Great place, cool atmosphere, nice rooms and the staff is generally very good. A little confusion with staff being able to direct me to my hotel after my car dropped me off at the wrong entrance which caused a long walk after a flight, dragging luggage through the resort. Staff should be better trained to be able to give directions, but this is an easy fix for management and the resort is very good.

Room was clean with the basic things required. 😟 · Taxi from the airport was a total let down. Very disappointed with the service and the drivers unprofessional behavior. Not worth any penny paid, it was unsafe and unpleasant experience.

Staff very accommodating. Always trying to assist in the best possible way. Rooms neat n tidy with bar fridge n TV. Serviced daily. Good location in the hub of the big screen, water fountain for the kids surrounding the many eateries available to sit n chill n watch your important sports matches.

Awesome place. Strategically located and the level of security is just on point You won't need to get out the complex for anything. Breakfast was yummy. Largely had some great staff. Just didn't like the attitude of one of the personnels at the front desk. I still enjoyed my stay anyways.

Only two criticisms...The pillows are so soft that they offer no support and the carpets could do with a deep clean or replacement. The breakfast buffet was not bad and had a great variety but most stations were unattended and the food was good but not great... Room for improvement. Service was good though.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel we went for lunch as a team . Food was nice, service was excellent our waitress(Molemo) was very helpful ,professional and extremely friendly I would give her a 10 star service . We spent over 5 hours in a restaurant. Very peaceful away from the busy areas of monte Casino.

To me the rooms were a bit small but was well equipped and clean. But the atmosphere and surroundings made it all the must worth. Please and friendly staff. Clean surroundings and accommodation staff. Well worth it.

The location is beautiful. We spent the weekend here and had lots of fun. First time trying a butter chicken pasta, which was actually not bad. My wife loves the butter chicken and Roti, it's amazingly done. The winner for me is the seafood pasta! The court area is amazing at night.

Stayed for the weekend. The rooms were so stunning and clean. All the amenities you could ask for on a short stay. And the restaurants around the hotel are amazing!

This hotel can for sure not be a 3 star hotel. I was astonished. Smooth check-in was handled super professionally by Tsepiso. I requested a high floor facing away from Piazza, and no problem, it was allocated to me. The rooms are spacious, with a shower and amenities. The bed, linen, and towels are of good quality. Brilliant, outstanding housekeeping. Working aircon. In room dining is offered. The hotel has been newly renovated. It was extremely well priced. This hotel is right on the piazza with many restaurants and right at the big theater. It has a gym and covered , safe parking. Safe hotel as you can't reach any floor without a room key.

True to its reputation, the food and service were excellent, and the rooms were clean and tidy. They accommodated us last minute and ensured that we were well looked after. Highly recommend.

Restful. The setting creates the feel of long forgotten times of peace and order before the world went mad. Breakfast on the patio was so tranquil, watching kids play in the fountain. Already booked another visit.

We went for a weekend stay cation for our honeymoon and loved every bit: the meals were delicious and the rooms were clean. No complains...if it wasn't for the hunger we would have slept for a whole day!

I recently stayed over at The Piazza Hotel and it was amazing. The staff members were quite helpful and kind, I loved my room, the food was delicious and portions quite big as well, room service amazing. I absolutely loved the gym. Definitely going back!

We were greeted with courtesy and friendlyness. The room was lovely and we had the best nigtrest for the first time in years. The restaurant food and service I give a 5 star rating. Thank you for such a pleasant stay. I will defiantly recommend it to friends and family. Will visit soon.

Waited 40 min for the room. Room was very small, no privacy from bathroom/ room. We booked a room with Queen size bed, we got a double bed. Toilet and shower very small. The room supose to cater for 2 people, coffie, tea, sugars and water for only one person. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is nice and clean. It's good value for money and you can't hear noise from the other rooms which often happens at other hotels. I am just amazed that only 1 small bottle of water is provided for 2 persons per day.

I was booked for this hotel cause I had to attend training at Roche and it was the worst hotel I ever stayed....I requested room service (ordered food)on the 11th October 2022 around 19:30 and they never came.... did some follow up calls and they kept on saying my food will be ready in min until I fall asleep with an empty stomach 😔 😠 😡 worst service ever yooooh

Was very frustrating. What was supposed to be a romantic date night turned out to be a disaster as the reception didn't have any record of my payment as well as frequent stay voucher which were finalised end September already. I had to spend more than an hour to get proof of all this before my wife and I could check in and start celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Not sure that I will stay here again with such service.

Perfect place for a short break. Room has all the basic requirements and very clean and spacious. Breakfast is a bit on the busy side, with good food and drinks. Service was excellent with friendly and help staff, including security.

The perfect little overnight haven: stylishly appointed, and roomy, yet cosy. I had the best sleep I've had in a long time, which was complemented with the best, most generous breakfast buffet. My only regret is that I filled up on the delicious continental breakfast before sampling their cooked offering. Definitely a great excuse to go back soon!

If you're looking for place to have a special time. Be it with your partner, loved ones, friends and family, or even for business. Monte asino is the place to go. It is alive and has a great atmosphere. Create everlasting memories with views for amazing pictures.

Wow! Fantastic Service. I was surprised by how attentive the staff were. When we needed to check out early we received breakfast goody bags, enough to last us all the way on the five hour drive home.

Neat and tidy, compact rooms. Good looking though. Bar and restaurant is good although more attention to guests sitting on the couches is needed but you cant go wrong here.

An ideal place to reside at. Excellent entertainment and restaurants. Absolute safe environment. A one stop holiday resort. I love this place.

Conveniently located at Monte Casino with secure underground parking. Very clean rooms, fresh linen and prompt, friendly service from all the staff. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate and is a substantial buffet. Rooms are comfortable and open plan (just like the pictures) but small. The shower cubicle is very spacious but the toilet cubicle is small. The size of the room caters for one medium sized suitcase only. Luggage for two people makes it cramped, especially if you're travelling with 2 suitcases and 2 overnight bags. There is little room or floor space to accommodate this. It would have been nice to have had towel/jacket hooks in the rooms. Rooms are perfect for short stays or weekend getaways when you don't need to be living out of suitcases.

The service is casual and matter-of fact. A previous guest spilt coffee all over the phone and this was just left as is for me to find. I'm used to the Pivot, which I love, so maybe I'm just used to a better standard.

What an absolute pleasure staying at SunSquare! My husband and I booked a weekend stay for a friend's wedding and enjoyed every second! We were a bit taken back at how friendly everyone was! A massive shock to our system but so appreciated! We arrived early and they checked us in without hesitation! The breakfast was on point! Room was great! Everything was just so good! Will highly recommend them and will definitely be back! Thank you for making our stay so great!!

Quite enjoyed the stay, the breakfast was excellent, the room was nice and clean and the staff were very welcoming. It was quire nice being in the centre of everything entertaining. That being said only half of the room lights were functioning, the aircon was set too hot and we couldn't really change it as it changed right back... 6/10 would go again.

Great hotel and location. The staff are friendly and there is a restaurant and gym with basement parking. The bed is very comfortable! Unfortunately the aircon in both the rooms we had dis not work and the rooms were hot so we had to open windows to allow some air in. The lighting is strange, there is only one light switch which is used to turn on both the bedroom lights and bathroom lights. So if you want to use the bathroom during the night you have to essentially turn on all the lights in the room which is not ideal.

Went for a Business event and was absolutely pleased with the Rooms, Services and Staff. The restaurant, Riffs had amazing food. Friendly staff and manager seems to have everything in control. Would definitely visit again. Thank you.

We spent 2 nights here. It was my wife's birthday and we booked 4 rooms which were all spectacular. The finishes were fantastic, the service was impeccable and the beds were do comfortable that I can't remember falling asleep on them. Monte Casino has everything you could want, from and ethnic restaurant you can image to bird parks, cinemas, games for the kids and endless places to relax and have a drink. The kids love playing in the Piazza fountains (it helps that you have a room to dry them off for dinner). Beautiful hotel, good sized rooms and impeccable amenities. It's a holiday 10 mins from Joburg.

Comfortable ; clean and affordable. Breakfast was delicious and a good variety for vegetarians too. A nice simple menu for a light supper.

Wow... I just love this place

We usually stay at HiMonte for half the price but much better service. Upon arrival, the reception staff could not find our booking. The reception personnel were unfriendly and unhelpful. We struggled to get hold of reception from our room. The rooms are average with a small, uncomfortable bed. Although the cleaning and restaurant staff are very friendly and the food is decent, we will not be returning.
