Under new management. Service was excellent, atmosphere relaxed but sofisticated. Food well prepared and tasty. Small curio shop with great koeksisters and other baked goods, sweets and handmade items. Loved the cats!!!

Love visiting you with kids and friends, nice walking trails for young and old. Kids love seeing animals, beautiful trees, enjoying nature xxx

Nice outing - feels like you left the city behind. Not your normal menu, with "pap & kaiings", tripe and bonemarrow options. Hike options also close-by

Amazing! I have had breakfast and lunch here. Being outside in nature, with Zebras and Ostrich walking around you. Just note: They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Would definetly recommend this place. If you have kids take something with to keep them busy as there is not much for them to do. Kelvin was great and they make a super size awesome cuppucino.

After a lovely hike nothing beats a good breakfast. The atmosphere is fabulous outside under the trees in the shade. I had an omlette good food bit dry, my friensd had a Brunch breakfast and the other a Farmhouse ladies breakfast . New menu. Some portion sizes changed a bit.

Hike in the morning and relax eith a delicious meal afterwards. What a great surprise to discover this gem. Lots of wild animals to see and the giraffs are the star of the show. Small chapel and venue for weddings. The Rademeyer house has been rescued in the nick of time and some rooms are still under being renovated. A wonderfull stoep all around the house adds to the feeling of an out of Africa setting. Highly recommended

Excellent service. Beautiful surroundings. Eating out in the gardens while zebra roam around is an absolute treat. A few vegan options on the menu would make this a regular visit for me.

Mmm, was expecting more, sat outside, table glass was really dirty and was not cleaned, food was ok, maize balls were bland, the burger was a bit better, but nothing to write home about. The place has definitely declined a bit from its heyday a few years ago. Setting is still nice but some maintenance in the outside area wouldn't go amiss. There are just funkier places with better food and service in the vicinity so it's hard to recommend, i wouldn't say it should be skipped but it's not great either. The little shop on the inside has a few nice bits and oddities.

Wonderful experience! Friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant. Love the atmosphere and view. Would definitely recommend! I forgot to take pictures. However the omelette and cappucinos were sooooo yummy.

WORST TREATMENT FROM MANAGEMENT EVER! After more than 10 years of visiting and supporting Rademeyers and witnessing how the MANAGEMENT treat the elderly is disgusting. Repeat customer pensioner lady being shunned by the staff and MANAGER to use the facility far outside. Disgraceful. When questioned the reason for the treatment; a very argumentative and blatant response from both MANAGEMENT was that "it was her problem of misinterpretation". Treat your guests better. We will never recommend Rademeyers for any occasion.

We visited Rademeyers some 4 to 5 years ago, before Covid, for a 70th birthday and were very impressed. Yesterday, friends of ours suggested we go out for lunch, but where to go? We are on the East Rand and suggested what about Pretoria and hence after some searching came up with Rademeyers! Either it has changed hands or has suffered because of Covid. A big disappointment! We opted to sit outside - table was not clean, chair covers grubby and sweet papers on the ground around our area. Ordered our food which took forever to come. Had 3 promises of food coming, the Kitchen is very busy. Food, with the exception of the Chips and Vegetables, disappointing - didn't finish mine. No light in the Mens, Urinal not flushing and no paper towels. Cloth towel provided. Ladies, basin cracked, no paper towels! Seems to be popular with younger set who eat Burgers etc but not for those who remember it in the better times!

I was invited to have breakfast there on Saturday morning. We were in a ladies' group so we were in a little dining room. We were served a buffet breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled tomatoes and chips with tea or coffee or juice. The atmosphere was surreal because Rademeyers is set in a game reserve. We saw a few zebras and ostriches near the restaurant. People go on the walking trails and then have a bit of breakfast or for something to drink. I'd love to visit you.

Lovely restaurant, staff always friendly and helpful.....some even remember you when visiting again, as we do after hiking the routes.

Beautiful outdoor area to eat after a hike. Pasta and pizza were good. The quiche was not quiche though, it didn't have any crust though so it was more of a frittata

I had my 60th birthday at Rademeyers, and everything was exactly as I wanted it to be. All my guests agreed that the food was divine and the service was excellent. Thank you to Lizelle and her team for making my birthday so special! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

A great walk in Moreleta kloof nature reserve followed by a drink and sandwiches. Family friendly but no dogs allowed.

I have eaten for the second time at Rademeyers, and I have yet to see where customer care wasn't there. The food is good, the environment is relaxing and beautiful especially during spring, and it's the perfect place to stop by to grab something to eat, especially if you do the walking route around the place. Definitely one of my favorite places.

The waiters are overly keen to seat you when you stop. And that is where the service ends (what did I expect...). Add on a disappointing bready, dry, tasteless ham and cheese quiche and you earn yourself a 2-star.

A rustic country setup in the nature reserve. Lovely facilities and different options where to have lunch. Buffet well prepared and tasteful. Friendly service. Reservations recommendable. The area is popular for functions and the surrounding area for walking and wildlife viewing.

Lovely setting in the Moreletapark Nature Reserve. We had pizzas and sandwiches that were okay, not great. Do take the opportunity to hike the popular trail in the reserve (free entry). Lots of animals to be seen eg zebras, springbuck, ostriches, blue wildebeest etc.

After walking on the trail I purchased a cheese, tomato and egg sandwich with a cup of Rooibos tea. It started to lighting, thunder, and rain but the service continued. I am very pleased with my meal which was done perfectly and the price was very reasonable. I recommend Rademeyers restaurant.

Great 5km walk! Nice restaurant to have something afterwards in open air! Great food and the prices are unbelievable!! R75 mid week special for a Big 5 pizza and R75 for vegetarian pizza!! It believe the specials will be different on the weekends, but we loved our walk!!

Great location for Sunday lunch. Service was friendly and efficient...thank you Edward! Food on the table varied... my T-Bone was tasty and cooked well, salad fresh and inviting; other meals were fine and only those who had calamari said it needed seasoning. Will go back.

Great atmosphere, game roaming freely, waiters forgetting full order. Kelvin did not say thanks for the significant tip I gave, perhaps staff are over-worked but for a basic meal it's a great place for breakfast/lunch. Pizzas look amazing so I'll try that next time

Great service, there is a friendly black cat that may just decide to sit on your lap (the sweetest moment).

I would not recommend the restaurant at all. We arrived with our dog which on one of the sites it said it's pet friendly and when we got there we were told we are allowed to have our dog there, so when we got to the entrance they retracted their statement because the manager changed his mind and said we can't have the dog there because of the zebras which I completely understood and they should have left it there but then they said they will put us away from the zebras and the customers, in the back corner. So we went there and it was very dirty and when we were about to order they came and told us we had to leave because the manager doesn't want the dog to scare off the zebras that was not even close to us or could see us. Very, very poor service and I find it very rude that the manager could not come and explain to us themselves but instead kept sending the poor waiter. I will never go there again or recommend this place to anyone and if I can give 0 stars I would. Not only for the service but the hygiene aswell.

Honestly the best potato mash I've ever had! Pizza was great as well and well priced. Drinks were a bit expensive but not that bad. Environment was amazing, especially if you like early 1900's styles.

A quick stop off for a cup of coffee after a lovely hike :) there are many animals here and a quaint restaurant nestled in a little bit of bush life in the heart of the city. Definitely will come back for a lunch. The price on coffee/tea is R25 on ave. The staff are welcoming and friendly 😊
