Its popular but not crowded. Fairly good prices. Standard quality yummy grub. Grab a drink..drinks specials at times. Watch the game. Might have been Mamas at some point I like it and will always go. Affordability in Greenside is always appreciated

It was a good evening people were friendly and service was ok. Parking and security outside though is not enough in my opinion it's rather dark and you need to park far from the restaurant.

I and a group of friends had decided to come here to hang after not seeing each other for a while. We called ahead to reserve space for 8 of us, on arrival we were shown to a single table that could barely fit 6. We asked for some extra chairs that never arrived. Next we asked for a can of coke, two jugs of water,and 6 glasses as two of number had not yet arrived (which was lucky as it meant the seats weren't needed for them yet). We received a jug and 4 glasses. The music was so loud we had to strain to hear the person sitting next to us. After about half an hour we decided we would rather spend the night at topogigio next door and we had a great time there.

I certainly do not recommend the Eisbein. For R220 you get undercooked pork with no mashed potatoes and apple sauce, but American fries. The fries were soft, not crispy and too salty. I was not even asked whether I wanted fries. R220 being already way overpriced in comparison to German restaurants, I was expecting quality. Instead the Eisbein was not well prepared or presented. You do not serve fries with Eisbein. Spare yourself the disappointment and go to a German restaurant that knows how to prepare Eisbein and is not overpriced.

Went with my friend for a birthday lunch. Had one cocktail and the steak special. Food wasn’t great and cocktails were very cheap but not great. Had to stop on the side of the road on my way home to throw up everything I ate and I haven’t thrown up in over 10years. Will definitely not be going back.

Was there for 3 consecutive days, had spare ribs and fries, beef burger and fries alongside my Windhoek Lager. Had a great great experience and will definitely come back whenever I'm in Joburg. Great service by Gracious.

Such a great vibe, the music and atmosphere, and the half jar promo runs from 12pm until 7...

Ordered food from them on Uber. They called me when the driver arrived and they hadn't even started the order. Reading all the other reviews they were overpriced too.

Great specials, good food and excellent cocktails and jugs. Although can become overcrowded at times

Food was really great tasting.....when it finally came.we ended up sharing and finishing my burger and mash while waiting for my partner's pizza to come..service no smile and dragging of feet as if we forced her to work that day..would order for delivery but not to sit down ever..

They were open on the 24th of December which was nice. Our waitress was very friendly and service was quick.

This place is highly rated on Google. Was extremely dissapointed, the place is dirty, shabby and the service was non existent.

We had the steak special, and the two-pizza special... both were awesome. The prices were very reasonable, while the service was impeccable and very refreshing, especially compared to the pathetic service I'm used to getting these days. Will highly recommend them, and intend returning very soon!

Their prawn special just makes sense. I go there repeatedly for their prawn special and they're very consistent with them.

Love the pizza. they have a special kind of sauce to go with your meal. Unfortunately our steak was still bleeding raw on the inside.

If it's a weekend vibe you're looking for with you mates from high school. This is the place to be.

Pretty old fashioned but decent. Great food and drink menu. Gets a bit noisy but a nice atmosphere. Totally long wait for the food. Veg burger was dry and not very appatising. Nothing some hot sauce couldn't fix! Waiter forget we were there and disappeared all the time.

Very disappointed with the food, they used to have heug portions and it was delish. NOW food is terrible

Nice place but kwaito style music too loud. Won't go back.
