Gerda’s place is breathtaking. She is an attentive host. She went above and beyond to make me and my fiancé feel comfortable and at home. Will definitely be coming back If you want to experience a five star treatment this is the place to go.

Beautiful place, well furnished. Could not use one bedroom because of the stench from ablution drains. Owner was not easily accessible.

After a truly amazing wedding.. my husband booked us into the Blue Crane Villa for 3 nights for our honeymoon!.. When we arrived we received an incredible welcome and a honeymoon surprise in our suite which my husband and the beautiful host and owner, Gerda organised! The attention to detail from the honeymoon breakfast table to the room turn down at night left us speechless. Gerda, Olga and Gerdas friend Lee made us feel incredible as newly weds and like old friends. The view breathtaking, the company spectacular and food delicious. We will be back as soon as we can! It was a superb experience. The view is amazing, the rooms are very clean and Gerda delivered what I asked for and even exceeded my expectations. I had planned a surprise for my Girlfriend and Gerda made sure our room always looks romantic. Oh, we even got a free jacuzzi time and Gerda said it’s for my Girlfriend’s birthday. What an experience.

Location, location, location! The villa had beautiful views of the lake from every room. The rooms were well-appointed and Gerda was a delightful hostess. Gerda did more than expected to provide a perfect get-away.

This is a 5 Star Plus romantic, private and intimate venue, extremely luxurious and spacious interior, bed, private bath and shower, kitchen and bar. With that kind of breakfast, we had no desire for any lunch. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi are 10 metres from the dam. Best view of dam activity and the Hartebeesport Montains we could watch the see creatures every morning, we were basically living in the dam. Exquisite hands on customer service by the owner Gerda each and every minute. The Estate also has its own animals viewable enroute between main gate and the Villa. Its going to be an Annual Trip

This was definitely a most pleasurable experience. If relaxing and unwinding is what you need...then the Blue Crane Villa is the place to go. The owner is so friendly and you feel immediately at home when you walk through the doors.

We enjoyed everything, from the rose petal turndown and romantic setup, the decadent chocolates, the background music and welcome drinks to the scrumptious breakfast and everything in between! Everything is so crispy fresh and what a beautiful ambience. We felt at peace and I am glad to have chosen you because you helped us make our dream proposal a reality. It was beyond romantic. You really know how to ignite that spark. It is no wonder that you are rated one of the very best. Your service speaks for itself. You left no room for error. It was perfect.
