Dreadful experience. We ordered cawl but we instead received the equivalent of microwaved frozen veg with boiling water and stock cube thrown in. Worst food I have eaten in my adult life. This cost £18.00 with two teas included. The place should be shut down. An insult to the otherwise excellent Swansea market traders.

Disgusting breakfast, cheap and nasty quality and to top it off hair found in food and all waitress had to say was "sorry its hard, hair is tyed up" Even though she had bits hanging down side of her face. Should wear hair nets as there's still hair in the food. £17 for 2 breakfasts I wouldn't even feed my dog. Best part of the breakfast was the cups of tea. Won't be back again and definitely don't recommend.

Had a full english breakfast today the 17/02/2022 and it was terrible full of grease , the hashbrowns were absolutely soaked in grease and the sausages were disgusting you could not cut them with a knife they would just bust open and the toast was toaster on one side and was cold , and for the cost of £7 its nasty food and that's a honest and genuine opinion of a cafe who obviously buy as cheap as they can to save , as its definitely not good food.

Very good for British classics like Roasted Beef and (highly recommend) Faggots with Mashed. Low priced as well !

Possibly the worst Cheese Burger I've ever tasted. Burger cold, onions half black and burnt the other half raw, and it cost £5!! Absolute joke not even worth £1. I will never spend another penny in this place, and advice you not to bother going there.

Terrible food and very expensive. Chips were greasy and covered in dark brown fat, obviously hasn't been changed in a while. Avoid at all costs

Almost £25 for 2 turkey dinners and 2 drinks. Turkey was dry, pigs in blankets burnt, roast potatoes were tiny and burnt solid. Wish I'd read the reviews before going.

Was going to come here for a hot dog and burger however staff spaying cleang products on the inside glass with burgers and sausages underneith put us off ...should not be spraying cleaning products where food is bei g cooked

The « German sausage hot-dog » was a true scam ! Not at all as showed on the menu photo, no taste and … very (very) expensive ! (6£ !!) With unpleasant staff, laughing after my complain… TO BE STRICTLY AVOIDED !

Vegetarian breakfast, three stars for taste & serving . . Welsh Cawl one Star , tasteless but warm . Hot drinks are OK . Nice/pleasant market atmosphere.

Food is ok, not the best quality for the price you are paying. Fried food is always looking over cooked. Food took over 20 mins despite being told would be around 5 mins. Staff are a bit rude plus they charge you 50p to pay by card which was made illegal in the uk in 2018. If you want a healthier cheaper friendlier lunch I suggest you check out the falafel bar in the middle of the market hall who doesn’t charge you to pay by card

Stale plain food high prices for small portions and staff that seem like they have a disability

Ordered breakfast with coffee, coffee never came even though paid for it and asked 3 times, the breakfast was terrible NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered fish and chips take away. Paid £7.99 which they said was on offer. Was given the tiniest fish I have ever seen with burnt chips and stale mushy peas. When I politely expressed my displeasure, the lady in the counter was blunt and almost rude and said that she can’t do anything about it. Didn’t want to create anymore fuss and left politely. Had to bin the box straight away bought lunch in Subway instead. Paid in good will to help a small business, but learnt my lesson. Will avoid them like wild fire.

Great food, very delicious. Lovely staff, very clean café. Fully recommend to anyone visiting Swansea and the Market.

Best roast dinner I’ve had. Didn’t have much expectations from the market, but saw someone have a roast dinner and thought I’d give it a try! I ordered the roast beef and Wow!! I did not expect that! Beef wasn’t tough like many High end places I’ve tried and the veg and gravy was delicious! I would highly recommend! Great other food selections there too!

Unfortunately a really bad experience here. We ordered a breakfast baguette and a vegetarian breakfast. We were told that they did not come with a drink even though every piece of advertising said they did. We then proceeded to wait 20 mins before we were asked if we had even ordered. 5 mins later we had our food (without an apology) and it was not very well cooked and extremely disappointing. I love to support small businesses but unfortunately I will not be coming back here.
