Beautiful rustic eatery and bar. Atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are great. Definitely a place to visit when in the area.

The service from our waiter Dolly went out of her way to make sure everything at our table went smoothly. The restaurant was very busy but we did not wait long for the food. The eisbein was done to perfection, the mutton curry was tasty and the vegetarian bake delicious. We will definitely come more to this restaurant.

A great place to always visit. Very popular over weekends and has an awesome atmosphere on a Sunday. Great music, and awesome crowds of people. Service was perfect and the food is just delicious.

Lovely pub with a great menu. Tasty Veg Burger Meal. Reasonably priced with a good portion. Service is a bit slow hence 4 🌟.

As always, the service is poor and slow however they are really friendly, but i suspect it is due to poor management not scheduling enough staff and no manager visited out table, deinks take long to arrive. The vibe is always great, the food is proced good and is always good. The benched does need some upkeep. Still one of our favorite placed to go to in harties

Great place to sit down and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had the bikers breakfast. Plate was full of breakfast food. Enjoyed the breakfast!!!! Great vibe! Received great service ! Recommend this Restaurant any time !!!

Had such a nice lazy Saturday lunch here. Eisbein was tops and Washington just made our day with his smile and excellent service. Thank you also to the management team as I can see you know what you are doing.

One of only a few places who has survived Covid and is still providing the same experience which they are delivering for decades. Sit under umbrellas and lovely trees and listen to live music. Everybody is welcome from BIKERS to kids. There is a large kids playing area. Wooden seats with no back support. All outdoor. When the weather is good, it is a great outdoor venue. The service is efficient, not fast. There is a seperate dedicated bar. Toilets are generally clean. My 500g T-bone was tasty, but looked a bit small for 500g. Will take my scale with next time. Haha. Pap and gravy was great as a sider. Chicken snack basket was good. It is worth the visit when at Harties. Must say Harties has deterioted and many places we're closed or closed down. A plus was there was metro cops for first time to get people moving faster through the tunnel. Prices are not cheap and there is a variety on menu. Not much to offer for Vegans or Vegetarian.

The atmosphere is great and lively, live artists singing on weekends, place for kids to play , secure parking and the food is incredible!!!!

Really great pub, music and party venue on a Sunday if you want an out-of-town trip to Harties. Thoroughly recommend their Eisbein

We had already tucked in when we decided to take photos of our meal. The Upperdeck Restaurant is abuzz...good food, good service and fantastic live music will have us returning time and again. We weren't too hungry so we ordered burgers that were made in good time and was quite delicious, including the side of chips. Milkshakes were okaaay. The music was great. They have a varied menu and judging from the plates leaving the kitchen, the crispy eisbein was a popular choice. The music was amazing. Great crowd, including a groom asking for shots because he was tying the knot, awesome vibe and the music was fantastic...did I mention that?! An adjoining flea market, the many arts, craft and fruit stalls that pepper the street, makes for interesting browsing while you walk off your meal. Have a few hours to spare? While them away at the Upperdeck.

We ended off our Harties day at Upperdeck Restaurant. They had a Barcardi cocktail special, for R25 per cocktail - oh and I had a field day! We had lamb curry with poppadum and sambals for eats. Wow! The best lamb curry I’ve ever had; it was so good, we even forgot to photograph the meal🥲.

Great place for kids to play. Nice Sunday outing. Love the bands and the mojo jar the blue one is the best!

Outing to Harties for the day and decided to have a bite to eat at Upperdeck. Although it was very busy our waiter was very friendly and quick to take our orders. From the start he apologized for some of the items not available due to the deep fryer being broken so we all opted for burgers and steak burgers. Even though we waited a while the food was worth the wait. Those burgers were juicy and well cooked, the best I've had in a very long time, they were perfect.

Amazing restaurant near Harties. Open air, band performing over weekends and rhe food is really good. Eisbein is always a winner with the real man size portion.

Popped in to the Upper Deck restaurant on our way back from a holiday resort.Decided to have breakfast.We both ordered the Bikers breakfast,@R80 was good value for the money.Breakfast was good.Service was a bit slow.The place was reasonably empty For a Friday morning, maybe we were a bit early.There are over a hundred tables ,so I can imagine that the place pumps when busy,There are a couple of bars there as well..Also there is the Upper deck bus which you can book for between R350 - Approximately R450.For a tour around the area.Which includes four drinks.The toilets are clean. There are also a few stalls that you can browse around in.Disappointment was the condition of Hartebeespoort dam. Full of Hyacinthas.

We haven't visited Upperdeck in years, but my Dad always said that they had the best eisbein. So we had to pay them another visit so see if it was still the same as he remembered. We were a table of 6 people and 5 of us had the eisbein. Nobody was disappointed!! It was massive and super crispy! Served with some tasty chips too! We went on a public holiday, there was a good vibe with live music and many other diners. Despite them being really busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food at all. Our server was extremely friendly and even made a few jokes. I would definitely go back! Maybe on a Friday night since that's when the Eisbein is on special 😁

Whilst previously having experienced 4 star quality & service, yesterday we arrived with our 3 small dogs (because we read they were pet friendly) but they don't alow dogs. The market next door was not a problem though. Pity

Really good outing for a weekend... and a really good choice if you like some Belgian beers like Hoegaarden or Leffe on tap...

We stopped at the restaurant on a Sunday, for lunch, taking a break in our motorcycle ride. Greeted by friendly staff at the entrance. The place was very busy, but we got a nice table, not too close to the stage hosting a live band. Had a few starter dishes and listened to the covers of some rock hits. A pleasant experience, overall.

Very friendly environment. Outdoor restaurant. The waitress Brenda went out her way to serve us. Excellent customer service. The food we ordered was excellent and the coffee. Even the manager went out of his way to get certain info for us.i recommend this place for anybody to relax and eat there. It is a place for Fam and kids as well. Enjoy people you won't regret visiting Upper Deck.

This is such a great place... It feels like home, away from home. The service was amazing- our waiter kept coming to check up on us, all the staff were really very friendly... The food was AMAZING and not to pricey (chicken strips are to die for) 😂 and the Jam Jars were great. Bathroom was clean and tidy. There was a live band playing and the overall vibe was just amazing... Would definitely visit this place again and would definitely recommend it to anyone
