Good Spur-quality food. Fabulous service. Great Sunday atmosphere. Restaurant was clean and well kept.

I loved this time I came here. At first, I wasn't looking forward to coming here AGAIN, but some other Elders wanted to go, so yea. The first time we waited forever, it felt like the food was a bit cold. This time, it was amazing. Food came fairly quickly. Everything was still warm, and it tasted amazing. I'm very sad about the Monday special. The price for it has just been skyrocketing, very sad. Otherwise, great atmosphere, great waiter, and great food. I have no complaints.

Loved the intimacy of this place. The mood is very chilled, and the service is impressive.

The breakfast was great, with good service and a awesome atmosphere. They have a very big play area and nice view off the outside. What is really nice is that they give you those tags that you see in stores with the clothing that when you take it out of the store it alarms, so basically you can attach onto your child's garment.

Spent my day here with meetings and later lunch with a friend. Had missed the spur food that's always good. You never go wrong with wings and onion rings 🤣 on the side. Thank you for reminding me the real spur meals

For a Monday it was quite busy, which is due to all of their specials. The food was good, my pork was done medium to well, absolutely wonderful. The pricing has increased, be aware, it my shock you. Our server was good, the food came out fast.

Even though my booking was super last minute for my daughters birthday, they nailed the booking location, the food was really good- first time in a while from spur, and the service was good too. 3 ticks. The child minder was safely ushering all the little kids up and down the stairs and played bouncer when a bunch of teenagers tried to go into the play area. Will be going again soon

Usually my best spot with the kids but I was extremely disappointed today. 1stly our food arrived 1:22 mns later, food was dry and overdone. The cocktail was done twice yet still tasted nothing but iced water.

This is the worst Spur by far! It's so sad because it's literally walking distance from my house, but each time I go there's an issue. Messed up my order, take forever to bring the food, take forever to bring the bill, the bill is incorrect, it goes on and on. I have been biting the bullet each time and continued to go there because it's located so conveniently for me. But after forgiving them for almost a year I have had enough. I don't know how you hire staff, seems like everyone either can't speak English or understand English correctly. Even the click and collect feature is messed up, they called me and told me the order was ready and when I got there made me wait 30 minutes only to find out my order was ready long ago and I've been looking at it the whole time but they didn't give it to me... Real incompetence issue here. I will rather drive to the mall to go to another Spur. Please, for your own sanity, avoid this place!

Had not been to Spur in 4yrs, it was a good experience. Kids enjoyed their burgers. Ribs are still as good. Enviroment is still good - great for kids. Prices are slightly up from what one was used to. But worth it. We enjoyed ourselves. Friendly staff as well. Loadshedding didnt affect the dining which was awesome

We sometimes go here for dinner but yesterday we ordered the burger special for takeaway. We are still blown away by the overall experience. The service was efficient and excellent. Food was so amazing, fresh and tasty. Definitely ordering again next monday!

My favorite go to Spur. They give you exceptional service. There's a good play area for the kids. Love that they have trampolines

Chose this spur for a quick boxing day breakfast however there was no one at the front to seat us despite the restaurant being fairly quiet, eventually we were sat at a table that couldn't accommodate everyone, we spent half an hour waiting for our beverages and coffee, our food came out plate by plate as they did not anticipate the cooking time, ordered medium done sunnyside eggs but received fully cooked yolks, 3 of the breakfasts were the unreal breakfast however it seems as if they split one portion of chips among all 3. Our waitress was sweet and accommodating.

Wasnt open @ 9am as stated on maps.waited very long for my order. And then found a hair in my food. Food was delicious though

Not like the other Spurs. Quality of food bad 👎. Mum got take-out of nachos today. Nacho has cheese on the top only and nothing inside at all. No chili in the hot one. Nachos were stale and hard as rock, lettuce was all brown and tomato slimy. Quac was brown before I opened it. Not recommended.

Our waiter had a bit of an attitude, she did not tell us her name and we were rushed to making an order. We asked for the manger who speedily and politely addressed our concerns. The food was amazing, variety of drinks and establishment is clean.

Was served by a trainee she made lots of mistakes, had to pay for extra things we didn't ask for. And since we waited for a takeaway box until we ended up leaving. And flies are a disruption.

Enjoyed the 1/2 Hot Chicket Meal ,which is on promotion .Had it with a Bar One Milkshake .

The ribs here are terrible. Every time I order them, they are tough. Today when placing an order I told them to prepare tender, juicy ribs and they agreed. To my surprise they we tough,crunchy and burnt. It happens all the time so I think they can't cook ribs. The best is Mall of Africa where u find them falling off the bone and juice.

There is something special about this Spur. It runs like clockwork. The food is well prepared, hot, delivered quickly. The staff always have a smile and are trained well in delivering customer service. Large, safe play area. Separate smoking area. Clean toilets. I cannot ask for more. I now only come to this Spur. It is in my opinion, the best Spur in Gauteng. It’s well worth the drive to experience this particular Spur.

Ordered 300g of ribs and got something that was less than desired. Definitely not what was pictured in the deal.

Big ups to Michelle!(Trainee) the waitress that served me spectacularly! while I was load shed at home and decided to work @Minnetonka Spur. She made my stay pleasant as she seated me and later also assisted me with a table that had a plug for my laptop and of-cause also consistently checking up on me. GREAT SERVICE! Michelle!

Great restaurants with lovely stuff. Classic go to place for South African meat lovers. You'll get a good steak at a good price. Be warned though that if you are a spur regular. Expect a decrease in portion sizes. It's the same through all the spur franchises. It's still a good place for family and friends and a South African favourite. Nice sport to catch the rugby and enjoy the Heineken special

Always grate to visit Minnetonka Spur, we appreciated the fact that the Manager went out of his way to make several turns at our table, not an lot of Spur franchises still over this personal touch, for the little ones shorter than 1.2m an large play area is available, the kids will have to climb some stairs however the kids make every step count to get excited about the fun that is awaiting them. The food was succulent and an person can see that every care was taken to prepare the delicious gourmet.

Service is always good. Food is always hot and 👌. Caters for the family. Enough entertainment to keep the kids busy. Thank you from lockdown days of collecting at the door to now being able to sit and enjoy. Tag system for kids will be nice to have.

Food was great, dunno if it's loadshedding or weather conditions, but the service was horrible today. My waitress Tshepo really didn't have any interest in service. Took ages for my order to come and definitely not accommodating. First time I was unhappy with this normally great restaurant

Dined in for breakfast. Literally the breakfast was unreal I have to say. Great service from my waitress. I wanna give out her name but I don’t know if that’s allowed. Good setup and good food. That’s what I am all about. Thanks Minnetonka spur.

After not vising for a few years of forgotten how good this Spur really is; strict COVID 19 protocol in place, extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff, speedy service and a Spur breakfast that is exactly what you expect. One of the better Spurs and still one of the best breakfast spots in the area.

Went in there when it was packed, the food took a bit while, understandably so, and the stuff was very friendly. The manager also came in to check up on us and we shared a joke. Energetic stuff.

Enjoyed each and every bite. Customer service was excellent! 👌🏽
