The highlight here is the food. Their menu is extensive, the food fresh and tasty. I have never been disappointed every time I have lunch here. Also, they have a limited menu on one of the delivery services...I have not used their rooms yet, so I don't have a comment about that.

The hotel is perfect for a conference or a stay for a few nights. The rooms are clean well ventilated and have heating and air conditioning. The building is a bit outdated form the outside but it is beautiful from the reception onwards. The food was a high class buffet style, that was absolutely delicious. They offer a 24-hour gym, spa, and a bar with live entertainment every night.

Service is excellent. Rooms are clean and neat. It was my birthday and they made me feel extra special with cupcake, helium balloons and a goodie bag in my room. We chose the romantic package. I was impressed with rose petals all over the room, strawberries and cream, fresh red roses in a vase, sparkling wine in an ice bucket, macaroons, box of lindt chocolate, this was all part of the package. I was there for their buffet. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I've been going there for quite some time and have always enjoyed the food. Definitely visiting again soon

Excellent Service ,friendly staff and our family room was absolutely neat. Has resturant, bar and gym. Also has a courtesy transport within a radius of 10km. Very safe and secure.

The service was outstanding. The rooms were well kept and thank you fir the coutersey of having both a bathtub and a shower🥂🥂The food was delicious and the waiters were very friendly. Keep up the good work. Will definitely visit again for both work and pleasure.

The hotel is liked the most by our department as it's closer to work, clean, the service is out of the world, the staff members are welcoming which makes the environment more welcoming and comfortable. The food is so delicious and scrumptious and yes all the COVID regulations are properly followed. Manhattan is the place to be and relax at the Spar to pamper yourself within the premises. Parking is not and issue that includes transportation within the area with the courtesy of Manhattan hotel.

I went Manhattan hotel on the 7th of July which it was my graduation day at Unisa. I came back tired and the room was very appealing and nice . The bathroom was very clean and spotless. The bedding and the floor was very warming and it was what I needed cause I was very exhausted. I like the service from the ladies there at the reception keep it up .

We had absolutely lovely time for a week with my family. The workers are all professional and very receptive. Our 2 kids were well accommodated and they enjoyed the food so well. Isaac the waiter was just amazing and always helpful. Most importantly I enjoyed the gym facility and beautiful dining live band. The room was cleaned daily and new towels provided Ashwell. I recommend Manhattan hotel and you will received by beautiful smiles and hearts FROM SECURITY. The shuttle was perfect also, I got to be taken to work daily and collected when needed. WELL DONE TEAM MANHATTAN PRETORIA! YOU ARE AMAZING

Easy to locate and staff are so helpful their food are so nice and more tasty. Their room have more enough space and bedding, great music in the morning and the security of your car is mostly safe and secured.

Lovely hotel not too fancy. The staff is amazing. I damaged my heels and one of the staff members got it fixed for me and went to get me slippers while I waited. The food was great I enjoyed the buffet very much the was so much variety especially of meat and salads. I also like their confermec facilities we held a hybrid meeting and there were no technology glitches.

There's a saying if you can't beat them rather join them. Manhattan is one of our favorite and inexpensive hotels in Pretoria. We were having a wonderful business seminar on Sunday and I was impressed about their success and wonderful atmosphere at Manhattan.

i stayed in Manhatten yesterday, 20th of March 2023. I arrived early than check in time, i was so pleased that they managed to give me a room and let me come in even though it was a national shut down. The manager made sure i was helped, so greatful for that. The aircon in the room was sooo noisy!! Couldn't sleep! The room was so hot without the aircon on!! I honestly did not enjoy my sleep. The food was so nice, except for then malva pudding! The sponge was so dry, wasn't nice at all. I would like to thank Xolani for delivering a good service to me, very proffetional and respectful.

The hotel is ideally located, not too far from the Gautrain station. The hotel certainly has an old school feel with retro wallpaper. The reception area looks and smells very well. The frontline staff are courteous and professional. The lift worked extremely well. I was in the 8th floor and the ride up to the top floor was smooth and quick. The voice on the lift certainly caters well for the visually impaired. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Housekeeping did a good job of freshening room everyday (although l felt they started housekeeping a tid bit early). The linen and towels were white and clean. The carpets could do with changing, l feel. The restaurant was generally good although l felt some of the food was not fresh and at times not warm enough. All in all l had a good stay at Manhattan. Although located in a busy part of town, the rooms are sufficiently sound proofed to offer a pleasant stay and sleep.

Wow wow wow.. I've never been this impressed in my life.. Everything was just great.. The stuff.. The food.. The rooms.. Cleanliness.. Wow guys. I'm definitely coming back soon.

We booked one of their conference rooms for a makeup master class. The room was big enough , it accommodated all students. They provided refreshments all the time. Their buffet was delicious. It was someone’s birthday whilst we were eating, we sang for her. Overall it was a beautiful day well spent. Their service is outstanding. Everyone from the security is friendly.

Excellent value for money and the staff are very helpful. They also have a fantastic shuttle service for around town.

I booked for two days. From Friday till sunday. I wasn't pleased with the bathroom. I could not adjust the water temperature as the knobs weren't working properly. I had booked a luxury room, it had a sitting room. As for the service, it is as poor as a church mouse. A lady named Tebogo was so rude towards my friend and I when we checked out. She is the house keeping Managers, she kept complaining about how we left our towels dirty and she even wasted our time. I missed my flight because of her. She demanded us to pay R150 for each of the towels we had used. Apparently the towels were too dirty. I've never been so offended in my life. She is overall the reason I will not return.

Had a great saturday buffet style lunch. The service was superb but definitely a good aircon is needed as it was a hot sunny day in pretoria but other than that i would def recommend it for families or large groups looking for an affordable lunch💜🦋

The hotel staff are professional and the food is amazing. I have one suggestion thought, the beds are still and the pillows as well, they give neck and back aches. Would appreciate if you look into changing into softer pillows for a restful stay.

The room I got was not the one I booked on bookings.com the windows didn't close properly and for the two days that I was there, I bathed with cold water cause hot water was apparently finished. I struggled to get a twin plug to charge my phones...

Good family rooms, my Sonshines had their own privacy room with own TV whilst me and hubby had ours, marvelous facility for family clean, elegant, excellent hosting skills by the staff

The standard of Manhattan is reduced to substandard care, everything is a mess, bathroom, rooms and dining(dust on the wall) food are no longer wow. I think management have changed 🤔 so bad I will never go there again

Everthing was great, staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem i had was the pillows. They need softer pillows.

The service was really good. Reception did their best to attend our needs during our stay. The walls are though really thin and we didn't appreciate hearing the guests next door. Probably also the busiest hotel I've ever stayed at.. so much commotion from all the events held there.

I enjoyed the complimentary tea. The complimentary biscuits paired with the complimentary chocolate very well. The complimentary tea, milk, and coffee were well appreciated. The complimentary compliments were well received. All-in-all, it's a luxury establishment that houses an A/C, a gym, elevators and stairs. The elevators go up and down.

The reception area is clean and manned by professional and friendly staff. Neat staff. Clean environment and delicious food.

Went to eat buffet lunch as a endyear function. Food was amazing and there was even live music. Service was excellent. Everything was very nice. Only negative points was that the aircon in the dining hall was not working properly and the area outside the hotel is not optimal. The hotel security was very good and made us feel safer.

Checked into Manhattan hotel. Was interested in trying the gym which is offer for free to guests. Only to find out on two occasions that my key card does not open the door. Went to reception to activate my card on both occasions went back to the gym still no access called reception again they said a maintenance guy is coming to assist. Waited for at least 20 mins infront of the gym no one came to assist us because at this time we were 5 people waiting. Second thing i did not like there is no fridge in the room you need to phone house keeping to put a fridge in the room. However there is a space allocated for a fridge.

Splendid place, clean and modern. Appreciate a hotel that gives me two sheets. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious and wide range food to choose from. The location used to be great until the ANC happened, currently the surroundings scream neglect! We live in hope

I was there for work purposes but l had the most relaxing sleep. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing. I wish l had more time to enjoy my breakfast but duty calls. The staff is very friendly

Checked in tonight 30/10/2022 at the hotel. Receptionist very friendly but never explained where the restaurant is and how does breakfast or the lunch packs work. Room 419 to which I was upgraded to is an utter mess. Housekeeping is a serious issue as all the beds are skew and 1 bed short a leg and the bedding was dirty. No fridge in room and aircon not working properly. Empty jug in rooms with no water in at all. Dirty mirrors and bathtub stained. Staff tried to move me to 418 and it was in exactly the same condition. The lighting in the roms are not up to standard and not sufficient . The hotel does not deserve a 3 star rating .

Wow, what a place 👌. Warm welcoming " complementary drinks" was a wow. Friendly staff, was picked from the bus station by a friendly and proffesional driver. Transportation was excellent, shuttle always on time. The staff prepared and pack my breakfast separately , since i leave to menlynn early in the morning, before breakfast time. It was amazing, my room was neat, room service was perfect. Food was on point. Thanks guys and keep it up. 🤗

I had a great stay in Manhattan hotel the stuff at reception very friendly and very helpful, their shuttle driver Obed kind and friendly too. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel with my 10 year old daughter, the next day we went to do our massage by Lorraine and Kgomotso both the ladies were wow their massage was great. I remember myself and my daughter sleeping during the massage the music played was great. 😍😍😍definitely coming back 😍😍😍😍

The parking at the hotel is a nightmare!!! The parking spaces are very limited and the space is tiny. On 2 out of the 5 days attending a training, the security at the parking scanned the car in and told us to drive in a certain direction knowing that all the parkings are taken, we called to another security to ask for parking and he pretended not to understand a thing. We had a disabled colleague attending the training, the service and respect for her was disheartening. At the reception the hotel staff would look in different directions knowing we are trying to request for assistance. On the Friday we got no assistance at ALL I pushed the wheelchair into the reception and showed the receptionist that I’m leaving it there, she rolled her eyes at me. The behaviour of the staff is unbelievable!!! And just plain down rude! The training was moved to 8th floor for the last 2 days and the door in the passage and one of the study rooms could not accommodate a wheelchair and there were no disabled bathrooms besides the one on first floor. The treatment given by this hotel is extremely poor and very unprofessional

I booked in advanced, when I got there my room was "given " to someone else. On the phone my booking was confirmed, I could have stayed 4 nights instead I stayed 1 night. The receptionist by the name of sharing was not too kind

Went to Manhattan hotel on 20 June 2022 for their buffet lunch. The restaurant is clean snd the layout was OK. I was just disappointed at the lack of variety on their food. I was looking forward to having either fish, mogodu or curry, only to be told that seafood is only served on Wednesday.

We used the conference roomz there, the place is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and excited to help. The location is in central Pretoria... Not so upscale, but the Hotel itself is gorgeous

I love going there with my family for birthday celebrations and It’s always impressive but this time I was not impressed. The reception staff were not professional with my booking then I had to wait a good 30 minutes for my drink then there wasn’t a wide variety of food offered like they normally do. Good morning, My stay was unpleasant ,Room 317 door couldn't lock from inside, it had a chain safety lock to who comes at the door. Food was OK, but still waited for HALAL Food to arrive, staff was friendly and encouraging always trying to make it their best. MAYBE GOING FORWARD THEY NEED TO UPGRADE FLOORS APARTMENT'S ON A MONTHLY BASIS, TAP'S ,SHOWER CUBICLE, ETC

Atmosphere not friendly at all. Venue allocated to us was dark curtains could've been opened for natural light. Food was ok besides it taken away so quickly. Had to remind the waiters several times of our order.

The food is great especially their buffae and their prices for the food is affordable. Their price for stay is reasonable and cheap than other places and the rooms are well furnished. Besides that, their shuttle service takes you within a 10km distance and it is fast and very reliable. The drives are friendly, respectful and always on time. It was raining that day but the staff were helpful from getting one parking space, reception staff very helpful also assist with the luggage and getting to the rooms. The rooms were clean and surrounding area also clean. The food, i. e buffet and breakfast was tasty and delicious. Our deco was beautiful and music was good. We have enjoy our party and it was an event that is memorable. We will definitely come back to Manhattan.
