Trail is awesome and well marked. The dam views are no more breathtaking like before due to the negligence by Goveement on the dam. Parking is not sufficient, unsafe due to no security. Hike at own risk. No signage as to where the venue is.

Great hike for the weekend. It is a strenuous hike, so you will need to be moderately fit and take plenty of water and snacks to keep your energy levels up. There isn't a lot of cover or shade. Be sure to apply sunscreen to avoid sunburn, it's a good 3 hours hike minimum. The view makes the hike worth it!

This is a challenging hiking trail but safety is a real issue. Please follow the rules at all times make sure you stick together as a group at all times and make sure your group has lots of Male and carry as less expensive possessions as possible because there's robbers on the trail.

Very nice hiking trail

An awesome hiking trail. Clearly marked all the way to and from the summit. The Magaliesberg at its majestic best as always. It is testing in parts, and you need to be reasonably fit. It is July, so nature is for the most part at rest, but still spectacular.

The views are amazing, tough one though make sure to start with the "up slope"

It was ok. A bit challenging if you are not fit. Steep incline to get to the top. Some seriously old algae mat fossils to be seen if you have a keen eye. The view is cool, I won't lie. But only worth doing once, in my opinion.

Nice Hike to the top. The walk down was a little uneventful except for someone tripping on the stones and hurting an ankle. The views at the top are amazing, id suggest taking snacks to eat when you get there because after 2 hours going up, youd want to spend atleast an hour taking in those views.

This is a fantastic trail. Well balanced, it has an easy route with some challenging portions to give you a workout. The view is certainly worth it! Make sure download the app for all the info, even with it, we got lost a few times; the directional markings could be better.
