Amazing food and service

A great eatery, sea platter we ordered was delicious and prawns fresh. The waiter was attentive and helpful. I recommend the place. Please keep up the good work.

This is what ocean basket wonderpark calls a fish...I mean a whole fish....wow I'm so angry.....I regret placing this order....

This restaurant is a hit-or-miss. I had to explain to the waitress how ordering the Lunch Box works. She also had a bit of a blocked nose issue and did not introduce herself. The complimentary bread was hard, cold and unpleasant. I had to ask for butter and then got a scoop or margarine instead. See photo. The condiments looked and tasted dried out and stale. The tartare sauce was over-tangy. BUT...... For the main coure we ordered grilled fish and mussels and the meal was succulent and very tasty. Paired with wine, it made up for the otherwise unpleasant experience. Kudos to the chef for saving the day.

I had a horrible surprise when I got home!!! I ordered an ocean bite with a salad as a sit in today 02/02/2024, I also ordered a sea bream and salad as a takeaway. I drive home and there's this heavy smell from my fish, get home open it up and the smell is worse I take one taste of the fish and it was horrible,the fish was rotten!!! I'm already home,how do I even start the car to come back and return it through the traffic even. There goes my dinner!!!

The food is terrible they gave me soggy, mushy rice, which is totally inedible. Prawns are terrible. Total waste of money, my advice would be to go a different Ocean Basket if you want a decent meal.

I am so mad at your Wonderpark Ocean Basket branch. Twice I've had to complain. I went with my family and we ordered 3 platters for 1,on arrival instead of real mussels, we got mussels from the tin from Checkers. When I asked about it they said they ran out of fresh mussels. I asked why we were not informed so we could make an informed decision, we only got a sorry. 2nd incident, I ordered the platter for 1 again as a takeaway, when I got home I got mussels, the tiniest fish I'm not even sure how many prawns were there. Honestly its ridiculous . Have decided to only go to Nina Park because I really love Ocean Basket food. Please improve Wonderpark service, you could lose even more customers

Absolute horrible service! You stand and wait at the door for 10 minutes before someone attends to you. Then you wait 35 minutes for a simple sushi platter and once it comes, it's not even proper sushi. Your drinks het empty and when the glasses have dried up, you might get some attention from your waiter! I do not recommend this branch at all!

I have never been impressed with their service delivery, their service is very slow. If Wonderpark had other sushi outlets I wouldn’t step a foot here.

This is the second time I order at ocean basket via MrD and both times I ordered sea food with an addition of a tartar sauce and on both occasions I have not received the sauce...like the other,I feel that this is no longer a mistake but carelessness and incompetency on your part

Wow!!! The platter was cold and we waited forever for service. Yhoo it was really below the belt for a Saturday afternoon. Day spoiled

The female manager here is not the best person to be assisting customers. I ordered sushi with a mayo sauce on Mr D & my order came without the sauce & she basically said it's not her problem. It's not my problem either as I paid for my order and what happens with my food is between them and Mr D. Rude an unprofessional!

She Enjoyed the food.

Extremely disappointed. I specifically asked to leave the soy dressing and soy sauce out from my order, yet they ignored it. I'm allergic to wheat which is found in soy sauce I even made a note for the delivery and they ignored it. It's all over my food. I wasted my money and now I've got nothing to eat. I definitely will never order from you again as you do not take people's notes and allergies serious.

They don't even deserve a star I'm writing this review while I'm still in this horrible place, the service God😭 the waiters are horrible they don't even give you a smile, they so angry.. No people's skills! And my food was cold! 😡😡😡😡 Mxm never ever... They all look tired like we forcing them to do their job

Comparing tonight's plater with what we had 2 months ago, what a disappointment. Not only was the portion sizes 1/3 smaller, but also not very tasty. Even comparing our 4 platter there were a big difference in quantity. Quality was not the best. The worst part was when I realized that not 1 of the chefs and half of the other staff was working and working without there masks. In these times we are living it is unacceptable. Even the covid officer in the store, did not really care about the complaint.

Female waitress was mean. Chips were cold. Rice was soggy

I ordered a sole mate platter that comes with a salad for take away when arrived at home the salad was not there.called the restaurant and was told the manager will call me back and still he hasn't called back...poor customer service

I ordered sushi and the waiter forgot to add soy sauce. When I returned to fetch it, the manager was kind enough to give me a complimentary 8pc to apologize for the inconvenience. That's amazing customer service! Thank you so much ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The service here is very bad. The people handling food had nothing covering their heads. Our waitress had long nails and long hair. Our drinks were too sweet (cocktail and milkshake) I'd never recommend anyone to come eat here.

Ordered 8pc rainbow sushi and baklava cheesecake via Mr D and the order only came with just the sushi. This is the 2nd time this happens. It's beyond mistakes, the team here is careless. I had to call them, they don't call me. When Sarah answers she immediately knew what I was calling about but didn't bother to call me. She arranged for the baklava cheesecake to be delivered and it arrives cold and without the baklava sauce 😭 which made the dessert just a baked cheesecake 😭 Not what I paid for. No longer ordering via Mr D from this store because the team here does not care at all. You're not gonna get the best experience and definitely not gonna get what you ordered for!

By far the worst ocean basket I've ever been to. I went there yesterday to feed my sushi craving mind you it was not packed by the service was extremely slow. I was given two bottles of soy sauce as per norm but they were refilled so the less salt bottle contained the salty soy, when I brought this to their attention the manager came and said they were aware another customer complained about yhe same thing yet they still gave both bottles and did not care to explain. After eating I ordered a takeaway which took so long to prepare and a dressing was not packed for my salad. Wooo the worst place ever.

Terrible experience.The service was VERY SLOW.Got my drink after 30 min and it was wrong and had to be redone(waited longer).When the food eventually came there was sauce on EVERYTHING which resulted in the food being extremely Soggy!!! Everything just tasted the same. Extremely disappointed as I traveled to feed my cravings however I hardly even ate.

I had the worst experience with my family, we were given a spoilt rice, the chips were not fresh at all. We have been experiencing food poisoning since Saturday night. I regret dining in the restaurant. Yoh! The seafood platter for 2 what a nightmare.

I had such an amazing experience, it was my first time dinning at this restaurant, was assisted by one of waitresses by the name of Ntando, such a bubbly person who gave us great service and she is someone who is very passionate about her work
