Tranquil atmosphere in the garden! Ample seating outside. Quiet and peaceful. Delicious food, well- planned menu. Courteous service. Well priced and very clean and neat.

Definitely not kid friendly as encouraged, not even a baby changing station. Toilets or plumbing leaking, the toilets stalls are wet with water. Was at an event hosted by the venue, the event itself was spectacular. Not sure if food and drinks are outsourced, but pathetically over priced and limited, poor food variety. Would've been better if they had a cafe or vending machine available. Rather eat junk than the food they had available. Not worth the money. Wth is butter vegetable curry. My kids couldn't eat anything there. Apparently kids are welcomed, but not a kid friendly environment. No grass - just a sandy bare patch to picnic. And no own food allowed. Not stroller friendly, no baby changing station. The trees make it beautiful. Staff unfriendly.

Atmosphere was great! They have the friendliest of staff! Everyone is willing to walk the extra mile that not everyone these days are willing to do! The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Highly recommend!

I had my wedding here this weekend. Everything was exquisite! Food was top notch. Everything was coordinated perfectly. The rooms were beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable. I would recommend this establishment for anything they have to offer, also just an add on. Shout out to Carmia who was our wedding coordinator. On the day she was present and available and I can honestly say she went out of her way to ensure our day went perfectly. Thank you Carmia and Kleinkaap you are Amazing!

arrived and was impressed by the venue and atmosphere, but waited over 50 minutes for our food with no one checking on us. I also ordered a small sparkling water and it was R38, ridiculous and not happy.

Went there for a food and wine pairing. Not the best pairing. The waiter didn’t do a great job in explaining the pairings. The price compared to the portions and taste - the pairing wasn’t worth it. So that was not a great experience. But everything else on the menu looked good. Would come back just to taste the rest of the menu. It’s a beautiful and tranquil space. Love it.

Conferencing here - and any function - is a treat. Lovely natural surroundings, up-to-date technology and Cape Dutch architecture combined beautifully.

Beautiful gardens. Peaceful setting. Food was delicious, fresh ingredients. Great service, thank you Thabo. Will visit again. Even if just passing through Pretoria, will visit restaurant.

Absolutely loved it here! 5 star service recieved for my whole stay. Really beautiful place, big rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and the little touches are so wonderful. If I could get married again, it would be here

Very beautiful venue surrounded by nature. Serves delicious food and a nice curated selection of wines and spirits. Service was very good as well and the prices are quite reasonable. They are dog friendly and have a doggie menu as well.

Kleinkaap is such a beautiful place, hence why my friend and I decided to visit for a light lunch. Unfortunately the service was really disappointing and the food very average for the price you pay. Had to call a waiter to be served, had to wait very long for our food, and the waiter did not come to check on us at all, and the place was really quiet that day. Expected a bit more from such a stunning place.

I expected more from a 4 star hotel. No electric blankets on the beds & the hair dryer didn't work. Milk was also insufficient at the coffee station in the room. Food was awesome though & lovely place & atmosphere.

Beautiful venue with the most calming ambience. Staff is very friendly and the service is top notch. The air is so crisp due to their many trees and they grow their own vegetables. They have the most delectable food and are very generous with their portions. A hidden gem, it really is a small Cape. Loved it

Beautiful venue, I loved the many trees and colourful gardens as well as the magnificent geese and chicken. I, cannot, however share this sentiment with the food. In my honest opinion, the bill of fare was rather limited to a few simple dishes, some of which we tried, and found that they were insubstantial in taste and quantity hence not being worth half the money we paid for. For example the ‘meaty platter for two’ had just about enough meat for one, let alone qualifying to be a starter. My personal experience could be equated with an empty room with a view.

Absolutely beautiful place although I was only visting for an event. We were around 150 to 200 people and the service was pretty good and everyone was extremely friendly. We were set up in a barn like venue with massive doors and a tall ceiling which definitely helped in not making us feel crowded. They made us all these wonderful platters with some absolute delicious snacks. Something for everyone's taste like biltong and feta quiche, bread topped with cucumber, salmon and lemon, savoury scones with cured meat and a sweet whole grain mustard sauce and plenty more options. We also had some desert options like a blueberry cheesecake, carrot cake and gooey brownies. The bathrooms of the venue were also very well kept and not too small, even for the amount of people we were. I also took a quick look at their little venue called Kanaän. A little vegetable garden that seems to be used for some smaller venues, but definitely very beautiful. I will be checking out their website and definitely visit them again.

I did not stay here. I visited the Klein Kaap Wildsfees or Game festival. It was a very nice day with an unbelievably good atmosphere where there was live music entertainment the whole day long and it ended with a live broadcast of the Springboks rugby game against Argentina. There were many stalls where a hungry person could get good food for the soul and something for the thirst. Even the weather was great on the day. It is an amazing venue and the set up of the sound stage and the food stalls and the drinks stalls were perfect it was a good day out and well worth the money i spent to get in. I am already checking for more information on the next one

Kleinkaap is set in a beautiful part of Centurion. The lush trees and the beautiful gardens certainly transports one to the Cape. We did however feel disappointed by the service We waited 40min for our wine tasting and the service was slow! Once received we enjoyed our foods and drinks.

Attended a wedding last week. Everything was magnificent. The cape winelands atmosphere, the geese, swan and the beautiful evening setting so stunning. Food was excellent and overall everything planned to perfection. Well done. 🌸🌷⚘️🌸

Had the best experience! Staff was so friendly, the restaurant made me feel at home! I hosted my birthday party in the Kanaän , and it looked beautiful! I can’t wait to go again!

I had hosted a sip and see for our new bundle of Joy....this was a great experience. The table was set up and we had the swans as a backdrop which was a pleasant additional we had not thought to request. All of our requests were met with Joy 😊....we thoroughly enjoyed our bottomless mimosa brunch with friends and family. And the wait staff needs 10 stars. We really appreciated their prompt service and their pleasant demeanor.

We went there for a breakfast Coffee. Waiters weren't friendly, helpful, or in any way sufficient. We waited long for our coffee, which then was served in a wine glass. It was so hot we couldn't even hold the wine glass to drink our coffee. Coffee was not tasty either. Not sure what is happening over here but this is not the service or quality we have previously received. Wouldn't recommend.

Went to Klein Kaap for lunch yesterday and was disappointed with their service. Dispite it being extremely slow the waitresses had bad attitudes. It felt like they were doing us a big favour by taking our orders. I did not enjoy the experience and don't think I'll go tjere again.

I booked dinner at the restaurant on my birthday - as my family has done over the past few years for special occasions. Something has changed with the hotel - and not for the better. The grounds are no longer as beautiful and attractive as in the past. The greatest change however is in the menu served by the restaurant. The meal is not only mundane but it is also not well cooked. Unfortunately the price has not gone down but the quality certainly has. Very disappointed. Paid for food we could not eat or even take home.

Had to wait close to 2 hours after ordering our food. Even getting a mere coffee took more than 30 minutes. Tap water took another 30minutes, all this happening without anyone communicating with us, until we had to include the manager (which is not how we prefer to do things) Great place yes, great food...but as for the poor service, wow! I guess other customers are more important than others in this place...because everyone around us was serviced right well infront of us.

Very loud, can not have a conversation if you are with friends and at a big table. You wait a long time for your orders. The food was good and the service was friendly and helpful

It's a beautiful place, full of trees and lots of nature, the food is excellent and definitely a great venue for events like birthdays, they are per friendly which in Pretoria East is a must however there are many things wrong with this place, to begin, they closed off the entrance which Google usually takes you to, secondly the building is ageing and you can see the scars. The garden has no more grass left and growing widely. The decor is way below the standard even though they try to keep the antique theme going but I don't think it's working.

We attended a wedding here. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious

Enjoyed our stay good breakfast, great venue great location I can see this being a great conference or wedding venue. Lovely gardens. I have deducted a star because I think it needs a bit of updating room decor and just general technology WiFi etc. And because in the evening the bar and restaurant can be loud the pub should ideally kept seperate. All and all great hotel

An old farmhouse from the time when the area were still farmland. Dining under huge trees in the large garden is one of my most favorite places in Pretoria. Great food. Also a place for weddings and functions and where people come to take wedding or graduation photographs.

A boutique hotel situated in Centurion for functions boasts a wonderful small restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Food is absolutely delicious and the service is professional and friendly. A sheer gem.

Attended one of the movie nights in the garden. A delicious buffet dinner was served after which we retired to our bedroom. Beautiful, rich wood furniture with a huge comfortable bed to sleep in. So many touches to each room to make you feel really special. In the morning, we had their famous buffet-style breakfast again. Great service with a amile.

We just went for dinner and the service was the best. The table we occupied was like a private corner. Our waitress lit a gas heater just for us. Would be nice for a date. The beef patti I had was delicious. They can improve on the burger it was a bit dry.

The place is stunning. Beautiful gardens. Perfect wedding venue (my opinion, of course). We had sundowners and a bite. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The drinks menu is surprisingly reasonably priced as well. Service was a bit slow. Fantastic place nonetheless 👌👌👌

Excellent function venue. Restaurant has high quality food; fresh ingredients, well prepared with decent portions, great choice of drinks and lovely inside or outside seating options. Such a lovely setting and even better enjoyed with friends.

We regularly go there when our friend Tony organizes his jazz band to play, and included is an amazing lunch! The catering is always a delight. Being entertained by Tony and his band mates makes for a lovely afternoon under a canopy of beautiful mature trees.

Today was amazing. The venue is beautiful and the gin festival was well run. The food was great and well priced. The music was good and of course good gin. Loved it. Bucket item ticked.

They filmed the best television show ever at this hotel, for this reason alone I will give “Die Fransenburg Hotel” 5/5. Highly recommended. The annual gin fest is also amazing

Hidden gem in the heart of Centurion. Beautiful gardens and excellent food at a decent price. They even allowed us to bring in some foreign wine for a wine tasting for a reasonable corkage fee.

We booked for movie night the past weekend.. We chose the stay over option. It was fantastic, the hotel was beautiful, the gardens were stunning (I think once we had rain it'll come alive even more) All the ducks and chicken wondering around reminds you of a farm far from the city. The food was amazing and tasty. Our room was spacious and just as beautiful! If you want to have lunch I would recommend to call and book as they are quit busy.. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening under the stars
