Hotel 224 is price friendly.. They have a nice conference centre. Credit card is accepted here. They have a bar that offers varieties of alcohol.. You can get a coffee as well. They have a nice food which is allowed to be taken away if wished.. Security is very effective. The location is very safe as well.. There is an underground car park which makes it very safe.

I stayed for 5 days. Was attending classes that required me to study and prepare for the next day. The noise was unbearable. Couldn't even use a phone to call reception to report cos it was not working. They provide you with tea but no milk, only coffee creamers. Maybe the coffee creamer must be used in tea as well.

This hotel specializes with family rooms, I booked for my family of four at this hotel and the space we got was more than enough and they were even more thoughtful to include kitchen utensils in the room for our convenience. The place is clean their breakfast is great there's no need to go around in the morning looking for food shops if not familiar with the surrounding. I am sure going to use them again should the need arise.

The hotel so so beautiful i went there for vacation for leisure and hey i really enjoyed my self the hotel is very luxurious beautiful inside and out the food was delicious and were amazing and safety is up to standards

I stayed at 224 for weeks! I had a great time! Not only at the hotel but RSA as well. I sincerely hope the current political problems are resolved asap. I can't wait to return.

My phone went missing and no one was willing to assist. They weren't even willing to tell us who was the last person who cleaned our room.

Stayed with a partner over the weekend. It was a very nice place although we pre-booked an apartment but at the reception had to be down sized as they didn't have the room we already booked available anymore but other than that little issue it was nice stay

Very neat and beautiful hotel, I loved it. However the noise levels from other rooms with my time there were a bit disturbing but we managed. I also had a problem whereby before I had breakfast in the morning, I enquired as to do I have to pay for the breakfast and I was told I did not have to pay, just after me and my partner ate the breakfast, we were called at reception to pay R360. Honestly we would've gotten breakfast elsewhere had they told us we had to pay before we ate, it really pushed us out of budget.

The only problem is parking they are too small my car got dent on the left door cos someone was opening his/her door and bump my door now I have dent cos of small parking please open the parkings on schoeman street basement they are too big

This is where you want to stay if you come to Pretoria. Believe me. The most amazing staff!! Not friendly because they have to be, but because they are!! Clean and tidy! They know how to take care of their guests!!!!!

Me and my wife recently stayed at hotel 224 the service ,room ,place ,atmosphere, stuff ,domestic workers , everything was more then great please don't hesitate to visit them friendliest people I have ever met and I'm serious I like to greet people talk ect. Yor they always have a smile and asked if you need assistance defenately going back soon so guys they are on top of their game Hotel 224 is the place to relax have a nice quiet time with amazing food,❤️❤️❤️✈️✈️🥳💯🔥👌

Lovely and very clean hotel in the corner of Pretorius and Leyds streets. I've enjoyed their buffet services and breakfast.

The rooms are small but clean, the bar is also too small, not enough place for people to sit.

Employees are friendly and welcoming, the place is clean but you can hear everything that is happening infront of your room because the rooms are to close to one another and the passage is very tinny. The bathroom is very small for the standard bedroom, the shower caps needs replacement as the water was not coming out properly. They provide a shower gel, shampoo and hand washing gel and hand lotion. The basin you can only brush your teeth it’s very small to be able to wash your face fully. Limited tv channels as most hotels. But I really commend them for clean white sheets and clean rooms as well as bathroom. Oh and you pay R25 for parking.

It was a great experience, the bar was warm and had a good vibe. The staff is amazing

Very nice and beautiful hotel. Nice breakfast and the ribs is very nice. Wifi is very slow. The rooms (apartments) is nice. A bit out dated. Toilets leaks constantly and after its reported nothing gets done.

Staff and service was really great and wonderful at the hotel the only problem was that there was no hot water at all on my trip for 2 day and the bathroom was not that clean.

What a fantastic experience. Staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and accommodating. My daughter is a bit of a strange eater and they made little take away breakfasts for her in the morning. It was that little bit of kindness and initiative that made us fall in love. A lovely staff member named Margret, takes so much pride in her job and arranged that we check out a little late.this was of great assistance to us. Management was amazing and friendly. We only had one small unpleasant situation with a gentleman by the name of Sipho that was unnecessarily rude to my husband. I was feeling unwell and my husband and daughter came down to breakfast. Had their breakfast and wanted to bring me some food in a take away for me. Which had been done before but is seemed to be a problem on this particular day. His rudeness was uncalled for. We spend 2 weeks there and paid alot of money. A little more kindness and a softer approach would have gone all long way. Other than that we had a spectacular time and are incredibly grateful to everyone that made our stay so enjoyable. All the staff that were so incredibly playful and kind to my daughter. It truly was a breath of fresh air. WELL DONE HOTEL 224.

I had a pleasant stay. Warm welcome from the reception. Friendly staff thats including the drivers. Rooms are perfectly clean and free shuttle is a cherry on top. I would definitely come back.

It was the best ever. There is one waitress that is outstanding. Aqua treated us with the utmost respect. She is very friendly and helpful. If I ever stay here again I hope she will be here.

I stayed there for 2 weeks on the apartment site, my room was spacious, excellent service, cleanliness, friendly staff and to put a cherry on top we had a shuttle to and from my place of work. Highly recommended.

The services are amazing, the staff is friendly and the food is great.

Upon arrival (I will add that it was very late), the service seemed fantastic. We required accomodation for 3 people. We booked into a family room, upon approaching the lights in the parking area was dead and there was no lights or electricity in the room. They offered us 2 rooms in the hotel... its late, our car broke down so we are tired and dirty and now stranded, so no other option but to accept. In the rooms we had main lights, NO hot water to get clean, NO power from the plugs, so we couldn't even have a cup of coffee. NO plug power to dry hair to look presentable, we could not even charge our phones (this is NB as we need to contact insurance and sort out the dilema in order to travel home). NO television, NO airconditioning, NO working vending machines. Upon booking in we were never advised of the electricity issue, nor were we given the option if we want breakfast included or not? I feel that paying the amount we paid and the NO information relayed to guests is totally unacceptable!

Nice facilities for only short stays. Staff friendly, can't say the same for managers.

. The restaurant food and service is below standard. The restaurant staff including management behave as though they are doing you a favour hwne you ask for certain services. When I called for room service, I was informed on the spot that they weren't going to offer me some. Claiming to be under staffed.
