We were a party of four on a visit to Harties.Around lunch time we stopped at the Fork and Knife as it looked like a good place. We were met at the door by two very enthusiastic young men who took us to our table. As soon as we were seated Dennis presented himself as our waiter. He presented us with the menu's and took our drinks order. He quickly returned with our drinks and took our order. In the meantime making sure as well that our food were being prepared as we warned him that we all were ravenously hungry. The food arrived as we ordered it, per specification. Every meal was perfectly prepared and well portioned. The food was well worth the money spent. I will definitely stop again at the Fork and Knife when we're around Harties. Need a massive revamp. It has a very dark old atmosphere. Very VERY depressing but food is great fresh and beers on tap are cheaper than usual with other places. But they must revamp

Did not eat here, I have to honestly say that this place exceeded my expectations on Atmosphere, and service at the bar was top class. Karaoke 🎤 was so much fun. Would go again.

This is a very nice restaurant for a lekker kuier. Good bar and a big menu of beers, wines, shooters etc. On special. Good meals and great steak options to choose from. Little bit pricey but you get value for money. Smoking area available inside and outside. Small kiddiesbplay area. Waitrons are also friendly however we ordered a single schnitzel they brought a double schnitzel. Either than that issue we had a good time with a great atmosphere and good music taste.

This is a pub style restaurant with great food. We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant, and their house specialities are awesome value for money. Highly recommend this for an informal lunch or dinner. The best dishes in our opinion is the Lamb Curry and Lamb Liver and onions with Mash

Great place to chill for a few drinks. The foods sub standard. Had the steak, poor quality.

Watched the 23’ Rugby final at this restaurant- great vibe, good food and good service at reasonable price! Highly recommended when in Harteez!

Stopped for lunch, must admit I expected more food was every bland and service was ok. Considering we were one of 3 couples at the restaurant, wont go back in a hurry just my opinion.

Good for watching a rugby match. Food is okay and beers are cold. Nothing to fancy but staff are great.

Terrible restaurant. Food is awful no atmosphere, and management are rude. The only good thing about this restaurant/pub is their waiter's who are friendly.

Was rather quiet today but a quick stop for a cocktail or 2 is worth it

My husband always has the liver and mash. Firm favorite. I normally have a chicken schnitzel but it was dry the last time.

Great service by the waiter, he was friendly from the time we were seated up until we left. Food was good, served on a hot plate which was pleasant, menu a bit pricey but the portions weren't to bad. Great Lime milkshake!!

I can only recommend Fork and Knife, we visited them over and over and never been disapointed. Value for money, good food and very friendly staff.

Very nice atmosphere. Nice to have a beer after a long week on a friday. Foods prices is a bit on the expensive side.

Been going to this pub for many years and have always enjoyed the Irish vibe. There are always friendly waiters and quite a few of them have stuck around throughout the years which is lekker. Beer is decently priced and after moving back to harties after quite a few years I go every week to get the wife and I a beef prego for takeaway which is our all time favourite. The 300g rump steak is brilliantly priced and some of the best steak you can get in the area. Will keep going there as long as we live here.

Freshly prepared, attractively served and delicious. Staff very friendly and ready to assist at all times.
