What a little precious gem I found in this place! I absolutely loved every moment of my stay here! Feels like you're far away from the city. Only sounds you hear are that of nature! Especially loved the dam, had lovely walks to and around it at sunset. No request too big or small for the owner, Lorraine. Guitar Bar on Thursdays is a lovely little spot to experience some local talent and serves a winning burger by the chef.

We recently booked the White Room for the weekend. It turned out to be a big mistake. We were influenced by misleading pictures and good rates. As mentioned in another review, the owners of Inyameko need to decide what they are offering clients - a B&B, a communal living experience, a Covid isolation facility, a concert venue, leadership training or exposure to life on an urban farm. The facility has potential but falls really short if you are expecting peace, privacy and attention to detail. The White Room is small and opens onto a communal pool area. Revellers partied till past midnight 5m from the door. Privacy is not an option in the White Room. A reception area leads off the room through a door - far from ideal. We had a problem with the water supply (a burst pipe). These things happen but the expectation we had that we would be provided with drinking water remained just that - an expectation. An arrangement could have been made beyond the two buckets for the toilet. We checked out the next morning - still without water. What was anticipated as a pleasant trip to visit elderly parents in Pretoria became a nightmarish frustration. Sadly the worst B&B experience we have had. The one-night refund was hardly compensation.

I absolutely loved this place, the lapa is specious. Chef Charmaine's food was absolutely devine. Enjoyed our New Year's weekend gateway. The staff and management is both friendly and professional. So happy to have stumbled upon this gem. Planning my next visit already ☺️

The landscaping is stunning and overall, the place is clean. It's ideal for having a quiet mini getaway from the city. Affordable and self catering. Our bungalow did not have a tv though.

Inyameko is a home away from home. Lovely staff, kind host, beautiful gardens, all in all just an enjoyable place to relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings. We stayed in the pool room and had such a wonderful time at Inyameko - would definitely stay there again should we ever come back to Joburg. Warm regards, Iben and Anna from Denmark

We had an amazing time at Inyameko. It was easy to find and Lorraine and Kuda were just amazing. We were well looked after, the breakfast was delicious and filling. At some point, I needed headache tablets and at another, a corkscrew...they were more than willing to help. Loved the pool, the gardens, flowers. We had the Family Suite so we enjoyed the outdoor shower. We had a lekker braai and my son also got to play with Kuda's son. The self-catering unit came with just about everything; they even offered us wood for the braai. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend!

The place it self had a lot of potential, it needs alot of work to make it look better and worth the money. It just looks like a dry place with nothing to look at, nothing makes it seem peaceful
