    The place is neat. When we entered the venue there was a breeze of fresh air. Good Secure Parking Garage. Bedding were clean,Sheets were white and I must say I was expecting a weird smell but there was no smell at all, it was fresh and clean we felt comfortable when sleeping. The bathroom,shower were perfect, sparkling clean ✨. Breakfast was amazing, presentation of the food was on point 💖 and the waiter& waitress did an excellent job . I recommend anyone to visit the Reunion vacations,you'll enjoy 😉. I recommend the Reunion Vacations to have activities for kids,maybe they should buy a trampoline and have play room for kids.

    I find this guesthouse absolutely horrible the service was not the best and the owner as well as Lucia who assisted us was so disrespectful I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone They double booked us and used our money that we’ve paid for that night for another guesthouse without our consent And we demanded a refund and they refused! I did not feel welcome at all and sarcasm are their way of sorting out a problem!! Do your self a favor and go somewhere else!! “They offered us a complimentary night for their mistake but when we got there they did not give us our complimentary night and wanted us to pay!” So disappointed honestly disgusting

    I liked the place its beautiful, just not easy to find help when needed plus shower takes forever before the water was worm

    Waiting long at gate. Reception lady not friendly, garage remote not working. Music was loud, my husband had to go downstairs to lower the volume. The TV in the room was not working, the wifi was not working, my kids had to look at the walls. Staff lied to us, that someone will be coming to repair at 8 o'clock at night, which did not happen. I cannot stand lies.The owner was not available, she did not answer her phone or reply to our message. My daughter is vegan, there was no options for her to choose at breakfast. The staff could not communicate or understand English. We paid R5000 for 2 nights. We checked out after the first night. I do not recommend this venue to anyone. Réunion Vacation Owner, your response to the above review is a lie. The TV was not working when we checked in and we were told it will be repaired in the evening which did not happen. There is no Vegan options your menu and your staff could not communicate in English. There was no load shedding at the time. Instead of apologising for your terrible service, you choose to lie. You as the owner was not available physically or telephonically.

    Had such a horrible experience ever! From cold showers, cold breakfast, no microwave, poor electricity backup, poor TV connection, 8pm telephone calls for next day breakfast cofirmations to poor service management in general. Attempts to talking to the manager about these were met with so much hostility and defense. No wonder there's no improvement on all the above mentioned issues as also reviewed by many before my time there. I am definitely not coming back and would not recommend it to anyone.

    Room did not meet 4 star expectations at all and feel ripped off. I have traveled extensively throughout South Africa and abroad and have experienced much better in 3 star. Shower arm was broken. Water leaking. Shower head dirty and spraying everywhere. Walls and roof filthy. Filthy rubbers on shower. Handles missing from cupboards. Back up power lasted halfway when load shedding. Staff support on site was good but Bathroom was in a terrible state When I mentioned all this on whatsapp to the booking person, they told me that they I already paid a last minute discount so there will be no compensation and that I should go ahead with my review and that there would be legal action if the information I post was misleading. Putrid service and highly dissatisfied customer. Would not recommend at all.

    Everyone you reply to,has personality issues🤣🤣 You sound so defensive. Go for management training rather and stop concentrating on thing that won't benefit the business you are in. 🤣when did I Evrn get drunk? Stop being a pathological liar You are always having altercations with almost every guest. You Lucia and Mbali Tsela. Your business is not going to last,unfortunately. Your waiters and waitress are very warm and nice people. You give them so much tasks to do that it overwhelms them. Better concentrate in management because it is SO DISGUSTING and poor. Fix your personality problems with EVERY GUEST that comes to visit there. Old woman. Can you take the traumatized guests who had music on till 1am for counseling. So that they know a guesthouse is not a SHEEBEN. Your replies are also traumatizing as an owner.

    A beautiful place with great potential if managed well. From the time that I made the booking I had issues with the payment. I paid a deposit and a few weeks later I was debited again for the deposit even though I sent the proof of payment. When I investigated, I was told that it was an error and that "my accommodation was paid in full. Upon arrival I was asked to settle the balance. Cleary, poor management and no communication between the booking manager and staff. Boitumelo and Saulos were very kind and helpful and allowed us to check-in before the matter was resolved. I got a message at 11pm that evening confirming that the accommodation was indeed paid in full. The only nice thing about our room was the decor and bathroom. The room set-up is akward. There are no cupboards, the TV is on the side wall, no bedside lamps and two very bright overhead lights. Our room was the 1st as you come up the staircase. Needless to say it was very noisy and we were woken up numerous times during the night and early morning hours by noisy, intoxicated guests. The door lock was also very flimsy, secured by a thin metal plate only. The Ghetto room was disappointing. My daughter and her husband stayed in another room which was really lovely and cozy. The only problem they experienced was the constant ringing of the internal telephone system and also the constant beeping of what we assumed was the security system. The meals that we had on sight were good. Boitumelo, Saulos and Mandisa were great and very friendly and helpful at all times, their service was exceptional. I trust that the owner will not see this as an attack.

    It would be pointless to review the establishment given how defensive Lucia is in response to remarks made about the quality of the guest experience. This establishment's complaints can't all be the result of personality problems; this speaks volumes about the managerial abilities of the company and you included. If you can't accept constructive criticism in a professional and courteous manner, you're steadily driving away customers. Gorgeous house, but wow, what a terrible experience and service!

    Cockroaches in the room The pool was dirty There was no cutlery, no drinks , no bread at breakfast we had to eat with our hands. Service was horrible

    This was a wonderful weekend. This place is awesome. I don't regret booking there. The staff is amazing and their food was on another level. I wouldn't mind going back... Their rooms has 2 different views. Some has mountain view and some has dam view. That place is super amazazing♥️🥰

    Looked forward to experiencing this place but little did we know😳 The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They will go out their way to make your stay a pleasant one but the booking manager is SO RUDE. Everywhere I go I usually check the room before sleeping cause as we all know if you damage or break anything you’ll have to pay for it so I did the same here. We were given the inventory list which states items to be replaced and how much they cost should I break or “lose” them. So upon check I checked the room and wasn’t impressed with few things. The towels were torn, tap on the basin broken, scatter cushions zip broken so I communicated these with the lady that checked us in and she helped out where she could. The booking manager though said she doesn’t understand what I’m complaining about 😳 Both Saturday and Sunday we had issues with water. It wasn’t coming out at all from the house we stayed at. Instead of her trying to make a plan for us as this is not a recent problem she just told me to stop nagging we not the only ones with water issues 😳 The house is beautiful and the staff great but the booking manager is KAAK. Il never set my foot there again and wouldn’t recommend anyone to that place. It’s a pitty I’m driving I’d post screen shots if that lady’s responses 😳😳😳😳😳😳

    Everything was just so perfect from the moment we checked in the staff was so friendly and helpful.The rooms were neat and smelling nice.Their breakfast was soo good Trevor was the best😍 checked us if we needed something.I would recommend it to anyone and the place is just so beautiful 😍.

    From our arrival, Simon assisted us in parking. Tha staff was friendly and helpful, took us to our rooms. The rooms were very neat, breakfast & supper super. Safe and quiet place to stay.

    Not the best experience, rooms were very nice, well presented and neat,we booked two rooms, one had urine with tissue in the toilet that was not flushed down,and this should have been sorted out by housekeeping. The rooms were separated, ground floor room in one house and upstairs room in a different house which made it difficult to spend time with family. Tv had network issues, nothing to watch..netflix wasnt signed into and no dstv..wifi kept dropping..no real attempt to fix this..the staff were great, especially the guys..parking was an issue although safe, had to keep moving the car to let people out of the garage which was an inconvenience, driveway too steep..car bumper was scratching. Food not up to scratch, breakfast orders were wrong, eggs and fish overcooked or exceptionally raw..tea came at the end of breakfast, inconsistent..did not get half the items like pancakes etc. like other guests. Not fair that tips are shared when only a few go the extra mile to make you enjoy your experience.

    I'm so looking forward to take my kids and grand kids to this lovely place. I've recommended it to so many people and I know they won't regret. Paul and your team I salute you guys. Food is very nice especially the braai, hooo I'd like to suggest that you buy a light for each room(for load shedding) or request guests to bring their own. I really enjoyed my stay breakfast was sumptuous, chefs you are goodoo. Thanks

    Even though most of the property was clean, tidy, and modern, the atmosphere was extremely eerie and cold. Not even once were we allowed to enter through a front door even though our room was very close to it. We had to enter through a garage or a long walk around the back of the property every time. When we signed in the power went off (loadshedding) and not only was there no backup generator, there was also no UPS for wifi or backup lighting (I would think this is a requirement for a 4 star guesthouse). The signal in the area is inconsistent so without wifi during loadshedding you won't have much access to internet. There was no background music in reception or at the dining area which contributed to the eerie and cold atmosphere. This one point might just be personal preference, but almost all the lights were cold bright white LEDs (even the bed lamps) - which made us feel like we were living in a hospital - would recommend replacing some lights with warm white LEDs like most other guesthouses have. Even though staff were friendly, they were a bit socially awkward (the constant staring made us feel uncomfortable). We even had a strange request from a staff member who said "management wanted a photo of us" but when we asked why, they could not provide any reason. Our mattresses and pillows did not have mattress/pillow protectors. Even though the food presentation was very nice, we had to wait quite a while and the food was cold. Our bathroom was very nice and clean. The shower and bath was modern with water jets and multiple shower heads. Overall, in my opinion, the stay was not worth the price. Would not recommend.

    This is a great place to be, value of money. The stuff is so amazing and they will treat you with Care and respect, but Trevor made our visit more worthwhile and he gave us the best service. Trust me, when you visit this place, ask for Trevor, He is your guy since he knows the area well and his not only gonna make you enjoy this place but he will make sure you come back over and over.
