I saw two psychiatrists here, and both were cold and empathyless. One just sneered at me, saying, repeatedly, "That's your opinion", in response to a criticism I made of the 'help' I had received up to that point. He showed no concern for how I had been suffering. The other one sat there laughing in response to something I showed him that I had written. Unprofessional and evil. There is no connection between any of these people or others in mental-health services in this town, so distressing experiences have to be recounted again and again as information about patients is not passed along, as it should. I have had zero help from these people, and so my mental health has declined alarmingly, and I am now likely to become homeless as a result of these people's negligence. They care nothing for their patients, but only about covering up bad behaviour by their colleagues. Mental-health care in Swansea is a disgraceful shambles, and seemingly the worst in South Wales.

Appalling place for mental health patients to visit. Psychiatric help varies according to who you have to see. No real help. Certainly extremely poor "care in the community" It would be laughable if not so terribly disturbing and disheartening. Letters and appointments from them often never turn up. Carer.

Absolutely disgraceful... Ringing for help and advice for a friend and get the response of "nothing we can do" "ring the police" and "how long is a piece of string" when asked how long an appointment takes to come through... I am speachless! If that is your attitude get out of the job.... People need empathy and pointing to the right places to get help...

Been under the care here for approximately 3 years..... havent been listened to from day one, and only get asked ,,,DO YOU WANT ME TO INCREASE YOUR MEDICATION !!!!..... No I dont medication isn't the long term answer to mental health .... What really has got to me tho is this..... yes we are in unprecedented times and services are not 100% up to speed atm.... but I've gone from quarterly appointments to..NOT HAVING ANY COMMUNICATION VIA, LETTER, TELEPHONE, EMAIL ETC.... FOR ALMOST 12 MONTHS !!!!! SUPPORT ????....I dont think so

I've had one phone call off my since the start of the pandemic and that's only because I rang first. Trying to get through go anyone or make an appointment is like trying to get blood from a stone.

Claim they never heard of me despite going there on and off for over five years. Say they are going to call me for appointments but never do. Don't recommend it.

Absolutely awful. I'm under them and in crisis. They refuse to help me telling me to call 111 option 2 which is unstaffed. No one answers, you just sit there listening to hold music for hours. Useless heartless bunch of people

Appalling lack of communication and care from psychiatrists and reception staff. Nurses are absolutely lovely people though, shame they’re not in charge I bet they’d actually make a difference

This place is good, this should only be your place in need when in absolute crisis. Doctors and staff are hardworking and within the pressure of demands and covid i think they do a great job and your just a call away if in dire need. People with mental health issues are more used to learning the coping mechinisms therapy has taught them i think its those that have just needed the service and arent getting the care they think they derserve are giving this place low reviews. Its a bloody hospital service not a restaurant. My dr and the physcologists ive seen are great and the e.r.t therapy helped alot. Be patient and this clinic and staff are brilliant dont always suggest to sometimes inaccurate reviews.

Not heard off them since covid started and I used to have regular appointments as i struggle massively... Contact them and no reply or appointment
