubbish lying around. Next to the visitor centre is a play park for young children. The visitor centre has a cafe where refreshments can be purchased. Again, nice & clean. Toilets were also clean. Staff very friendly & helpful in directing me to an area where tree planting was taking place by The Woodland Trust, the reason for my visit. Will definitely be returning in the future to see how my hazel saplings are doing & for a nice day out. Highly recommend a visit.

Lovely country park with forest and countryside walks. Children's play area with rides which also caters for disabled children and there's also an adventure play area. There is plenty of car parking but fees are 2.60 for 4 hours and 3.60 for all day which aren't bad. the coffee from the cafe was a let down as I expected it to be fresh coffee and not instant.

Very relaxing, short stroll. Just the right distance for the heavily pregnant partner. Lots for the kids and extremely tidy. We we're lucky enough to catch a great Rainbow 💙

A lovely park to walk around. We visited during half term and it was surprisingly quiet. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. Most of the footpaths are wheelchair/pushchair friendly. It depends how far into the woods etc you go. I did find it difficult to work out where the paths lead and there wasn't any clear visible map to show the park where what lead so we ended up pushing the pram up a hill which then became rocky and a bit more off road. The paths around the lakes and grounds were fine. Just would of been handy to have had a map of the park showing routes and if they are suitable for prams. Parking was £2.80 for up to 4 hours which was reasonable. I wouldn't probably spend longer than that there. There is two fairly sized parks which are both very well maintained and suitable for different age groups. My 4 year old loved playing in both of them. There was also a cafe at the entrance where you can have some food and icecream. There was picnic benches by the car park but would of been handy to have more further into the park then just regular benches but there was plenty of room for picnics so remember to take a picnic blanket!

Nice large grounds to explore, has been tailored for families and kids though, with play areas dotted around. The Cascades are impressive and would love to see them in full flow. On site ice cream parlour is good!!

Went to visit the classic car show but would return again soon. Lovely park with lake and woodland walks. Look out for the animal wood sculptures. Parking costs very reasonable and so is the cafe. All in all, it is a nice place to spend a few hours.

I love this place...so beautiful, pleasant and relaxing. It offers so much variety; peaceful walks, woodland adventure, wildlife, and leisure/play areas. I use it to run Forest School sessions, and it provides me with the environment in which I'm most happy.

A lovely park but round the perimeter some neglected areas with broken concrete and barbed wire. Not a park to go off piste.

Fabulous family day, feeding the ducks geese and swans. Lovely walk in the woods to find the wood carvings and the obligatory visit to the cafe for hotdogs

Beautiful country park located near Neath Town centre. It has a small lake, two parks for the kids, a lot of green space for picnics, ball games with the kids etc. There are plenty of walking trails here also. The visitor centre has a cafe inside. I had my usual coffee and the kids had an ice cream. Service was quick and staff were polite. There was also duck food on sale which was nice to see. We didn't buy food as there is a supermarket nearby where we picked up some food for a picnic. There is plenty of parking available although it is pay and display. I think it was £2.80 for 3 hours and £3.80 all day. The meter also accepts cards, which is always handy. I would recommend visiting if your looking for a cheap day out where you can get a few steps in and keep the kids entertained for a few hours.

Great place to go anytime of the year to blow the cobwebs off, or as a nice walk after a Sunday lunch. Some nice carvings in the fallen down trees, it's a great place for all ages

A firm favourite of ours, takes about an hour to walk around ( with little legs) pushchair accessible, to get to the ruins it's a bit harder with the small wheels on the pushchair but manageable, lots of places for the children to run and and play as well as the park for wheelchair users which is amazing!

Lovely place for a stroll for a few hours, a little cafe for drinks and food and an ice cream shop, you only pay for parking which was less the £3 for as long as you want

Lovely for a walk with dog or children. Very busy though. Full of life. Little funfair rides for the little ones. Plus river with wildlife.

👍👍 As local parks go, we are so lucky to have this one so near to our home. There are loads of variations of play things for every age group to try and explore. Well done Neath Council!!!
