A wonderful get-away in the bush. Large, clean and private stands in the bush. Homely feel with super friendly staff and owners. Warm pool to relax and unwind. Loved the roar of the lions in the distance as well as the visits by some Nyalas and Impalas during the day.

We went camping over the long weekend in Aug. The staff make you feel very welcome and are very friendly, the stands are big and are neatly kept. The ablutions are also well kept and clean. The pool is clean and a treat. The sounds of the lions in the evening are a bonus. We will definitely visit again.

Just a phenomenal getaway. The staff make you feel like family and all the people we met were come back clients. Great food at the Kiosk and they go out of their way to make your stay as cosy as it can be. Awesome camping and clean facilities. What more do you want?

First time camping here it was an amazing experience. Such a beautiful place! The staff is super nice and helpful. It's very neat and clean. So quiet, a perfect place to get away from it all. It has a warm outdoor pool. We will absolutely return again. This is our new favorite place.

Is an exelant brake away place not far from Johannesburg. You're in the bush if that is what you like. Early morning walks was fantastic. Would definitely come and visit you again.

Beautiful bush camp where you can hear the lions roar. Abundant bird life. Spacious stands. Neat ablutions. The hosts and staff really make you feel welcome and look after your every need. We will definitely visit them again and again! Highly recommended.

We held a group camp for 50 people in March 2022. Absolutely stunning. Best staff, amazing spacious stands, ablution blocks were clean. If you need to just get away from it all - this is the place to go! Thank you to the owners, they are great!

Highly recommended bush-feel camp site. Everything is so clean and everyone is super friendly. You immediately feel part of the family. You can hear lion from one of the neighbouring farms while sleeping. Great value for money. I want to go back already.

Was really nice perfect for camping with a fur baby, only criticism I can give would of been nice to know that the pool could of been made cold. Father rooms where really nice a clean, the staff where all amazing, helpfull and always having a smile

Can't complain about Management because is there is none...they rely on the Barman and the Kiosk attendant to run the place. The Maintenance around the pool is atrocious and downright dangerous and they have NO safety concern. 2 of our friends fell through the pool decking, one was injured badly and they didn't even have a First Aid kit availible for us to help our own friend. Even worse is when I told the owner, he simply kept on loading alcohol into his cooler from his bar, got into his car and left, didn't even bother to come and check how serious it was There is simply no concern for their customers... I WILL ADD, that these same friends were there months ago when there was another lady Managing the place and the had a VERY different experience that time, that's why they took us there

Lots of potential but Camp sites are to close to and could be spaced out or slightly larger. Bar/Guest were playing load music until midnight, which is contrary to the rules and advertised atmosphere. Ablutions are neat and clean. Heated pool and kids play area was pleasant and offered fun for the whole family. Owner's dogs were relatively well behaved apart from the occasional barking and storming guests when anyone approached the pool/bar area.

Camping only. Good clean large sites. Access on very poor road .... large unavoidable pools - afraid of getting stuck ... last 2½km corrogated. Required to phone to gain access, but call goes through to voicemail. Cold swimming pool due to loadshedding also affecting water supply ... pressure too low to activate gas geysers. Reasonably stocked shop, bar and few items available for sit down meals.

Can't recommend this campsite any higher. We camped in the Krimpvark private bush camp at Rust Oord which was a few hundred meters from the other campsites. Excellent choice for anyone who prefers more privacy / being away from other campsites. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Coming from Joburg, we found this area to be preferable traffic wise to various nearby camping destinations north of Pretoria. The main area had a well stocked bar and small shop, and a nearby heated pool which was a nice bonus.

Such a great campsite, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so did our 2 chihuahuas! Can't wait to go back.

Weekend bliss under the stars, clean, well thought out camp sites. Ideal for privacy. Hot water showers were amazing. You cannot fault the wonderful hospitality and kindness of the owners, Frank, Alisha and girls. Can’t wait to return x
