It’s actually sad to leave your house to have breakfast and find unpleasant foods that u have to pay for. Today we waited 40 minutes before we could get our food then we are told there’s no white bread after telling the waiter I don’t eat brown bread ,he brought me this burnt crust toast . I don’t know what’s really having with your restaurant because last month we were given burnt onion rings and we understood and we were also given a bad attitude when we tried to address the issue..today was the burnt toasted and bacon . M so disappointed

Terrible, toilets not clean, pumpkin sour, goody burger had no sauce as depicted in the menu, when the waiter was questened we were told that they don't put sauce on a goody burger. The waiter tried but clearly the food is not up to standard. Will not see me again.

We visited this place on a weekend with friends for lunch. The place was very spacious, there was a very good play area and I found many kids playing. Many people were even celebrating their birthdays here that day. The staff offered them a birthday song and a complimentary ice cream. We ordered both veg and non veg items, cappuccino, and waffles. Everything was so good.

Overall, nice service. The atmosphere is nice. Place is very spacious, clean, and the staff is always checking up on you and very much polite. Highly recommend👌

Terrible. Coffee tastes like the service Overpriced and bitter. The staff are indefferent and don't particularly care about the patrons unless they going to make money on tips. No value what so ever. Staff need a wake up call. We won't be back.

I must say this time around the service has really improved a lot...my family and I were served by a lady called Zanele..she was a darling,very patient when we could not make up our minds in terms of deciding what to eat,very attentive and super friendly..featuring the food was delicious!!! I would most definitely come back here again

We visited early evening on a Saturday, first time in years. What an unexpectedly pleasant experience. Friendly waiters, nice atmosphere, great lady looking after the kids in the play area. The food was really good! We enjoyed it way more than expected

Place busy..coffee machine not working properly...drinks took over 25 min to come and had to request the store manager on where the food is...food not according to order and egg shells found on the egg...could have been a better expierence due to the brand...could be that they where to busy and could not manage the patrons

This is the worst Spur ever. Service if waiters is very bad. We had to walk out from this restaurant after sitting for 15mins without a waiter even taking drinks order. Waiters not properly trained and no teamwork. We will never come there again.

The food took a bit long to arrive at our table the chips was lukewarm and way too much cheese on the chicken snitzel but the service was great and the my fiance enjoyed her Burger and Chips.

We had my sons birthday at Spur, he had all his friends and family....all in all 25 people. Our waiter Kevin was just the best and the staff were quick with service and kept everyone happy. Prices are a bit much, have gone up quite a bit but what in life hasn't. All in all a good experience

We arrived 21:30 and the staff already started cleaning and allowed us to order main course. Just after we received our main course they switched of the aircon in the smoking section where we where seated,and refused to serve us desert. The smoking area was filled with flies and the staff never even enquired if we were satisfied with the service and it seemed that they just wanted to clean up and go home.

I find this an amazing place for a breakfast or dinner. All the staff are friendly and the food is really good.

So my wife decided to spoil me yesterday and took me out for a special treat away from Home for my birthday, so we booked near by this branch for a night, decided we going to Spur for dinner as I was craving for the famous eisbien which recently introduced on the menu. Upon arrival we were seated down, store was a little busy, we ordered our drinks, starters and made the waiter aware that for main I will be ordering the eisbien which i would like it to be prepared accordingly as I need it to be well cooked and pealing off the bone. while we having our starters they should start preparing it. 1. The starters came well prepared but the nachos corn chips soaking wet from the salsa (why so much salsa?), this I did not enjoy but my wife finished it off as we did not want to draw any attention. 2. Main meal arrived, hmm my favorite eisbien..(sweet Mustard missing that accompanies this meal, i informed the waiter) both my wife and I having the same ,presentation of the eisbien was on point ,however what turned me off? 😒, chewy and rubbery... when I digged In ! Ohk I ignored that but once got to the middle part.. ohh damn this thing is alive 😳 "raw" 😳 😕 . I then checked my wife meal ooohh same "breathing Raw". Food was returned and re cooked however now presentation out of the window, "basting burned on the meal",as this probably put in the oven with basting on.. like I said we didn't want to draw attention so we decided to option for take away as we felt the store Is closing infact closed and we probably were the last the table In the store. 3. We were charged for schnitzels instead of the eisbien on the bill as apparently is the same price as the eisbien. however I'm not sure what could have been technical issues with regards to running the new menu batch and updating the price. But this seemed unprofessional. We advice the waiter to inform snr management to run the new menu batch twice to fix this issue. 4. This reveiw is not a complain or to get anyone in trouble but an honest general feedback about my experience at your branch, I actualy did not want to address this but if i did not then I would not be doing your store any good. Thank you..

We experienced the worst service on Friday 6 October 2023. We were a group of 5 Couples and decided to visit the Spur Silver Falls in the evening. After being sitted, we had to wait minutes just to get the menu, after that we were given the Menus and told to wait. Again minutes passed before the waitress came. She then told us to give her only drink orders. We waited again close to 20 minutes until we asked for the manager. The manager took our orders. Then when they food eventually came one of the group members didn't receive his food. He had to wait minutes while everyone else were eating in front of him. After we were done, I asked the manager to send us a written apology which he promised to do. He took my email address but no apology was received. This is totally unacceptable from Spur Silver Falls. I am a big fan of Spur restaurants, but this time I was shocked by how we were treated.

The service was excellent. The waiter was Busi. Friendly all the time. The food was excellent as well. Sirloin staek wa cooked as requeted. Thank you Silver Falls Spur we will see you soon again. 😊

Yesterday I wanted to try something new and have the rib burger. So I knew spur would be the best spot in Hartbeespoort, I get there to order for takeaway since I had to rush for a late night meeting. My food took a really long time to a point of which even caught the manager's attention! 2 minutes after a little chat with the manager my food is finally "ready". I understood the food took so long so I didn't make it an issue, I get home to a brunt rib burger and I really couldn't enjoy "something new" because my tongue is sensitive to burnt food. Whatever is going on in that kitchen needs to be fixed because there's no way a customer can be late for a meeting only just to eat burnt food. I will come back since the food there seems amazing but I'm pointing out a problem that needs to be sorted out in that kitchen.

I always dine at this place but what happened on the 23.07.2022 was on great distubance and disappointment. We ordered chicken strips for my 2 year old son there was cross contamination of food on our plate. There was also deep fried calamari served on my son's plate. Since we like sharing food as a family i ate a calamari which was added with the strips and that triggered my allergy because i am allergic to shell fish. We had to leave the restaurant early because i had to be treated urgently. 😪

The ambiance is lovely, the decoration is festive. We went there on my sister's birthday and the staff were so loud and excited with celebrating, thank you, you made her and us very happy. There are so so many vegan options and I've tried burgers before so wanted to go for the salad, which was delicious, albeit the "chicken strips" were a bit dry. I enjoy all the discounts you can have at spurs with their cards, like getting free drinks etc. The only issue I had was that the bathroom entry way was in a bit of a mess.

I'm not an advocate of throwing issues at your hardest workers (waitrons) about issues caused by the kitchen and management thereof. We understand you need quick turnaround times but that's no excuse to serve two steaks requested as Medium served blood rare and all the 3 Well-Done steaks served Medium. Unacceptable. I'm sorry but this is completely unacceptable.

Service :excellent (Tumelo, best service we have ever had!) Food :not so good(the fish fingers ordered for the kids were un-edible , tasted like the oil has been used for for a very long time,the T-Bone had a lot of sinew, and also the Rump .) great for kids with an excellent playpark.

It has an antique look and feel. Staff is very friendly and accommodative. The Chef is friendly and cooks very nice. Their bars have plenty variety of any type of drinks.

Very disappointed with spur Village mall. Order the chicken quesadilla. Paid for a full portion and receive only half a portion. This is absolutely disgusting. Dried out. Hard and just sad.

I had the worst experience ever. The waiter was forgetful, to an extent that we asked other waiters to assist us. We made a request that he must ensure our glasses aren't empty, they were forever empty. The ribs for the first time ever didn't taste like spur ribs. It wasn't a great experience but it's located in a very beautiful area
