The place is amazing and the room we had, which was the charcoal room was prepared perfectly. The art around the house is amazing and also enjoyed swimming because there wasn't that many people. The guy who welcomed us was friendly and even when we arrived late for check in it wasn't a problem. It's definitely a must stay, considering that the price is fair. Definitely recommend it, I love every moment I spent in that house. Elsa was friendly both on the phone and In person.

I had an incredible experience. The guesthouse itself is breathtaking and it feels as though you are transported to another place. Elsa is also the best and most accommodating host. Elsa made our dreams a reality as she set up the perfect proposal spot for me to surprise my fiancé with along with the loveliest and most delicious snack platter. I would truly recommend this place to everyone and would rate it 12/10 if I could, Thank You Elsa!!

The Art guest house is an amazing place to escape from everyday life. Located close enough to all Hartebeestpoort has to offer but still in a quiet suburban area. The garden is absolutely beautiful with places to sit and relax and numerous photo opportunities. We stayed in the Frieda Kahlo room and it was stunning. The decor of the room reflects the life of Frieda and encapsulates her essence. The room is filled with art made by the owner, truly exquisite. Great service from attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely return to stay in the other rooms each with a unique style.

The most incredible rooms, with the best hosts. The rooms are spacious, with a sense of occasion in ever single room. Being in the room isn't just a stop off to sleep between your holiday, rather every return to the room is an event and occasion worth savoring. Massive bathtub and wonderful atmosphere in Cadmium Scarlet room. Pool looks amazing, with one of the best kept gardens I have ever seen. Everything has its place in the construction of art that is the guest house. Highly recommended, hope to visit again and again to experience other rooms!

Absolutely beautiful guest house, rooms and garden, you'll forget you're in a suburb, but rather in a jungle. Superb service. Nice private getaway for adults. Not suitable for children. If you're not used to the taste of borehole type drinking water, bring your own. Great experience, will definately visit again.

If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime where you can actually live in a piece of art then this is definitely the place to be! The owner, staff and rooms are top shelf, they do the utmost effort to make you feel comfortable and the grounds are truly spectacular!!! It feels like a tropical paradise filled with colour everywhere you look, really amazing! We will most definitely go back there very soon....

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Art Guesthouse that truly exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the service was impeccable & the experience was unforgettable. I am pleased to give this guesthouse a five-star review for their outstanding service. The guesthouse was located in a charming & peaceful area, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing & enjoyable stay. The location was perfect as it was close to all the activities we wanted to do. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff who were attentive & friendly. The room itself was tastefully decorated & had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable & the room was immaculately clean. It was evident that the guesthouse takes great pride in maintaining their rooms to a high standard. 10/10

Booked a room for a weekend. Was asked to pay a deposit (which I did) and then 2 weeks later I received an email saying the booking will be cancelled due to no deposit. In the two weeks, there were emails and notifcations of payment but I was accused of not paying. Friendly suggestion - before threatening the customer to cancel booking, make 100% of sure of facts.

This was one of the best experiences I've had with a guest house the bed was comfortable and the ac in the room was a massive bonus It was also really quite so I had the best night sleep

We have stayed at Art Guesthouse many times before and the excellent service and friendly staff has been consistent. The rooms have an artistic vibe is that truly unique. It's very central as well and there is a mall nearby, the zoo and some awesome restaurants.

I booked here for my best friends Bachelorette weekend away. 5 girls. 3 rooms that slept 2 girls each. It was incredible. Exactly what we wanted. Beautiful Garden with the most amount of character and good vibes!! Thank you so much for the best weekend!! We can't wait to visit again!! Special thanks to Timothy for his amazing hospitality!

Enjoyed our stay at The Art Guesthouse. The rooms are small but very comfortable (it also has a mini kitchen). Everything is bright and beautiful. The host was lovely. The Guesthouse is central to all the harties top attractions. I will definitely stay here again.

Very colorful and arty guesthouse! It definitely does live up to its name. Different fabrics, textures styles. The host was friendly an accommodating. Nice pool area to relax and braai.

Where to begin, if I could give you a higher star rating I would. Elsa is an amazing soul with a beautiful heart, her assistant Timothy is also incredibly friendly. The room was AMAZING the garden area is another level of beautiful. I'd definitely stay there again and recommen it to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to vacation.

Coolest place, I love the decor! The staff was friendly and helpful. There was wine and chocolates set out for us, and muffins and scones for the next day. The room was clean and neat. Only thing is, there’s a lot of spiders and spiderwebs. But would definitely go again! The swimming pool was the best part!

What a lovely place. Wonderful people. Elsa, the artistic owner is an angel. I hurt my back from a morning jog and she assisted my wife in getting some medication for me from the nearby pharmacy. I'm so impressed and grateful.
