Stunning place for a lovely romantic, different, one of a kind experience for people looking for the finer things in life! The decor is so beautiful and really makes you feel like you are in a different country. There is 2 art galleries on site, with stunning work portrayed. TheRe are some old classic cars to look at. The rooms are well equipped with stunning bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also a must to done at the in-house restaurant THE Mosaic when staying here.

The best overall culinary experience of my life. Leave Johannesburg and enter a world of Moroccan splendor as you enter the estate. Mosaic is more than food, it's a few hours of magic to experience what true genius is. I recommend staying over and if you are lucky you may see a giraffe as well. Check out the bronze sculpture museum as well. Sublime

Been here for a wedding and it is a truly 5 star experience. From the 9 course meal served with a wine tasting for every course to the expert congiers, ambience, view and many more. If you are middle class but can afford it book and go. It's an amazing dining experience.

One of the very few exclusive hotels that make you feel as if you are the most important guest that has ever stayed there, even if you don't arrive by helicopter. Exquisite Moroccan decor interspersed with beautiful artworks, with a predominance of bronzes by Tienie Pritchard. Beautiful gardens, amazing staff and officially the best female chef in the world. Cannot recommend this hotel too highly.

One of the very best nights of my life. The most beautiful setting and the finest food. No wonder we had a very long wait to get a table. There is food, and then there is Chantel's vision that is beyond food. More of an experience beyond what we expected, and we had high hopes. We had the wine paring and it was beautifully done with such flair from all the gorgeous and talented hosts. I cannot say enough good things. Will be going as soon as we can again. 10 out of 5. I can not believe that one could have such an exquisite experience in this country. They work so hard and I want to give them a big high 5 for showing what excellence is. We all need more of that! Well done!

Sensational! What a true delight to be able to enjoy the hotel and restaurant Mosaic. Chef Dartnall and her family are astounding hosts and the experience is marvelous. Truly a magical memory. I recommend staying the night and enjoying the beautiful hotel and surrounds as well the exquisite breakfast the next morning. It’s really worth the trip and expense. Dinner with wine pairing is a must. The mixed wine pairing was filled with unique labels and matched the meal sublimely. I am lactose intolerant and am truly thankful and impressed by how the menu was tweaked for my intolerance. The kitchen really does make every effort to make sure all guests enjoy the meal equally.

Absolutely fantastic evening at restaurant Mosaic. One of the best meals I have ever had! ...and the stay over at the hotel and breakfast were top notch! Not to mention the great service. We also loved the art collection... A truly magical and memorable experience!

Words cannot do the experience justice! The attention to detail, the service from the amazing staff and the Beautiful lay out really makes you feel like you are in a Magic, Oriental wonderland! Chantel and her staff take you on a culinary journey with so much passion and soul in every dish. I will definitely be bringing my wife back again!

Fantastic place with service glitches. We sent dietary requirements weeks before arriving. Confirming again just days before arriving and then on arrival. Still, it seemed to come as a surprise for the kitchen as the first plate we got served contained exactly what we couldn't eat. No real substitute. Only one nice dish on this grand tasting menu. Still a nice place but the food was definitely not worth the price.

😠 A bad place to go. We were robbed at the venue and the staff never made a point to follow up on the matter. Till today we are still traumatized about what happened to us and the things we lost under their watch. How do you run and place and lack security. Worst part we were told we are not the first...
