“Boere Kos”……pap, podjiekos, steak, baskets and the list just goes on. Live music and a kick off the shoes atmosphere. The food tasty and very well priced. Good company, really enjoyed this one. Coming back for more.

Breakfast was awesome. Good wholesome meals and very interesting shooters available. Great service, awesome seating area outside and plenty of parking.

Absolutely love the staff and atmosphere. Food is good and live music over the weekends makes this place a must visit. A Bikers stop and we were treated with some beautiful machines during our visit on the Sunday. If you are looking for something different and new, then definitely make a stop here for a lovely refreshing drink and lunch.

Was really looking forward the day but it was sadly a very bad experience. Although the vibe was quite nice, the music was very loud making lunch conversation a challenge. Our waitress was lovely but the service was terribly slow. The food arrived cold and was not very nice (I had the oxtail potjie) and well over an hour after placing our order. There was absolutely no value for money given the food quality. We also had three sets of people coming to either sell us something, raise money for a cause and a bachelor on a fund raising challenge. Not something I personally enjoyed at all. Hope they take this review to heart and make some changes because there is definitely potential.

Food service and genera atmosphere are all great... But when the live performance starts you cannot socialise at a Sunday lunch over the load music. The music is good, just a couple of notches too much.

What a dissapointment. We stopped there on our way home after our holiday. The waiter was great. We waited for our food for more than a hour maybe? The food arrived ice cold. There was loadshedding, but the power came on as they brought our food. My suggestion would be not to serve food during loadshedding if you cannot manage it. Our food was sent back, an was then just heated in a microwave, please note this was sunnyside eggs... They were busy pitching a tent right where we were sitting, we struggled to get past the tent that they are pitching for their Christmas event The owner/manager should work in her office as it creates such a unprofessional environment . I was looking so forward to visit this restaurant but what a dissapointed it turned out to be. After complaining we did receive a 50% of our food bill. It was a very unpleasant experience. As I am reading previous ratings this a on going problem. Management/owners you really need to start making work of your negative reviews as we all seem to have the complaints in common and they date back to a year+

First time that we've stopped to explore the restaurant and we were not disappointed. Great service, excellent value for money and fantastic tasty food.

We went on fathers day and were disappointed the food and service. The wait waitron who was serving our table was clearly overwhelmed by the amount of people and they looked clearly understaffed. I will however not lay any bad review on her.she did her best. This was a problem throughout. We waited over 2 hours for our food. Some of it arrived cold and one of our meals nearly didn't arrive. I love this place and the atmosphere you feel there, but I won't go back. There has to be more staff on duty and sort out your kitchen. The main problem is there!

What a gem, we discovered Die Plaas se Gat while exploring alternatives to the regular places we visit in the area. Great service, typical pub fare with some great looking dishes. Burger is vaery tasty, and The Eisbein that other’s ordered, passing our table looked next level. Live music, although not our taste, set a nice Sunday afternoon vibe. Definitely check it out if in the area

Great place to chill, have a few drinks with friends and get some good, hearty food. Outdoor seating, close to the kiddies play area to keep an eye while the kids run and play. Food is top notch, whichever potjie they have is not to be missed out on. Love the little rustic touches all over and the staff is super friendly and caring. Highly recommended popping in here

Found this spot last week. Had the best food and service. Decided to bring some friends today. Seriously the worst waitress and terrible food. Very inconsistent. The manager was useless, he did nothing after we complained. We waited 1h20 for the food to arrive, after complaining we finally received our undercooked, forgotten ietiems ext. Sad such a nice vibe. Hit, and miss I guess. I hate leaving a bad review but how you fix an complaint matters!! Unfortunately they will not see me again. I talk with my wallet.

Loved this place so much we came thrice. Breakfast good Dinner good Food quality great! Service terrific And atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

The chef must google how a Greek salad looks, using fresh ingredients. We left before potjie was ready to be served after 13h30 because of uber loud unbearable music, we could not hear each other, could not talk to waiter, cannot waste my money here. 👎👎👎 Picture shows how real Greek salad should look.

Food and general atmosphere was great. We went there two nights in a row, both times we served by James who was wonderful! He was very friendly and helpful the whole. The only negative was that the live music the Friday night was way too loud. Singer was good, but we did not come to see her, we came to spend time with family.

Lovely atmosphere, very peaceful. Great food and drinks however took one star away because we waited quite a bit for the food and drinks. But other than that, great place.

If the menu states a mild chilli, then that is what it shiuld be. Then telling me that only one pot is prepared, why would you state that it is mild if what you prepare fir the customer, is extra hot? Not going to this establishment again.

I really enjoyed our visit. Was looking forward to trying the pizza, but they were having trouble getting the heat right. The pork schnitzel was great though, and the beer was ice cold.

After being seated, and ordering drinks waited 45min for our drinks,it never came. Went to management on our way out, and got told that we are welcome to leave if we find the 45min wait unacceptable.Tipd them I would leave a bad review and they felt that's fine. I Won't go back there even if I'm paid.

Very nice atmosphere! Food was absolutely fantastic!

The visit was good considering we were not in a rush. But the service was slow. Waited very long for the pizzas. They did tell us after asking that the dough for the base was finished and they had to remake more. The bar service was also slow. The music and atmosphere was pleasant.

We from Durban and was told it's a nice outdoor place but honestly service was bad food was cold but the outdoor we enjoyed. I'm in hospitality working for a top restaurant...I do think u need to up this but awesome view.

This place has the best setting and vibe. But our experience there was awfull. Service was not great. Food was not the best. We ordered all at once but 2 meals came out first, then 20min later 2 other meals and then the last meal only come out almost an hour later. It a nice place to sit under the trees and listen to the live music, if it is not to load.

I've been here a couple of times, for Sunday lunch, and I'll keep coming back. The whole menu seems very good, but my favourites are the potjiekos options! The helpings are generous, to say the least, and the taste is perfect. The live music is top class, making it the ideal venue for a relaxing afternoon with friends and family. As a bonus, the prices are a pleasant surprise.

The food and staff were beyond amazing. Would 1000% come back and recommend. Also lovely atmosphere.
