Always have an amazing time at Dikhololo, the renovated units have been very well done, its is always great to see how the group is constantly investing money back into the resort! One of the best family resorts in SA

The resort is lovely, the accommodations are very nice and comfy. The operation hours of the facilities are not great. The hot pool, outdoor activity, bar, restaurant and shop all close super early leaving you with not much to do in the evenings. The game drive was amazing the animals are beautiful. Just a note that you have to pay for everything here the activities are not included. So budget for this. Game drive was R85 per person which was worth it. Hot pool was R20 for 4 hours Cocktails around R65 Restaurant was pricey normal toasted cheese was R60. Buffet breakfast R150 per person. Coffee around R30 Overall it is a lovely weekend get away resort.

The resort has lot of kids activities that my kids really enjoyed . Dikhololo actually have everything that the family need . We enjoyed our stay and will keep visiting again and again

The restaurant is conveniently located in the main building. Tables are beautifully arranged across the deck around the swimming pool area and the other recreational activities. Nestling the restaurant at the heart of all the activities. There is also a dining area away from the pool area, with a more formal feel to the atmosphere. There is a projector near the bar and sports such as rugby are played on the screen. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the experience more enjoyable.

Was so pleasantly surprised by just how well this resort is run. Accomodation is surprisinglt well appointed, staff amazing and all activities superbly well run and kids had an absolute ball, we will be back for sure!!!

The food was nice 👌 😋 the only thing is the dinner menu is very limited. But overall it was worth it 👌

Very nice and relaxing sitting around the swimming pool under the trees enjoying the relaxing atmosphere with good food and a drink.

This restaurant was our saving grace when we arrived in Dikhololo. We only arrived at 19h00 on Friday night, and I really didn't feel like only starting a fire for a braai so late in the evening, let alone cook dinner in the well equipped kitchen of our chalet. We opted to go eat first after picking up our keys from reception, and then go to unpack our vehicle and move into our chalet. The food was great and well prepared, as well as affordable. We as a family are not much of starch eaters, and would really have loved to at least have an option on the menu to choose vegetables as a side dish on the menu. I was forced to take chips with my steak and my wife had spicy green beans (which she couldn't really eat) with mash potatoes with hers. Otherwise it was a great experience and I love the atmosphere of the place.

The food was just average. We came for breakfast there was no variety in food there was canned fruit as a fruit salad 👎🏼, no scones or muffins it was disappointing.

Absolutely beautiful nature reserve. The facilities were all of the highest quality and kept clean. We can not recommend the Lamb Potjie curry at the restaurant enough. Heated pool and outdoor games had us entertained all weekend.

The restaurant is ideally situated. The service however is very slow. If you do not have the patience to wait, you will be in trouble. I would suggest that the waiters get training in serving people. I love watching the attitude of how they attend to people, and here I had enough time to watch them. Sometimes not to their benefit. The food however was nice and tasty, we enjoyed our food. The 🐝🐝🐝 however were very busy. One evening we were just ordering something to drink and once again I had to stand up and ask to be served. They did not have enough menus, and you could see people getting frustrated. However I enjoyed my hot chocolate. The service was not good I had to go and ask if I could pay then start helping people with menus. The prices are reasonable, the food preparation is good, please just work on the service delivery.

Great option for in resort dining. Food is well prepared and selection is sufficient.

Lunch time …. Lets support the local restaurant. No waiters in restaurant, manager doesn’t even see tables are dirty and so it continues. Overheard an adjacent table telling manager she doesn’t know a first thing in managing a restaurant. I order beef burger only to be told some time later that they have no buns! I think the guy at the table next to me was right, absolutely poor planning. Used to be a pretty good restaurant, not so sure it is worth supporting any longer.

A real gem. Very affordable considering that it is a resort. Absolutely lovely. Such friendly staff. Amazing wildlife. What an absolute pleasure! We will definately be back!. Highliy recommend😊

Well kept and presented dining experience. The seats and tables are well placed and comfortable. For a resort restaurant it gets a double thumbs up.

Dikhololo is the ideal family holiday. Heated pool, main pool is large and some camps have their own smaller pool. Tennis court, mini golf, games room, and many more activities for the whole family. Good restaurant.

Great resort, lots of activities for the young and old. Lots of birds and animals around. Very tame kudzu cow that comes around for a chat. Friendly staff, and good service.

Awesome place to visit. Will definitely recommend this as for a family visit. Service from the staff was very good and helpful.

Besides the fact that the gravel road was long before we reached the place (that was the only downside). Other than that, DIKHOLOLO is a small piece of HEAVEN 💚💚 The weekend Getaway with my crew from 10 - 12 May 2019 was nothing short of amazing 😝😊 If you're looking for a place to just relax & be in touch with nature, Dikhololo is the best place be!!

Amazing place really a kids and parents paradise only real complain is the last 15 km is a horrible car rattling dashboard shaking dirt road that can't be taken on faster then 10km a hour in most parts
